Holden spied Damian planting one on Lily through the cabin window but walked off before Lily pulled away, insisting she wants to work things out with Holden. "Let Holden go once and for all," Damian pleaded. Back at the Lakeview, costumed Maeve gave some candy to trick-or-treaters and opened the door to Lucinda — who wanted her to leave town! Big Lucy told Maeve that Holden and Lily were reuniting at that very moment and Maeve needed to take her "surrey with the fringe on top" and leave. Lily admitted she loves Damian but noted "there's more to love than passion." She never would have committed to Damian if she'd thought Holden was alive — he's the love of her life. So she still wants an annulment! Meanwhile, a betrayed Holden let Maeve in to his suite and explained he'd seen Lily "draped all over" Damian. Maeve offered him a shoulder...and more! Holden pulled away, turning her down gently and offering to go get some sandwiches. A distraught Lily's car wouldn't start and Damian offered to drive her back to town. When Lily got to Holden's suite, she found Maeve there and assumed the worst! Holden ran into Lucinda in the restaurant and told her that he and Lily are "officially over." When he went back to his suite, Maeve told him she'd let Lily assume they slept together. She urged him to make a clean break from Lily and "never look back." Back at Lily's house, she told Damian things wouldn't work out with Holden and Damian comforted her and urged her to be with him. Heartbroken Lily hated how dependant upon the two men she'd become. "I'll be alone," she decided. Damian convinced her not to annul yet. Maeve wished Holden luck and went off to live her life (and give back the stolen money).

Henry came in to Metro to swill some booze and found Teri all tied up. Meanwhile, in Dusty's suite, gun-toting Ralph menaced him, wondering how fast he could make his getaway. Dusty took a precious minute to snag his cell phone and left Margo a message. He lied to Ralph that he was making sure the getaway car was en route. As Ralph prodded him out, a trick-or-treater raising some funds knocked. Dusty generously offered to write the boy a check. Back at Metro, Teri explained to Henry that Dusty is helping Ralph flee and they decided to call the cops. At the Lakeview, Margo warned Teri to stay away from the situation, since it was a police matter. When Ralph came out of the elevator with Dusty, Margo pulled her gun! Dusty broke free, and then Ralph grabbed a hostage. Unlike Jack, Margo did not shoot the human shield. She called for backup and pursued on foot! Meanwhile, Teri freaked out to Dusty and they sniped back and forth. Henry watched Katie's OAKDALE NOW broadcast at Yo's and then tackled Ralph when he showed up. Ralph easily knocked Henry away. Margo showed up to neutralize the thug and Mirandize him! Meanwhile, Henry was feeling a little concussed and fuzzy...especially when he saw Brad!

A despondent Katie let Margo in. Margo gently suggested she go back to the hospital to be near the baby...or at least see him. Katie snapped at Margo that the baby was fine in NICU. Then, Kim stopped by with some food and a big hug for Katie. She told Katie they're doing a special OAKDALE NOW episode dedicated to Brad, noting how much everyone had adored him. Alone with Margo, Katie wept about her baby never knowing his father. Her sister reminded her that she could tell her baby all about him, reiterating that the tiny boy needs her! When Katie went to freshen up to visit Memorial, Henry called Margo about Ralph. Margo left to deal with it...and Katie flipped on the OAKDALE NOW episode for a second and then headed over to the set. Kim spoke movingly about celebrating "this wonderful, boyish man," and during the commercial break, Katie told her she wants to go on air. She talked about falling in love with Brad as they worked together and the best gift Brad ever gave her: their baby. When she broke down, Kim led her off stage. Katie realized she'd stopped living when Brad did and rushed home. She tore down all the baby shower decorations she'd kept up and wept.
