A wounded Margo came to in Riley's arms and he went back to calling her by her first name and not "Mom". Casey showed up and jumped to the wrong conclusion upon seeing his injured mother. Casey raged that they all know that Riley assumed the identity of a dead soldier. Margo intervened with the news that Riley is actually "your brother." Riley, really Adam, realized that Margo had actually heard him calling her mom. "It's true, Casey," Adam confessed. The paramedics arrived and whisked Margo to the hospital. The police questioned "Riley", who gave details about Col. Mayer shooting Margo. When the cop asked for Riley's name, he responded that he was Riley Morgan. Casey and "Riley" went to the hospital, where Margo was scheduled to undergo surgery. Tom arrived and checked on his wife, who explained how "Riley" saved her life from Col. Mayer. "He deserves our thanks," a woozy Margo said before being wheeled off to surgery.

Damian called Luke to sign some papers concerning his foundation. Luke left Noah alone and Noah was then confronted by his very much alive dad. Col. Mayer explained that he came back because he missed his son. Noah saw that his dad was bleeding from a bullet wound, but Col. Mayer refused to go to a hospital. Instead, he begged his son to take him somewhere else to talk. They returned to Col. Mayer's hideout at the army base, where he hoped they could be close again by going on the run together. "Help me make amends," Col. Mayer begged but Noah urged his dad to turn himself in. Instead, Col. Mayer wanted Noah's help to leave the country.

Luke found out that Noah didn't show up at Java then came across his bag in Old Town. Luke went back to Damian and asked if any Grimaldis could be causing trouble again. Luke called Casey, who revealed that Col. Mayer shot Margo. Luke shared his fear with Damian that Col Mayer has Noah. Damian suspected that Lt. Hasbro was helping Col. Mayer. Damian called Lt. Hasbro and pretended to be providing an escape for Col. Mayer but needed papers proving his identify. Damian was surprised to learn that Col. Mayer had a companion that would need an exit, too, and Damian agreed to meet at the docks.

"Riley" and Casey went to Java, where "Riley" explained how he knew no one would ever forgive him for his past sins. "Riley" said he was doing volunteer work in Afghanistan when he was involved in an explosion and was given a different face after plastic surgery. Adam was then accidentally identified as Riley Morgan so he didn't correct the mistake. Now, he just wanted the chance at a new life but Casey was angry about the ruse and stormed away.

Casey returned to the hospital, where Margo was waking up and Tom left to thank Riley. When Casey was alone with his mom, Margo said she didn't want Tom to know the truth because she will have to arrest Adam. Casey wasn't happy. Meanwhile, Tom thanked "Riley" for saving Margo's life and the men went into Margo's room where Tom asked what Casey and Margo were talking about.

At the docks, Lt. Hasbro showed up but realized he was being set up and bolted. Damian and Luke apprehended Lt. Hasbro, who confessed where Col. Mayer was. Instead of calling the police like sensible people, Damian and Luke went to the abandoned army base and spilt up to search for Noah and Col. Mayer. Luke was the first one to find the men and Noah pleaded with his boyfriend not to call the police. Damian showed up and Luke pushed Noah to do what's right. Noah then called the police, which upset Col. Mayer.
