While Casey was mopping the hospital floor, Tom and Margo showed up and tried to make amends. Casey rebuffed them and after they left, Alison scolded him for shutting out his parents. Meanwhile, Tom and Margo settled in at Al's for lunch, where she worried about what their son is doing with his life. Casey showed up and reluctantly sat down with them. Margo apologized for arresting Casey, but he predicted that they will just jump all over him again when he makes another mistake. "You can't look at me without seeing all my screw-ups," he complained. When Mom and Dad questioned his drive and ambition, Casey got upset and stormed out. Tom suggested that Margo sit tight while he goes after their son. Alison showed up and assured Margo that deep down, Casey doesn't blame his mom for his recent troubles. Margo asked Alison to try and get through to Casey for them.

At the hospital, Dusty and Meg were surprised when Lucy walked by and ignored him. Later, Meg approached Lucy and asked her to persuade Craig to let Dusty see Johnny. Lucy said there's nothing she can do and Meg reminded her that Dusty helped Lucy when she needed him the most. Lucy tracked down Dusty at the hotel lobby and asked to speak to him privately. Emily saw them board the elevator and followed them. In Dusty’s hotel room, Lucy said she would try to do what she can so he can see Johnny again, but it may take a while. They hugged and once Lucy left, she called someone for a meeting. Emily followed Lucy to the docks and overheard her talking with a man about adding something to Craig's shipment of vodka.

For his next scheme, Paul asked Emily to stab him with a knife. "Just a flesh wound," he said but Emily refused and walked out. Paul then positioned the knife so he could cut himself. He rushed to the hospital with a bleeding hand and encountered Meg. He claimed that "some guy" attacked him but Meg immediately recognized that his wound had been self-inflicted. She accused him of trying to get her sympathy, but he insisted that Dusty could have her, adding that Donovan wasn't going anywhere near his “little girl." Paul then threatened that if Dusty doesn't stay clear of Eliza, his blood will be on the floor next. Meg later told Dusty about Paul's injury and she worried that he could become dangerous.

Tom found Casey at home, packing up. Tom tried to stop him, but Casey raged that he has to leave. Alison showed up and Tom left so they could talk. She pointed out that his parents were only trying to protect him. Like Emily was trying to protect her by paying Jade to sleep with him? Casey retorted Alison said that was a touchy subject. Casey went back to Al's and made up with his mom. Tom happily joined them and Casey said he would see them at home. Tom explained to Margo that their son was going to move out but Alison convinced him to stay. Casey crossed paths with Alison, who was happy to hear that he made nice with his parents. They then called and wanted Casey and Alison to join them for lunch. They returned to the Hughes house, where Casey announced that he wanted to make changes in his life.

Paul returned home and Emily soon showed up, then revealed what she heard at the docks. Paul plotted to find out what's going on with Lucy and Emily was taken aback when Paul kissed her (not passionately, but longer than a friendly smooch). Paul went to Lucy and busted her on her plan at the docks. Paul then ordered her to steal back Dusty or else Paul would blab to Craig about Lucy's shipment scheme.
