Craig called Carly out on her excessive drinking but she shot back that he's her problem. She ordered him to leave and he warned that she's going to drag down everyone who cares about her. She insisted she could stop drinking but interceded when Craig wanted to pour out her vodka.

At the diner, Parker informed Jack that he quit school. Jack calmly asked his son what he planned to do with his life but Parker didn't have an answer. Parker was amazed that his dad didn't try to talk him out of changing his mind. Jack reminded that he'll always be around for Parker.

Parker returned home and Carly was shocked to hear that Jack didn't fight him on dropping out of school. Carly got upset and Parker stormed out. Enraged, Carly tried to leave so she could confront Jack but Craig wouldn't let her go out in her drunken state. He took away her keys and she fell to the floor. "Help me up," Carly ordered but Craig wanted her to first admit that she had too much to drink. She finally did but also added, "I hate you." Carly started to lament losing control and went upstairs to rest. Jack showed up and got upset when Craig refused to let him see Carly. Craig told Jack to stop dumping on Carly but Craig also apologized for crossing the line with helping Parker. Jack refused to accept the apology and left.

Casey talked Ali into helping him repaint planters for his parents. She wanted to listen to her iPod for music but she realized she grabbed Emily's instead. Ali called Emily at the office and Hunter eagerly volunteered to make the exchange. Hunter headed over to the Hughes house where he encountered Ali and Casey. After giving Ali back her iPod, Casey got called away by Jade for help on one of their patients. After Casey left, Hunter asked Ali out but she said she couldn't because she's dating Casey. Hunter was surprised, then embarrassed but when he tried to leave, he accidentally dumped paint on himself and rushed away. Casey returned and Ali recounted what happened with Hunter.

Libby got upset when Janet told her that Parker quit school. "There is nothing you can do to help him," Janet warned but Libby called Parker. They met at the coffeehouse and she begged him to return to school. He scoffed at her concern and she called his behavior "dumb."
B Hunter returned to Emily's office and had to explain how he asked Ali for a date. Emily remembered that Dusty kept a change of clothes at the office and ordered Hunter to take off his shirt. He was having trouble unbuttoning his shirt and when she helped him strip, he kissed her. Emily pushed him away and told him never to do it again. He admitted to not doing well in social situations and she offered to help him on that. Ali then called and asked Hunter to join her and Casey for lunch. He agreed and Emily cautioned that her sister just wants to be friends. Hunter later approached the diner but he saw Ali and Casey kissing and walked away.

Carly came downstairs and thanked Craig for covering for her with Jack. She promised to get a handle on her drinking and watched as Craig dumped out of the bottle. She thanked him for his support and they kissed. After he left, Carly promptly took out a hidden bottle of vodka and started drinking away.
