Damian tried to talk down Eb, who had taken Faith hostage and held her at gunpoint. Damian offered to pay him, but it only angered him more. Lily freaked out when she came downstairs and distracted Eb while Damian tried to wrestle the gun away from him. Faith screamed and ran off to find Jack, at Lily's behest. Lily was knocked out and when she came to, Eb had been impaled on a fire poker.

Meanwhile, Maeve and Holden were still rejoicing the fact that they found the stash of money in Skaggs' cellar. They tried to escape by bashing the cellar door in with an old ladder but it didn't work. They shared a close moment as Holden checked out Maeve's injured hand. Then she asked him to make love to her, adding that she's afraid they're going to die there. He urged her to stay hopeful and said he's still in love with Lily and graciously declined. Maeve worried that they'd never see each other again once they escaped; he told her that's not going to be the case.

Craig called Rosanna out on asking Teri to work for her just so Ro won't be tempted to give in to her desire for him. Ro laughed at the notion and explained it was for protection and demanded that Craig stay away from her. Ro stormed off and Teri asked Craig what they were arguing about.

At the Snyder Farm, Brad was not on board with the idea of Janet raising Liberty's baby, pointing out that it would be confusing to everyone in the family and would mess with Lib's head. They argued about it; Jack kicked them out. They went to Al's to talk about the issue more but agreed they'll never see eye to eye on the matter. Janet explained she's just trying to do what's best for everyone. Brad stormed out; Janet worried that he'd tell Lib about the plan.

Jack showed up to see a frightened Lily while Damian recalled what had happened with Eb. Jack looked through Eb's pockets and asked to have his license checked to figure out who the man is. Later, they found a photo of Eb's wife, Maeve from a church newsletter. Jack quickly connected the dots.

Brad went to Metro and asked Teri to talk to Janet about the baby situation and talk some sense into her sis. Janet was outraged when she saw the duo conferring and wondered if Teri is on Brad's side. Teri said she just wants what's best for Lib and isn't certain this is the best option. Janet pleaded her case again; Brad surmised she just doesn't want to let her little girl go.

Craig went to visit Carly and was stunned to see Rosanna departing. He angrily grabbed her by the arm and demanded to know if Ro told Carly that they'd slept together. She refused to answer and walked out. Later, Ro came to Craig and admitted she didn't say anything to Carly. He was shocked and said he knows that Carly will leave him when she finds out the truth, but admits he just can't stop thinking about Ro. They locked eyes and agreed not to sleep with each other again, but quickly fell into a passionate kiss and had sex.

Faith was still spooked when she returned home. She thanked Damian for saving her and Lily. Damian said he didn't kill Eb but tried to distract him, which his when he fell on the fire poker. Jack also returned with the news that Eb is a grifter from Kentucky and that it's likely the same guy trying to get ransom money from Lily and that it's unlikely they even had Holden at all. Jack said he still believes Holden is dead. Later, Jack returned home and was depressed when he realized that Holden, his best friend, is gone. "I don't know what I'm going to do without him," he admitted to Brad.

Back at the cellar, Maeve and Holden tried to break the lock again and the roof of the cellar collapsed on Holden. Meanwhile, Lily thanked Damian and said she needs him. They kissed and he asked her to marry him, adding that there's nothing stopping them now.
