Damian and Lily were announced husband and wife just as the front door swung open and Holden entered. Everyone was shocked, including Holden, who explained he was kidnapped and shared a happy reunion with his family (despite the circumstances). They all put the pieces of Holden's disappearance together. After greeting his children, Holden gave Lily a passionate kiss, much to Damian's chagrin. Lily said Damian held the family together during his absence. He was angry when he realized that Lily had wed Damian. Lily told Damian that she needs to be with Holden and so he departed. Lily and Holden decided to talk things through upstairs. Holden was outraged and demanded to know whose idea the marriage was. She tearfully explained that she was certain he was gone and devastated and needed a reason to move on so she relied on Damian. Holden apologized for laying into her and told Lily that Damian preyed on her. When he asked if she loved Damian, she couldn't deny it. Holden was hurt and said he wants to be alone.

Luke went to tell Jack and Meg the good news. Later, Noah finally showed up. He explained to Luke that he had car trouble, but didn't mention he was with Mason. Luke was happy to see him and told him that Holden is back, but his mom and Damian are still married. They went to Java. Luke surmised his mom would get the marriage annulled. "Note: If I die, you're not allowed to meet anyone for like 30 years later!" he joked. Mason arrived and told Noah that he got a confirmation on the location, blowing Noah's cover. Luke wanted to know why Noah didn't mention he was with Mason before. Later, when Mason tried to give Noah relationship advice, Noah demanded he stay out of it.

Meg found Damian having a drink at the bar. She was obviously elated regarding Holden's return. Damian was miffed and didn't want to chat with Meg about it. He apologized for hurting her in the past but said he still wants to make it work with Lily. She urged him to let it go but was surprisingly supportive. Before he left, he made a point of saying he's happy for her family that Holden is alive. Later, Meg asked Lucinda about Holden and was eager to see her brother. Lucinda balked and said she's surprised Meg's not more interested in consoling Damian instead.

Jack came by to get the scoop on Holden from Lily, who said she's having trouble figuring things out because he's angry and won't talk to her. So, Jack went to find him. Holden asked Jack to find Eb; Jack explained that Damian killed him. Holden was stunned and obviously exhausted so Jack urged him to get some rest but he was still angry about the situation with Lily. Meanwhile, Lily left to find Damian. She told him that things have changed now that Holden is back and she regrets moving on with her life so quickly when she knew all along that he was still alive. Damian kept her from leaving and pulled her into a kiss. Lily pulled away and said she's staying with Holden.

After cleaning himself up, Holden shared a sweet moment with Faith, who was surprised to hear that he's going to try and work it out with Lily. After, Renee from the Kentucky hospital called Holden to tell him that Maeve needs his help.
