The Snyder Farm is quite a healing place: Ameera hasn’t slept so well in a very long time. Too bad her visa expires soon and she’ll be shipped back to Iraq, where — as we learned on her PSA-like stroll through Oakdale with Noah, who had ditched school, to Luke’s chagrin — girls don’t ride in cars with boys and must walk a few paces behind them, censorship under Saddam was horrendous and everyone lived in fear of suicide bombers. Also: Luke and Noah’s romance would have gone over even worse in Baghdad than, say, Cincinnati. One thing she simply could not believe was that Colonel Mayer, who she knows to be a kind, generous, protective man, would be so cruel as to reject his son. Ameera couldn’t understand why Noah wouldn’t want to hear good things about his father, but Noah revealed that Winston tried to kill Luke, and he's in jail for murdering Cheri. Ameera was completely shocked; Noah admitted that he’s jealous that she got to see such a gentle side to his father. They locked eyes as Luke — clearly used to interpreting normally innocuous moments as intimate — spied them and looked nervous. He cutely acted a bit jealous, but they all went to Al’s together.

Alison was on a breakfast date with Matt at Al’s when Aaron dropped by. Aaron awesomely gave Matt the third degree about how he knows Casey and where he’s from until Ali put a stop to it. When Matt stepped away, Alison told Aaron that her love life is none of his business. They were in of their stubborn impasses when Matt returned; Aaron then reported that he’d only stopped by because Julie had a relapse so he’s going back to Seattle "for a while." Alison, feeling instantly guilty, jumped to wish him and his mother well. Once Aaron was gone, Matt spotted Gray and did a double take, but claimed not to know him when Ali asked. Later, Alison decided to reveal her sketchy past before they went any further, but Matt kind of sweetly told her "we’ve all done stuff we’re not proud of ... I don’t judge anybody." He then confessed to shoplifting comics and candy as a kid. He gave her a kiss on the cheek when they parted, but his smile disappeared as he watched her leave.

Henry brought Vienna breakfast in bed, along with an ultimatum: return the diamond necklace and reject Gray’s supposedly no-strings-attached attempt to give back Al’s or else they’re through. Vienna did just that when she met Gray at Al’s. He tried tempting her with a luxurious dinner, but she declared her love for Henry and declined. She did agree to a cup of coffee, though. Suddenly, Al’s was shaken by a loud boom. Gray secretly pulled a gun as a precaution; Ameera ducked under the table. Vienna reported that the furnace backfired, but Ameera was still completely freaked out. The boys took her home and agreed that they have to do whatever it takes to keep her from being sent back to Iraq. Meanwhile, Gray used the interruption to talk Vienna into agreeing to have lunch with him.

Jack reported to Carly that he had Kit brought in to the station on trumped up charges; unfortunately that’s what her lawyer pointed out to a beleaguered Dallas, who was forced to let her go.

A hung over Brad was bragging about his wild night on the town with Bonnie when Katie burst into tears — not because she’s jealous, but because she feels guilty about screwing things up for Parker. They agreed to work together to help Parker and Brad recruited Henry (who had arrived for advice about Vienna.) Jack angrily rejected Brad’s attempt to tell him about the surely "harebrained" scheme, while Katie was similarly shut down by Carly (who irrationally blames her entirely for the fact that they didn’t catch Kit). But the plan worked: a bespectacled Henry fooled Kit into thinking that he wanted to buy Metro, thus keeping her in town. Katie urged Henry to go make up with Vienna, who made it pretty easy by reporting that she had done everything regarding Gray that he had instructed her to do. They fell into bed. Meanwhile, Katie reported to Jack and Carly, who felt bad for being so mean to Katie and Brad.
