Kevin, Noah, and Luke were all shellshocked after attending Reg's funeral and Luke turned down Kevin's offer of a cup of coffee. Inside Java, Luke manhandled Elwood and accused him of killing Reg as Noah and Kevin looked on. "I had nothing to do with it!" Elwood insisted. Noah and Luke then brainstormed how to prove the contrary. Luke wanted to search Elwood's dorm room and Noah thought it was a "bad idea." He urged his boyfriend not to do anything dumb and went to class. If you guessed Luke broke into the dorm, you'd be right! He found a suspicious note from an 'M,' and then got caught by Elwood, Kevin, and campus security! Noah showed up at the OPD, where Luke revealed what happened. "It looks bad," Margo warned them. After all, B&E was a felony! She went to call Holden and Lily. Alone, Luke asked Noah to help him out and snuck him the mystery note. Noah sensibly wondered why they couldn't tell Margo. Well, because they didn't have enough info yet! Luke made puppy eyes, stroked the back of Noah's head, and got his way. Then, furious Lily showed up to lecture her son for his recklessness. Lily asked Margo, as a mother, to ease up on Luke. Margo understood but noted it all hinged on Elwood not pressing charges. Lily then made her pitch to Elwood, who said he'd forget the whole thing if Luke apologized. Luke had no intention! Lily and Noah urged him to suck it up and he poutily apologized for the break in (but not for his suspicions!) Luke was then free to go. Later, he insisted to Noah that Elwood still has something to hide. Kevin offered to keep an eye on Elwood for them. Luke was suspicious and Noah wondered why he's so paranoid, noting maybe Kevin's heart is in the right place. Luke reiterated they had to keep digging for Reg's sake.

At Fashions, Lily caught Jade admiring a dress to impress Casey in and wondered how she could afford the new threads — as Emily watched. Moments later, Lily saw Jade trying to shake Em down for cash. Jade tried to change the subject and Lily guessed that Emily is jealous of Casey and Jade. "Emily Stewart doesn't play by anybody's rules but her own," warned Lily. At Al's, Casey got all squirrelly watching Ali and Matt come in and Margo wanted the 411. When Casey huffed, Margo called him out on his choice of women. Matt noticed how distracted Alison was and ushered her out. He asked her to be honest with herself about Casey. She admitted she's having a tough time but also enjoys Matt's company. Back at Al's, Margo questioned Casey about who might be dealing drugs and he got defensive. At Memorial, Emily checked up on Alison, who admitted the idea of Casey had been a mistake. Emily was shocked to hear she'd seen Casey and Jade having sex and told Ali she's lucky nothing ever happened between them. Em then made a beeline to blast Jade — who blackmailed her, saying she'd tell Ali everything. Naturally, Casey walked in. Naturally, Em and Jade covered. Alone and rattled by Jade's swipes at the Stewart sisters, Casey nixed their date (despite Jade's cute new dress) and left for work. At Memorial, Noah caught Casey up on the whole Elwood/mystery 'M' thing. Moments later, Casey ran into Matt in the drug locker and Matt said he was looking for Ali. Casey's Spidey senses tingled! Lily asked Jade to talk to Luke about his issues and then Jade ran off to Memorial. She tried to seduce Casey in the drug locker but he fled. At Yo's during her break, Ali and Matt clinked sodas and shared laughs. Matt felt optimistic about their future and leaned in for a kiss. Casey, who rushed in clutching M's note, witnessed kisses #2 and 3.
