Brad worried how Liberty can afford to raise a child. Janet suddenly appeared, declaring that everything is taken care of, because, "We found a couple to adopt the baby!" Brad was stunned as an ecstatic Janet explained that Uncle Ralph's lawyer found the couple, and Liberty is meeting them in an hour. At the Lakeview, Paul and Emily got the good news that they can meet the mother of their prospective child. Emily privately wondered how they got approved with their shady records, and Paul admitted he lied on the application. She appeared appalled, but noted, "I'm on board." At the farm, Jack found Liberty and Parker getting ready to meet couples. Jack didn't want Parker going, but she insisted, and Jack relented. After the kids left, Janet returned, and was shocked that Parker went with Liberty. She resolved to go to the meeting (and Jack tagged along). Meanwhile, Brad also decided Liberty needed him (and Katie tagged along). At the meeting site, Liberty worried about being judged by the adopting couple. Outside Al's, Emily was nervous about being judged by a teenager. Then Janet (and Jack) arrived to "support" her, followed by Brad (and Katie). While they all argued, Paul and Emily walked in. Catching sight of them, Jack declared, "No way in hell!" backed by Brad. He and Jack chronicled just a bit of Paul's litany of evil. When Paul and Em asked Liberty for her input, she fled. Paul called the Snyders judgmental and "far from perfect." At Al's, Parker told Liberty that Paul befriended him when Carly ran off with Simon. She said she wanted to hear from Paul and Em, so they went to Wildwind. When Parker asked Paul why he kidnapped Eliza, Paul said that when he and Em lost their baby he became overprotective. But he's changed now, thanks to seeing the trust in his daughter's eyes. Emily told Liberty that having a hysterectomy was a mistake. She confessed hasn't always been a good mother, but would be the best she can be. Back home, Brad was glad the adoption didn't happen, and resolved to take his daughter to the the clinic himself. A fuming Katie stomped off. At the farm, Liberty announced she has decided to give the kid to Emily and Paul, compelling a fuming Jack to stomp off. Back at Wildwind, Paul and Em celebrated with champagne.

Craig and Rosanna broke their kiss, and he suggested he was merely trying to shut her up. She flipped out and called him a "pig." He insisted he has evolved over the years, but she disagreed. Then he got a call from Maggie the sitter about Johnny being taken to the hospital. At Cedars, Johnny had a huge cut on his forehead. Craig blasted Maggie, citing Bryant's death in an accident. Rosanne broke it up, and he stalked off. Ro found Craig ranting about the doctor wanting to wait for a plastic surgeon, and calmed Craig. Johnny complained that his head hurt from coloring, so Ro suggested playing charades. She acted out a butterfly, then Craig pretended to be a grizzly bear — a bear that whispered his thanks. When the plastic surgeon arrived, he pointed out he can't use anesthetic because of the possibility that Johnny sustained a concussion, so Craig and Ro would have to keep Johnny calm — and hold him still. Craig was nervous, but Ro talked him into being strong for Johnny. As the doc went to work, Craig comforted his squirming son. Later, Johnny invited Rosanna to come home with them. Later, after a bath that got Rosanna's blouse wet, she prepped Johnny for bed by singing to him. While Craig put Johnny down, Ro started changing into another shirt, but Craig returned and spotted her. He turned away while she covered up, then he asked her to "Please stay." They sat on the couch, and she noted how she used to imagine them as parents handling a childcare crisis together. He praised her for being as strong for him as she was for Johnny. They hugged, and then kissed.
