ATWT WEEK OF JULY 27, 2009 RECAPS
Week of Monday, July 27, 2009
Wednesday, July 29, 2009
Tom was once again put off by the playfulness between Margo and Riley and made a vague comment about Riley overstaying his welcome. Tom suggested he could get a job as a paralegal in a friend's law firm for Riley. Upon hearing that it would be Milwaukee, Margo turned it down. She took Tom outside and demanded to know what's going on. Tom affirmed it was time for
Riley to go and that he was leaving tonight. Still, Margo was against the idea but Tom wouldn't give in. She then shooed Riley out of the house so she could think of a way to keep him from leaving town.
Casey invited Ali to the best seats for a concert in the park. Even though she had just come off a double shift, she agreed. Casey then surprised Ali with lounge chairs and a cooler of sandwiches on the hospital rooftop, where they could hear the concert. They started to make out but were interrupted by a call from Margo, who wanted Casey to come home right away.
Teri turned down Craig's job offer to help Rosanna babysit. Craig suggested that Teri be a nanny until Carly gets back and then maybe she will hire Teri to work at Metro. Teri agreed to the arrangement but Rosanna wanted to discuss it with Jack first. She was peeved when Craig informed Sage about her new babysitter.
Janet was disappointed that Jack didn't want her to accompany him when he approaches his kids about moving out to the farm. Jack assured he only wanted to go solo because Sage may be a hard sell. Jack went over to Carly's house and Craig announced that he hired a nanny for Sage and Parker. Jack shot that down, even after meeting Teri. Sage showed up and was upset that she was moving out to the farm sans Teri. After Jack and Sage left, Teri decided to cab it out to the farm so she could give the young girl her phone number.
Casey returned home, where Margo begged him to change Tom's mind about Riley. She made herself scarce while Casey tried to convince his dad not to send Riley away. Tom revealed that Riley's behavior around Margo has become "inappropriate." Casey assured that Riley only reminded Margo of Adam. Casey then tipped off Margo that Tom thinks she and Riley are lovers. After Casey left, Margo assured her love for Tom and he agreed to let Riley stay.
Riley met up with Ali at Java and she worried that Margo wanted to discuss Ali with Casey. Riley assured that he was the source of the problem and Ali advised him to stick around Oakdale. Casey arrived and privately told Riley that he doesn't have to leave but also shared Tom's misconception.
Jack brought a melancholy Sage to the farm. She went to her room and Jack explained her moodiness to Janet. Later, Sage was excited when Teri showed up and Jack accused her of stalking his daughter. Janet was shocked when she came out and saw Teri. "She's my baby sister!" Janet announced.
