At the Lakeview, Ali admitted Emily had been right about Casey. "I feel like a bad sister, as well as a fool," she bemoaned. Sympathetic (and self-centered!) Em claimed Casey had been messing with Alison's head because of her and apologized for coming down so hard on Ali. At Al's, Luke was shocked to hear that his hospital roof reunion plan hadn't worked. Casey told Luke that Jade had convinced him not to see Ali and Luke confronted his cousin. Jade claimed to Luke and Casey that overhearing Casey and Emily's argument had made her "try to help." Casey ran off to try and make things right with Ali and Luke asked Jade for the real deal. Jade evaded Luke's questions. At Memorial, Ali reunited with a newly returned Matt. When Casey showed up looking for her, he was directed to find her at the park with "some guy." In the park, Ali caught Matt up on everything he'd missed (marriages, divorces, etc). In the park, Matt asked what he could do for Ali. Well, he could kiss her! They smooched as Casey looked on. When Casey stopped watching, Ali pulled back from the passionate clinch and Matt pointed out it's clear she hasn't moved on from the guy. Jade found Casey and apologized. Huffy Casey said he didn't need any help with Ali. Luke checked up on Ali, explaining that Casey hadn't got the message to meet her yesterday. "Remember I told you our timing sucked?" Ali chuckled, bitterly, realizing her kissing Matt had made things even worse. Later, Matt ran into Casey and the awkward park thing made their reunion less than sweet. Casey coolly wished the new duo luck. He was done with Ali! Meanwhile, Jade picked up her first paycheck from Emily, wondering why Em wouldn't want two people she loves to be happy.

At the Lakeview, Meg checked on a sleeping Eliza and a waking Dusty. Meg cracked that theirs was the shortest marriage she'd ever had and said she's going to see Paul to hammer in that they're finito. Dusty didn't like that idea. At Fairwinds, Barbara blasted Paul for helping Craig secure Johnny and he pointed out the upside: Meg's still his wife. Later, Dusty wheeled Eliza through the Lakeview lobby and ran into a bitter Emily. He revealed he lost custody of Johnny. The harsh one-liners flew! Meg came by Fairwinds and Barbara made herself scarce. Cue Meg and Paul having a big row over Paul's schemes and Meg saying she was going through with the divorce and changing Eliza's visitation. At the hotel, bittersweetness tinged Emily and Dusty's tone and then she walked away. Meg and Paul's argument went quickly south. Meg yelled that she's in love with Dusty (to make Paul mad) and Paul muttered that he should've killed Dusty when he had the chance. This cemented Meg's desire to stay away from him. Barbara tried to keep Paul calm, noting he sounds like his father. She offered to call her legal team and do things right. Paul asked her to visit with Eliza first. At the Lakeview, Meg told Dusty what had happened. Then she agreed to meet Barbara in the lounge. Dusty warned her against this. Naïve Meg trusted Babs and told Dusty she didn't need his protection. Downstairs, Barbara took her son's part and begged Meg to let her stay in Eliza's life. Then the lights went out! When the lights came back on? Meg realized Eliza was gone! Paul had taken the child and run!
