As Hunter packed, Emily tried to convince him to stay. When he refused, Emily blurted that she is his mother. Not surprisingly, Hunter was shocked and Emily explained how she donated eggs so her mother could have a child, Alison, with Larry. The rest of her fertilized eggs were transferred to the University of Chicago, where one was implanted in Aurora. Hunter refused to believe Em, who presented DNA test results to back up her story. Hunter finally accepted the truth and realized to his horror that Ali is his sister.

While searching for Hunter, Ali encountered her dad at Worldwide. He became concerned when his daughter admitted to being in Hunter’s room, so Larry wanted to know exactly what happened. Ali explained how Hunter had kissed her, but Larry was relieved to hear that it didn’t go beyond that. Larry then asked his daughter to move to Chicago with him, but she wanted to find Hunter first. Emily showed up and after Ali left, she lit into Larry for his lies. He finally confessed he was in love with Aurora and trying to help her have a child. He wanted the secret to “rest in peace,” but Em said it was too late.

After dinner, Rosanna observed how Carly was too subservient to Craig and demanded to know what was going on. Carly assured that Craig has been helping her out during a stressful time. Rosanna then took Parker shopping for a suit and Craig worried about the state of his relationship with Carly, who said everything was fine.

At the farm, Sage informed her dad and Janet that she wanted to leave for camp tomorrow. Jack realized that Sage was intentionally trying to miss her mother’s wedding. Jack and Janet took Sage home, where Carly learned of her daughter’s plans. Carly got upset that Sage wanted to leave before the wedding and accused Jack of manipulating the situation. Carly then screamed at Sage to go to camp and the girl ran out of the room. Jack insinuated that Carly’s out-of-control behavior was due to her drinking problem, just as Rosanna and Parker returned. Carly railed how everyone was turning against her and declared that the wedding was off. She then stormed out of the house and Craig followed to calm her down on the porch. She still wanted to get married, but fretted that Sage hated her. Sage approached and Carly tearfully apologized. Carly offered to drive her daughter up to camp after the wedding and Sage agreed. Once she was alone, Carly took out her stash of vodka and took a healthy swig. After, Carly called Jack to apologize and make sure he is coming to the wedding. He reluctantly agreed. Meanwhile, Rosanna was convinced something was wrong with her sister but Craig refused to admit anything.

Ali tracked down Hunter at Java and he recoiled when she touched him. Ali said there was still a chance for them but he said they could never be together. He announced they are siblings and explained all the details. Ali was stunned and wanted Hunter had to stay, but he insisted that he was in love with her. She assured him they could adjust, but Hunter still walked out. Ali found Emily and revealed that Hunter thinks he is in love with her. Em freaked, especially when Ali said that Hunter has gone.
