At Fairwinds, Hunter and Ali showed up for tea. A nervous Emily told them she wants the four of them to be more of a family and asked them to move in! Neither of them were hot on the idea. When the kids left, Paul comforted a crushed Emily. At Al's, Maddie noted she and Casey never really had a chance to be together without outside influences. Could they give a reunion a go? Casey was sure he wanted to try, so Maddie agreed to stay in town. Emily insisted to Paul that she's cursed and he said they'd try again, offering to steal a whole litter of babies. At Al's, Maddie returned having taken a leave from Wesleyan and Casey reiterated he was okay with it. Ali and Hunter watched them canoodle. Then, Emily pulled Hunter away to talk, leaving Casey to admit to Ali that he and Maddie were back together. Shocked Ali realized Casey was willing to give up Maddie to be with her again. "I still love you," he said. He assured Ali he can change but she gave him leave to go "do whatever with Maddie." Meanwhile, Hunter vented to Emily about Casey and Maddie and she gave him a quick tutorial in the "art of seduction," noting that he is, after all, her son. Too bad blood doesn't tell in this case! Dorky Hunter caught up with Maddie and awkwardly asked her to make out. She boggled at him and walked away. Back at Fairwinds, Paul wondered if Em regretted marrying him. Maybe she'd be happier with a "teacher or a cobbler." "I want you," she assured as they kissed. A studying Casey flashed back on making love to Alison while Alison headed down to the hospital basement for supplies — and encountered someone in the dark!

Craig suggested a newly homeless Ro move into his Lakeview digs with him. She was horrified, noting Carly would never forgive her. Craig said he'd ask her again in due time and hoped she would accept. In Milltown, Carly told Ben everything that Jack had been through. He was glad he'd called her for the update. Up on the roof of City Hall, Jack told Ben "Irv" Franklin how he'd shot his brother and left his kids father-less. Jumping was starting to seem like a good idea, he noted as he peered down. Carly left Jack a voicemail as Parker came in, worried about how she was taking the Craig/Ro reveal. She assured him she's in charge of her life now, so Parker went on to worry about Jack. (And also dropped the Liberty/miscarriage update.) Carly noted it was their turn to look after Jack. She headed to the Oakdale PD, where she learned Jack had resigned. The guys turned on a news report showing the jumper situation in Philly and she bolted out. Up on the roof, Irv and Jack bonded over their predicaments. Back at the Lakeview, Ro called Parker asking about his parents. She told Craig that Carly followed Jack to Philly and the worried duo immediately rushed out in pursuit.

In Philly, Carly was desperate to find Jack, who urged Irv to jump off the roof with him. He grabbed the costumed man and they took the leap. Down below, Carly informed the frantic cops that one of the men was her ex, Detective Jack Snyder. Jack and Irv had actually jumped onto another portion of roof, and the experience had woken Irv up to life being worth living. Irv gave the money he'd stolen back to a cop and was escorted off the roof. Jack learned from the cops that Carly is looking for him and he quickly walked off. Nearby, Craig and Ro caught up with Carly, telling her they'd heard on the radio that both men got off the roof safely. She thanked them and told them, "Now get the Hell out of my sight." Craig followed Carly, reminding her that Ro is her sister and she yelled at him (rightfully so) and stormed off. Ben caught up with Jack, noting he'd saved a life today and urging Jack to take that and go forward with it. The Philly cops told Carly that Jack had vanished and she asked them for a favor. Piqued by Ben's advice, Jack asked if he knew of Mike Kasnoff's whereabouts. Ben said he'd heard South Carolina. Jack thanked him and headed off. Nearby, a gleeful Carly had Craig and Ro arrested!
