At Java, Luke revealed Noah was off dealing with his father's transfer to a maximum security prison and Casey admitted Riley Morgan isn't going anywhere. At Chez Hughes, Adam told Tom and Margo he was ready to earn his keep — maybe with a career in law enforcement! Tom said he'd be a natural fit, given his military experience. Margo was a bit wary, especially when Tom urged her to give Riley a tour of the Oakdale PD. Alone, Margo reminded her son he couldn't be a cop because it required a background check. Well, he wanted to do something positive with his life! Back at Java, Casey kvetched about how Margo had accepted Riley and suggested Luke be the one to tell Tom Riley is a phony. When self-serving Casey pointed out Riley could still be a danger to Noah, Luke immediately agreed to drop the dime. He found Tom at Lakeview and told him about seeing the real Riley Morgan's photo. At the station, Adam and Margo talked about Hal and his legacy and the importance of keeping Adam's identity a secret. Then, Tom came by to tell Margo about Riley being an imposter. Margo tried to cover, pointing out Casey has an ax to grind. But then Tom revealed he'd had a photo of "real" Riley faxed to the OPD. Sure enough, it wasn't their Riley. Adam explained how he'd been horribly burned in Afghanistan and underwent plastic surgery. He even opened up his shirt to show them burns on his chest. Tom could empathize, given his experiences in Vietnam, and apologized for his suspicions. Afterwards, Margo confronted Casey about using Luke for his own ends and begged him to find a way to get along with Adam. At home, she told Adam what happened. He urged her to go rest and then gave Casey a talking-to.

Looking positively wrecked, Carly helped herself to some coffee. She claimed she'd been up working on her wedding dress. Rosanna wanted a peek and Carly put her off. Then, a beaming Craig stopped by to get Carly to help pick their flower arrangements. Carly volunteered Ro's services. Once alone, Carly unearthed more hidden vodka, slugged it, and headed out. Craig and Rosanna went over to Margo's with lovely white flowers. Margo teased her brother and then headed out with Adam, leaving Rosanna to question Craig about Carly's odd behavior. He reminded her that he loves her sister and then asked her to check in on Carly. The lush in question made a trip to Fashions. She bought a wedding dress and ripped off the tags! When Rosanna walked into the Milltown house, she showed off "her" design. Ro admired the detail, marveling at how it had been done in 2 days. Carly handed over her credit card so Ro could buy a bridesmaid dress for the ceremony and Rosanna asked her to come shopping with her. Once in Old Town, Carly made excuses. Inside Fashions, Rosanna was shocked to see the exact dress Carly had "made." Outside, Carly snuck some booze and ran smack into Craig and Parker. She trumped up excuses to leave and Craig sent Parker with her. Craig then told Rosanna Carly had instructed him to pay for Ro's purchase. "She was covering her tracks," Rosanna realized, telling Craig that Carly bought her wedding dress at Fashions and hadn't wanted to go back in. Something was very, very wrong. Craig tried to deny it, but then Rosanna found the dress tags stuffed under a sofa cushion. Craig kept making excuses and Rosanna called him out. "Let it go," he urged before rushing out on a business call. Later, Carly came home and Rosanna confronted her. Carly went on the defensive, which just made Ro even more suspicious. Carly was literally saved by the bell when Craig called her to meet at Metro. Alone, Rosanna found one of Carly's bottles, and then another. And another. And another. (Rather like Harry Potter's Hogwarts letters.) At Metro, Craig surprised Carly with a romantic set-up and told her she's the most important thing in his life next to his kids. He got down on one knee and proposed with a proper ring and a gorgeous speech. Carly said yes and kissed him, clutching him like a lifeline.
