Paul was trying to get Eliza to sleep with a giant (scary) giraffe when Emily arrived. He said Meg was out with Dusty. He asked her to dig up dirt on Craig, claiming he was worried about a Dusty/Craig war hurting Meg. Meanwhile, at the farm, Meg told Dusty she let Paul babysit in order to give him time to adjust with Eliza. Dusty revealed he was taking her to the opening of Bruno Ferrari's new restaurant in Chicago. Holden interrupted their kiss. "Are you completely out of your mind?" he demanded. Holden questioned Dusty buying her a dress and baby clothes. Meg accused him of not being able to get past Dusty sleeping with Lily. He said Dusty ruins lives — like Rose's. Holden suggested she take a break from bouncing between Dusty and Paul to concentrate on Eliza. Meg said she always puts her daughter first. Meanwhile, Emily tried to convince Paul that Meg has moved on, but Paul insisted they would always be bound by their child. Paul suggested a hot story would boost her dwindling circulation, and played the Eliza card to get Em to fall in line. Lucy visited Craig, who was tearing his room apart, looking for Midnight Sun contracts. While he was distracted by a call, Lucy pulled the missing file from her bag and gave it to him. She claimed it was underneath couch cushions. Lucy made a call to someone and agreed to meet a contact at the shipping company. Emily cornered Craig — who didn't want to hear anything from her. At Worldwide, Lily ran into Dusty, and questioned whether he's attracted to Meg because she has a child and he just lost his. He insisted both he and Meg are going in with eyes open. Meg called Dusty to cancel the date, because she doesn't want to rush into another relationship. Later, Lily suggested Dusty and Meg are better off as friends. Meg went to pick up Eliza, and an elated Paul noted "there's still hope for us." She left Eliza with him for the night.

Lucy went to the waterfront and paid a man to secretly ship a little something extra along with the Midnight Sun. Back at the Lakeview, Emily promised her story won't mention Craig's criminal record. She asked if Lucy will be part of his new venture, but he refused to discuss his shady family history. When Emily wondered if he trusts his daughter. Lucy showed up and asked if Emily wants to ask her anything. Emily backpedaled and asked about the vodka, but Lucy advised him that divulging business secrets is a bad idea, so Craig sent Emily packing. After lunch, Lucy assured Craig she's interested in his business, but he doesn't believe her. Lucy later made a call suggesting that Emily could be a problem. Emily reported back to Paul that she's pursuing the vodka story.

Luke chortled over making Damian angry by using his cash to support gay rights. Noah asked Luke to move in with him (just for the summer). Luke was ecstatic, which was good because Noah had summoned Mr. Reese, who had a place for rent. However, Mr. Reese was stunned that two guys would be sharing a one bedroom — and said the apartment was already rented. Luke was furious. Tyler overheard, and called the landlord a major homophobe. Tyler referred them to a friendly broker, but Luke wouldn't leave it alone. He told Holden and Lily — who suggested making it a project for the foundation. The guys loved the idea.

Holden was shocked that Lily is running the foundation. Lily told Holden that Meg canceled her date with Dusty — and Lily felt sorry for him.Holden was angry, and Lily pointed out he's jealous that Dusty is her ex-lover. Holden suggested that he keep his distance from Dusty. They changed the subject to her working with Luke, and kissed.

Meg returned Dusty's gifts because they don't have that kind of relationship. He wondered about that... and kissed her.
