Meg was terrified that she'd never see baby Eliza again. Damian assured her that she would. Lisa wondered if there was anything she could do to help, but Meg replied that she needed to take care of this by herself. She went to see Barbara and begged Babs to turn in Paul if she heard from him. "What do you want me to do?" Barbara asked. Meg replied that if she got Paul to bring the baby home, she wouldn't press charges. Barbara promised that she'd do what she could.... While on the run with Eliza, Paul spied Rosanna! He chased after her, screaming her name.... Lisa stopped by Barbara's place and Barbara admitted that she was worried about Paul. Paul then called his mother and he told her that Eliza was fine. He asked Barbara to help him. She warned him that the cops were looking for him. Paul argued that Meg was the one trying to take Eliza. Barbara begged him to bring the baby home. "I'm all she needs right now," he insisted and asked his mother to wire him a certain amount of money. He warned that if Barbara tipped off the police or cops, she'd never see Eliza again. After, Barbara filled in Meg, who was devastated. Barbara reported that he'd said Eliza was okay and that they shouldn't look for him. She promised to tell Meg if he called again. Lisa believed Barbara was hiding something.

Janet was concerned about Parker quitting school, but Jack wasn't sure they could change his mind. Meanwhile, Craig told Carly that he could do something about Parker. Craig suggested to the others that Parker go in for family therapy. Jack didn't think it was a good idea, but Carly supported Craig. She called Parker downstairs, but he stated that she needed the help, and not him. She disagreed. He accused her of being a lousy mother and an alcoholic. Carly tried to stay calm and said that she stopped drinking. Parker didn't believe her and taunted her. After, as Carly searched for her keys, she spied a bottle of booze in the kitchen... and fixed herself a drink. Later, Jack and a reluctant Parker went to the therapy session, but Carly was a no-show. Carly tried to drive to the session and was pulled over by a cop. He asked her to walk for him, to determine if she was drunk, but she came up with a bunch of excuses, explaining that she had allergies and her shoe heels were uneven. He didn't buy it and gave her a breath test. Meanwhile, Janet searched for her. She called Craig and asked if he'd heard from Carly, but he hadn't. He and Janet looked for her in her home; they saw the empty bottle and realized she'd been drinking.

Paul followed Rosanna into an organic food store and finally came face-to-face with her. He couldn't believe it was her, but she confirmed it. "You're in a coma," he said, disbelieving. "I woke up," she shrugged. Paul wondered why she hadn't returned to Oakdale. "I decided not to," she explained. Paul was angry with her for not telling everyone that she was okay. He softened when she admired Eliza. "She looks like Meg," Rosanna noted. They went for a walk by the farm where she was staying. Paul didn't think being on a farm was her "speed." Rosanna explained that she lost her money in the recession, courtesy of a Ponzi scheme. She was proud of her work in the food store and stated that she doesn't want to go back to Oakdale. Paul agreed that he didn't want to either, which surprised Ro. "I thought you and Meg were happy," she said. Paul evaded the question, then said he and Eliza needed to get going. Rosanna assumed that he was taking her home to her mother. In Oakdale, Damian and Meg implored Lisa to get information out of Barbara about Paul. Lisa assured them that she'd give it her all.... Rosanna asked Paul not to tell anyone that he saw her. He agreed to keep it secret. "It's like you got a second chance at life; I'm really happy for you," he stated before driving away with the baby.

Carly begged the cop, Barry, not to arrest her, then asked if she could make one phone call. She called Craig and asked him to meet her at the police station because she was involved in a "huge misunderstanding." She implored him not to tell Jack. After, Janet questioned Craig about what was going on, but he told her to let him handle it ‹ and to not call Jack.... At the therapist's office, Parker insisted to Jack that he's not returning to school. Jack wondered what he'd do with his life. "Anything I want," Parker replied. Later, he returned home and found Janet waiting for him. He wondered where Carly was and why she missed the session; Janet assured him that everything was fine. Parker suspected that something was amiss and stated that his mom's sick. Janet demanded that he show Carly respect. "She deserves whatever she's gonna get," Parker seethed.... Craig met up with Carly at the station and asked if she was drunk. She denied it and was furious that "By The Book Barry" took her in. Craig was disappointed that she'd been drinking; she begged him to get her out of there before Jack found out. Craig reminded her that Jack's a cop so he was sure to find out and noted that she could lose her license. "Whose side are you on?" Carly spat. Craig promised to make some calls. Jack soon arrived and confronted her. "What the hell were you thinking?" he snarled.
