Carly awoke blearily, immediately reaching for some booze and choking on it. She freaked seeing her bed partner, Craig, who could describe their whole night in "X-rated detail." Craig dressed and tried to reassure her about Parker's hearing. A suited up Parker brought an outfit for Liberty to wear — paid for with Craig's cash. Parker then hoped to Craig that they wouldn't have to mooch off him much longer. Craig wondered if emancipation was really something he could handle and he and Lib assured Craig they were good to go. At the farm, Jack was still apologizing to Janet for calling Carly's bed his bed. "She's not your wife anymore," Janet reminded. Of course, Carly interrupted! Jack walked out rather than talk to her. Alone, Janet told Carly her ill-timed romp had probably derailed Jack coming around about Parker. Later, Craig dropped by the farm wanting to bury the hatchet. Janet told Craig to butt out of the family's problems. Jack, meanwhile, came to Milltown and apologized to Carly for his jerkishness, wanting them to be on the same page for Parker. She gently told him to let go of his anger. When Craig called, she said she was attending the hearing with Jack. At the hearing, Parker and Libby prepped and Craig told them he couldn't stay. Then, Jack and Carly tried to reach out to their son. To no avail. As the hearing got underway, the judge rattled off a litany of Snyder/Tenney issues. Jack jumped up to defend Carly, but the judge wanted to hear from Parker. He went to deliberate and Jack comforted Carly as Janet looked on. A little later, the judge announced he was denying emancipation and moving to transfer the trusteeship to someone besides Carly. Parker suggested Craig, which nipped his parents' momentary glee in the bud. Jack raged to Carly about Craig's influence on their son. Then, Janet collected her angry hubby and dragged him home, where he mourned losing their kids. Janet was sure they could "turn this thing around." Back at the Lakeview, Parker was giddy about Craig being his trustee. Upstairs, Carly stormed into Craig's suite to tell him the news and throw accusations around. He was shocked and swore he'd never undermine her as a parent: "You have my word."

Casey playfully pounced on Ali at Al's. She was looking up summer courses at Oakdale U. Nice try, but he wasn't going back to school. Even when she listed several classes. Margo walked in to approve of Ali's efforts and Casey got huffy. Later, Margo arrived at the Oakdale PD, where Jack was seething over Parker's hearing. Jack revealed he'd walked in on Craig and Carly and Margo urged him to unite with Carly today for their kids' sake. At Memorial, Casey pushed a mop and Dr. Bob walked up to regretfully let him go due to budget cuts. Dr. Bob believed in Casey, who was mighty frustrated by everyone's expectations. Casey bitterly told Ali he got fired. Ali touched base with Bob, who urged her to get through to Casey. At the OPD, Margo got a visit from Craig, who was "taking the high road" with Carly and her family. She was shocked by his sincerity and called him out on being in love with Carly. Craig got all rattled about "the L bomb" and dubbed it just "casual sex." Ali called a bummed Casey to meet her in the park. They skateboarded over to Oakdale U, where Casey flipped a coin over registering. They ended up going in to sign up for "African Drumming."
