Carly called Jack with the news that Parker seemed okay with going away to boarding school. She invited him, Janet and Liberty over for Parker's farewell dinner. Janet called Liberty's cell phone but at Parker's insistence, she didn't answer. Janet immediately sensed that something was wrong but Jack convinced her that everything is fine. They reveled in the fact that their kids' lives were finally getting settled.

Lucy asked Carly to help find a way for Lucy to make peace with Craig. Carly didn't want to be caught in the middle so Lucy left. Jack and Janet arrived and Carly was surprised that Liberty wasn't with him. Janet assured her daughter would be along. Sage showed up and needed money. Carly was surprised that a $100 was missing from her purse. Jack gave his daughter the cash she needed and she ran upstairs. Sage returned a few moments later and announced, "I think Parker is gone." She revealed that his duffle bag is gone. Janet tried to call Liberty's cell again but there still wasn't an answer. Carly checked Parker's room and discovered that his favorite T-shirts were gone. Jack and Janet headed out to search while Carly stayed behind to call Parker's friends. After Mr. and Mrs. Snyder left, Carly started swigging wine.

Meg encountered a pensive Dusty, who explained that Craig had found out that Lucy was allowing Dusty to see Johnny on the sly. Dusty also felt bad for messing things up for Lucy. Dusty then expressed his interest in Meg but she noted that Paul with always be in her life because of Eliza. However, Dusty didn't seem apprehensive about that.

While Jack questioned Craig at the diner about Parker, Johnny mentioned to Lucy that he saw Parker in a car with a funny license plate. Lucy convinced the tot not to say anything. Lucy then called someone for help.

A distressed but tipsy Carly decided to search for Parker and grabbed her car keys. Craig intercepted her at the door and refused to let her leave. He got her to lay down on the couch, then Lucy called and said she knew where Parker is. She said he could be the hero and gave Craig the address of the motel where Parker is hiding out. Craig went to the address and wasn't happy when Lucy showed up. They spotted Parker and Liberty, who started to run, so Craig and Lucy gave chase. Liberty fell and their pursuers caught up. Lucy described that life on the run isn't a happy one. Craig made a plea for the kids to do the right thing and go home.

Jack and Janet returned to Carly's place and found her passed out on the sofa. She came to and insisted she only a had a few glasses of wine. Carly groused that their plan to send Parker away backfired and that he's never coming back. Craig showed up with Parker and Liberty. After Craig left, Janet spirited Liberty away, while Jack informed his son that he's still going to boarding school. Parker went upstairs and Carly worried that Parker could run away again.

Janet scolded her daughter for running away and Liberty insisted she loves Parker. Jack returned and assured his wife that Parker is still going away to boarding school.... After another emotional argument with Parker, Carly almost started to drink again, but dumped out the rest of her wine.
