Meg flipped when she realized Eliza was missing. Dusty instantly put the screws to Barbara: Where is Paul? Barbara swore she had no idea what happened. Dusty comforted a teary Meg. Josie left a letter for Dusty and headed out of town. Eliza's crying alerted her to Paul in the backseat of her car! He warned her not to turn the vehicle around or else! Meg and Dusty reported the kidnapping to Jack, who suggested Barbara try calling Paul. His phone was off! Jack went into cop mode and also soothed his cousin's fears. Josie pointed out Paul wouldn't shoot her and risk running the car off the road. Paul insisted he'd rather die with Eliza than without her. She pointed out that if Paul answered his phone maybe Meg would chill out. Barbara, who was on the line, asked Paul to bring Eliza home and realized he's gone 'round the bend. Dusty assured Meg that Paul would never hurt Eliza and held her as she tried to rest. Early the next morning, Dusty got Josie's letter and Meg didn't understand why there'd been no news. They caught up with Jack at the Oakdale PD and decided to search the Fairwinds tunnels. The search turned up zilch! In Brooklyn, N.Y., Paul revealed he'd been threatening Josie with a baby bottle, not a gun, and she went off on him. As they kept arguing, they hid out in the real-life ATWT studio (masquerading as one for a show called CRIME AND PUNISHMENT). Paul and Josie tried to keep Eliza calm in the show's green room and were then called on set! Afterwards, Josie told Paul he couldn't go on the run with a child and Paul made cracks about the limited food supplies in the green room. Later, Meg cried over Eliza's blanket and Dusty promised they'd get the baby back. He then read Josie's note and left her a voicemail. Back at ATWT, Paul deleted Dusty's message while Josie and Eliza napped.

In Milltown, Parker asked Carly for permission to spend the night at a friend's. "No kids, no man, no appetite," Carly griped once alone. Parker checked in with Liberty, who made her own excuses so they could run off to a Metallica concert in Chicago. Carly, meanwhile, ran into Craig and Johnny in Old Town. Unimpressed by Craig's idea of fun (hitting on Fashions' salesgirls), Johnny wanted to go to Carly's. The jig was up for Lib and Parker when Liberty's "excuse," a sleepover at her pal Sasha's, fell through — Sasha's mom came to Al's! Janet stormed over to Milltown to give Carly the heads up and the freaking out over their kids commenced. Craig sheepishly confessed that Parker got Metallica tickets with his money. He was then faced with two irate mothers. Craig offered to go to Chicago and bring the kids home. Janet offered to watch Johnny while he and Carly made the jaunt. She called Jack to tell him what happened and when he hightailed it to Milltown, he told her he was having a tough night. Poor Johnny was totally confused by these random people watching him. A short time later, Craig and Carly returned with the errant teens in tow. Jack read Craig the riot act and then told a shocked Craig and Carly he had to go find Eliza. Parker and Liberty were grounded in separate corners. Alone, Craig apologized to Carly and then wistfully played with Johnny's hair. In the wee hours of the morning, Carly dressed down both Parker and Craig and wearily booted Craig out "for good." Craig tried to talk her out of it, and insisted he cares about Parker — "maybe too much," because Parker reminds him of Parker's mother. Craig collected sleepy Johnny and left.
