At Memorial, Alison told Casey that she was getting the Most Improved Student award at graduation. Did Casey want to celebrate by going to Java? Nah. He shrugged it off and then ran off with a mischievous glint in his eye! He made a beeline to Emily's office. He wanted to do something celebratory with the Stewart women. Despite the awkwardness, Emily agreed to do something for her sister. She'd make the reservations at the Lakeview and everything! Ali ran into an uncomfortable Hunter at Java. When Hunter came back to work, a harried Em was on her way out to arrange for dinner. Hunter didn't understand why Emily didn't want to involve Alison's father. Em popped back in before dinner to check on some articles and Hunter proudly told her he'd ordered a present for Ali online: "I tracked down Dr. Larry McDermott!" "You what?!" Em dubbed Larry a "deadbeat loser." Hunter apologized, saying he'd wanted to do something nice for Ali. Em told Hunter he'd done enough, hoping that Larry just wouldn't show up. At the hospital, Casey picked up a protesting Alison and carried her off. He brought her to Fashions to buy her a new dress. Casey thanked his grandma for the "family discount" and then helped Alison come to terms with being happy for once. At the Lakeview, Emily raised a toast to her little sis and then wondered why Hunter had arrived. He offered to "stand guard" if Larry showed up and she said that was "weird and creepy." Casey and Alison watched the argument with amusement and confusion and then Ali invited Hunter to join them. Of course, that's exactly when Larry arrived! The blood drained from Ali's face as Larry congratulated her and moved to give her a hug.

Paul called Barbara, asking her bring the cash he needs to a private airfield and warning her not to sell him out. Damian visited Meg, hopeful that Barbara would lead them to Paul and Eliza. Back out in the boonies, Rosanna was surprised to see that Paul hadn't gone home to Meg. He asked her to watch Eliza for a few hours. She demanded he 'fess up and he swore to tell her when he got back. At the Lakeview, Lisa asked Babs if she'd heard from Paul and, Barbara stonewalled her. Lisa eavesdropped on Barbara's driver saying they were headed for the airport. She called Damian ASAP, who related the news to Meg. They rushed out the door. Later, Barbara arrived at an airfield with the money but Paul spotted a lurking Meg and Damian and freaked. He hung up on Babs and tossed away his phone. Barbara blasted Meg and Damian for ruining her efforts to gain Paul's trust. Meg accused her of wanting to help Paul get away with Eliza. Barbara bitterly noted they'd scared Paul off. Damian and Babs convinced Meg to head back to Oakdale and tell the cops. Meg and Barbara argued about choosing between Paul and Eliza and Damian tried to referee. Paul went back to pick up Eliza. Rosanna told him she didn't need his explanation but he admitted he has nowhere to go. "We're divorced," he blurted out of him and Meg. "Please don't tell me you kidnapped this baby!" Rosanna sighed. Paul explained his take on the custody situation and Ro noted how nuts he sounded. He asked her to let them stay with her. Later, Barbara gave Lisa a talking to for spying and Meg updated Damian on the cops searching the airfield. Meg feared Paul would do something drastic and Damian comforted her. Back in the country, a wary Rosanna wondered if Paul was playing her and told him she couldn't help him.
