At ghost Brad's urging, Henry approached Katie who was still mad and blamed Henry for her husband's death. Henry pleaded his case and explained that he's seeing Brad's ghost and that he's right there beside him. Brad was excited and eager to make Katie realize Henry isn't lying. She couldn't see him, however, and called Henry selfish and cruel for suggesting something so absurd. Brad refused to give up and warned Henry that he'll be haunted until Katie changes her mind. Later, when Katie had returned home, Brad entered the room. She stopped short, hoping to sense his presence. She didn't and broke down in tears; Brad tried to touch her but it didn't work.

Meanwhile, at the diner, Dusty was surprisingly empathetic as he consoled Janet, who was still grieving Brad's death and upset that Jack just up and left her after the shooting. "I can't believe I'm taking family advice from you," she laughed. Later, Teri was also still reeling from what had happened with her and Ralph. Dusty told her not to feel sorry for herself for not realizing Ralphie was a creep. They bonded and Teri offered him a free meal.

Jack arrived in Philadelphia and encountered Ben Harris, who is now running a food bank. He was overcome with emotion when he saw two young boys fighting and couldn't help but be reminded of him and Brad when they were kids. He didn't tell Ben about Brad's death. Jack was embarrassed and rushed out; Ben followed. Then they saw a man dressed as Ben Franklin on the ledge of a nearby roof with the cops surrounding him. He was about to jump. Ben chatted with the cops and learned that the guy on the roof was an attempted bank robber who lost his cool. Of course, Jack stepped in and wanted to help; the local authorities gave him the brush-off so he started to leave. Ben urged him to stay and talk things over, but had to take a call. They parted ways. When Ben Franklin yelled that he's jumping, Jack jumped into action anyway.

In Craig's hotel room, Carly lashed out at Craig and Rosanna for having an affair. Ro apologized; Craig explained that since he never heard from her when she was in rehab he assumed that she was rethinking their relationship. She was upset and railed at Craig for not coming to ask her permission. She was also outraged that Parker got involved. When Ro brought up the fact that Jack knew about their affair, Carly was struck. Then she stormed out. Ro broke down in tears; Craig comforted her and said he'll do everything to make things work out because he still loves Ro and only Ro. They agreed to take things slow until things smooth over.

Carly went to go find Jack at the farm, but Janet informed her that he skipped town. Carly groused to her that practically everyone in town knew about Craig and Ro's affair and didn't tell her; Janet was miffed and chided Carly for being insensitive about others' more troubling situations. Janet said she can't run after her hubby because of Liberty. Carly was shocked when she learned Jack was drinking when he shot Brad. She left.

Jack sneaked up to the roof and tried to talk the jumper down, explaining that he used to be a cop and is just as messed up as the jumper. They shared a moment about not being the men they thought they were and past life regrets. Jack seemed surprised to have so much in common with the criminal.

When Rosanna came home, Carly promptly threw her out. Craig tried to talk some sense into Carly, who threw his belongings out as well. After, Carly got a call from Ben and explained that he saw Jack and he's in trouble.
