Henry seemed to have cleaned out the baby stores in Old Town, giddy for his and V's bundle of joy. When Brad and Katie walked up, Henry and Vienna triedto cover apologetically. Brad didn't want an apology or anything else from them. Still bummed, Katie turned down Craig's dinner invite. Brad noted it'd be healthy for her to throw herself into work and reminded her he loves her. Of course, at work, they realized they forgot to nix the reality show! "There's no baby anymore!" Katie yelled at the cameraman. Brad comforted her as she wept. At Metro, Vienna's heart broke for Katie. A man overheard her and Henry discussing Katie's plight and offered help. He was a private adoption lawyer! Henry realized "this could be the answer" but Vienna was wary. Margo showed up at Katie's office and comforted her, gently suggesting she adopt. Katie was just hopeless. Brad and Margo were certain she'd be a mother. "My magic is done!" Margo announced when she finally elicited a smile. At home, Brad sent Katie to rest and then Henry dropped by. Out in the hall, Henry told Brad all about this adoption lawyer, Mr. Quick, who had a pregnant woman at the ready. Brad was willing to try anything. He told Katie all about Mr. Quick and they decided to call him and meet. Back at Metro, Vienna and Henry had high hopes that this would fix everything. At Brad and Katie's, they told Mr. Quick they wanted a meeting with the birth mother. He said he wanted $10,000 as a show of good faith. They immediately cut the check!

Craig and Johnny visited Carly and Johnny, missing Lucy, ran in for Carly's cookies. Craig didn't know how to cheer his son up. Carly suggested a big family dinner. It sounded so normal Craig couldn't say no. Meanwhile, Liberty checked on Parker at Java, worried about him cutting school, and Janet found Jack working from home. The duo bantered about work and Craig and Janet totally rocked her new hairstyle. "Katie and the ox aren't coming," Craig told Carly, adding that Margo was a lock. Carly noted she even had champagne for the occasion. They were positively domestic prepping for the evening. At Java, Parker didn't appreciate Libby's concern and stormed off. Lib went home and vented to Janet. At the station, Jack and Margo talked about Craig. Jack wasn't pleased to hear about the family dinner, which Margo then showed up to. Craig raised a toast (Carly had cola, not booze) but Brad called Margo about Katie's plight and she had to rush out. So much for dinner! Carly helped herself to Margo's bubbly and called Parker and Johnny down for dinner. Elsewhere, Janet called Jack to meet her at Carly's on Parker-related business. They showed up and Jack told Parker things had "gone far enough." Janet pulled Craig back as Jack and Carly confronted Parker about skipping school. He pouted and bolted out. The adults were all left to argue and point fingers. Janet broke up the kerfuffle, reminding them of their priorities. Meanwhile, Parker blasted Libby for ratting him out. Alone, Craig tried to make Carly feel better and noted Jack's real target had been him. He cited the car fiasco, admitting there's no "quick fix to raising a child." Back at the farm, Liberty told Jack and Janet Parker had been by and Jack resolved to take Parker's keys. In Milltown, Craig enjoyed dinner and Carly angsted. She said there was nothing he could do to help but he had other ideas.
