Vienna and Katie went over her offer of surrogacy again and Vienna assured Katie that Brad would be on board since Brad loves her so much. "There's absolutely no reason to wait," V. insisted. Oh yeah? What about Henry? Meanwhile, Brad brought Henry over to help him with looking into adoption. "This is the next best thing," he said, when Henry expressed his concerns. Later, Katie came home and Henry made excuses and left. Katie told Brad she was ready to look into other options to have kids. Brad started to broach the topic of adoption but Katie interrupted, wondering if Vienna had already spoken to him. A few misunderstandings occurred and Katie explained about the surrogacy. "Vienna wants to have our baby for us?" he boggled. Back at the Lakeview, Vienna explained to Henry that she's going to carry Brad and Katie's baby and Henry flipped. Brad suggested he and Katie seriously consider adoption, but she really wanted to try this with Vienna first. And they'd make sure to do everything legally, with contracts and whatnot. Vienna pointed out to Henry that they'd get the best of both worlds. She could be pregnant and they wouldn't have to raise a child. Henry tried to point out she'd be all "round" and "bumpy." To no avail! Katie assured Brad she'd be okay with seeing V. pregnant with their child, so he reluctantly got on board. On cue, V. and Henry arrived. V. and Katie shared an emotional hug as the guys shared a look over their shoulders. Alone with Brad, Katie was hopeful of her dreams coming true.

At Al's, Elwood and Luke got into it and Luke tried to get Elwood off balance so he'd confess to his crimes. Alison visited Casey at the Oakdale PD and ignored his dire warnings about Matt. She pointed out that letting personal feelings get in the way could leave the real killer free to strike again. Casey brought up the whole Nevins mess from last year. Noah was wary about Luke telling Elwood they know who 'M' is. Kevin then showed up for an update and Luke told him Matt is the dealer. Noah, the voice of reason, pointed out they had no proof yet. Then a rattled Elwood called Luke and asked to meet him at the old bridge on Mill Road. Noah begged Luke to tell the cops but Luke claimed he had to do this for Casey. He then called Ali, saying she could tell Casey about the meeting but no one else. Casey was sure this would prove Matt's guilt. Alison then called Matt and ended up 'fessing up about Elwood and Matt's meeting. "This could be exactly what we need to clear both you and Casey!" she raved. Meanwhile, Noah decided to accompany Luke to the meet: "Someone's got to keep an eye on you!" he said. Out on the bridge, a car came by and plowed Elwood right over the side and onto the rocks below. The guys rushed down to try and revive him and Noah called 911. Meanwhile, Alison ran into her old nemesis, Mark, at Al's. He apologized for hurting her and then Kevin apologized, too. Alone, when Mark mentioned his interest in Ali, an alarmed Kevin reminded him that he'd almost raped Alison. Then, Matt burst in declaring his car had been stolen! Out by the bridge, Luke and Noah explained to Margo what happened. Later, she questioned them at the OPD and Noah was able to remember a few numbers from the car's license plate. Grim Margo then told Casey to go talk to his pals and the guys told him Elwood died. Back at Al's, Alison urged Matt to report his stolen car and dragged him to the station. There, she was horrified to learn from her friends that Elwood had been killed. And Margo revealed the car that hit Elwood was registered to Matt. When Ali rushed back into the squad room, Matt was gone. Casey considered this an admission of guilt. As Alison angrily teared up and admitted Casey had been right about Matt, he didn't know how to comfort her.
