Holden and Luke prepared for Holden and Lily's vow renewal ceremony outside the house. Luke questioned Holden about how he knew Lily was "the one" and Holden told Luke about how they fell in love. Inside, Lucinda confided to Lily that she wasn't feeling so well but she would get through it. Faith and Natalie ran into the room after getting into Lily's makeup. Lucinda took them upstairs to take off the makeup, Luke took off to get ready, and Holden and Lily smooched. They later exchanged heartfelt vows in front of family and friends. Holden vowed to never take Lily for granted again, and a sobbing Lily said she was so lucky to have her family and will make every moment count. (A cute moment was when Lily said Holden was a great kisser and Faith covered her ears.) After the ceremony, Lucinda told Luke the girls were going to be after him soon, then caught him chugging some champagne outside. Luke lied and told her it was ginger ale.

Emily and Meg literally ran into each other at the Lakeview and Emily commented on the medical supplies that spilled out of Meg's bag. Meg said that neither one of them wanted to talk to the cops and Emily wondered what Meg was implying then ran off. Emma came upon Meg and Meg said she wasn't going to Holden and Lily's ceremony. Meg said she didn't want people judging her and Emma told her to stop feeling sorry for herself. Emily found Susan at the hospital and demanded that Susan file a report that Meg stole medical supplies from the hospital. Susan urged Emily to make amends to Jennifer (and to stop barking at her mom).

Jennifer and Dusty got ready for Lily and Holden's ceremony with Johnny. Jennifer said it felt like the three of them belonged together. They went to Holden and Lily's and were kissing when Meg showed up. Meg walked out and Emma followed her. Meg told her she shouldn't have come and took off. Dusty thanked Lily for inviting them while Jennifer talked to Jack about a missing Paul. Dusty and Jennifer returned to the Lakeview, and Emily told Jennifer how sorry she was. Emily added that Paul dumped her on the phone — and Jennifer revealed she was the reason Paul broke it off.

Carly showed off a dress she made to Jack and they discussed how funds were low for all of the things their family needs. Carly said Barbara offered her a job but Jack was suspicious. Jack hoped Nick would screw up on the job so Hal would need him back. Jack mentioned he might do construction for Mike's company. Carly blamed herself for Jack's unemployed status and wanted to help, but in a throwback to the '50s, Jack told her not to worry about money and just continue being there for the family. Carly and Jack went to Lily and Holden's ceremony and Carly mentioned she would like her and Jack to renew their vows.

At the police station, Hal told Nick that he was working on the Paul Ryan case but Nick said he should work on it instead. Hal scolded Nick on his arrogant ways and reminded him that he was boss. Hal eventually gave him the case and told him he better see results in a hurry. Nick called Emily with questions about Paul. Jack showed up at the station and wanted to work on the Paul Ryan case. Hal told him that he just gave the case to Nick. Meanwhile, Nick showed up at Jack and Carly's and said he needed Carly's help.

An injured Paul grabbed the cell phone and wondered where Meg could be. In a hallucination, Emily showed up and shot him again. He took some pills then imagined Jennifer was coming at him with an ax. Paul called Meg and said Emily and Jennifer were trying to kill him. She told him he was hallucinating, then he passed out. Paul then dreamed that Emily and Jennifer were back at the cabin so he ran outside. Meg returned to the cabin and searched for Paul, who was unconscious under a snow drift outside.

What did Dusty tell Jennifer to say when he was taking her picture?

Holden celebrated his new beginning with Lily by giving her a new carved kitty. Then Lily told her hubby-to-be it was okay to invite Meg to their wedding. Elsewhere, Meg showed up at the cabin Paul’s hiding out in and whined about the many ways he was ruining her life. She mended his bleeding wound and ordered him not to leave the cabin. She was worried about how his wound looked and informed him he needed stronger drugs. Then she got a call from Bob wanting to see her at the hospital. She was certain she was getting her job back. When Meg arrived at the hospital, Susan had to break the bad news that Bob wasn't able to save her job. Her license had been suspended and she couldn't work in the state anymore. Understandably upset, she turned to leave, but ran into Holden who invited her to his wedding. When she said no, Holden assured her she could get past her current troubles. Right after they said goobye, Meg stole drugs from the hospital. "It's too late to come back, Holden," she sighed.

Alone at the cabin, Paul heard voices. When he opened the door to see what was going on, a gunshot rang out and Paul hit the ground. Turns out they were deer hunters and Paul wasn't shot. However, one of the hunters saw the smoke from the chimney (before Paul had a chance to put it out) and wondered who was in the cabin. When they got to the cabin it was locked and Hunter B accused Hunter A of seeing things. Paul was lucky and they split to go find more deer. Unfortunately that's where his luck ended. He was bleeding again. "Damn," he muttered, as he remembered Meg's warning about death being probable if he started bleeding again. He tried to reach for the phone, but was suddenly too weak.

Dusty, Jennifer and that cute little babbling baby discussed their future. (Well, the baby didn't do much discussing, but you get the point.) Dusty wanted Jen to move in with him, but she didn't want to rush things. She wanted to date and have fun for now. Though Jen was hesitant, she allowed Dusty to keep Johnny while she ran errands. Later, Dusty showed up at Lily's looking for Lucinda. Lily assured him Lucinda would be back later, in plenty of time for the wedding. Dusty was grateful (and surprised) that Lily was marrying Holden again. He (like everyone else!) didn't understand the whole Keith thing. While discussing the wedding, Jennifer showed up with a dress for LIly. "You followed us!" Dusty laughed. When Holden returned home, the tension in the room was apparent. "There's something we need to clear up," Holden began. He tried to discuss Meg, but Dusty clearly didn't want to do that. Instead, Lily and Holden invited Jen and Dusty to their wedding. The twosome agreed, obviously not minding they were only invited because Meg wasn't going to come.

Emily showed up at the hospital to bring Susan lunch. When Emily told her she was about to go to Paul’s apartment, Susan stopped her. Susan was afraid Paul might be there and the trouble that could cause for Emily. "He's not coming back," Em assured Susan. When Susan continued to talk about Paul, Emily stormed off. This prompted Susan to call Hal. When Emily returned to Paul's apartment, she was troubled with many flashbacks of her time with Paul. Just when you thought she was officially losing her marbles, Hal showed up and had harsh words with her. Hal was suspicious of her behavior and warned her that helping out a fugitive was against the law. Later, Emily literally ran into Meg, causing Meg to drop all of her smuggled medical supplies right there on the floor!

Holden arrived at Lily's house and Lily was happy there was nothing stopping them from being together now. Holden said they still had some unfinished business — and dropped down on one knee and proposed. Holden wanted them to renew their vows tonight and Lily agreed. Lucinda arrived and they shared the happy news with her. Holden left to get the kids from the farm. Lily asked Lucinda to give her away at the ceremony. Holden brought Luke and Faith back and they told them the news. Faith asked to be the flower girl and the women ran off to prepare. Holden told Luke that after everything that had happened, Luke needed to talk to someone. Holden then asked Luke to be his best man. Lucinda later reminded Luke he needed to take care of himself and they celebrated Lily and Holden's news.

Katie and Mike cuddled at the cottage and talked about Nick and Henry, and then vowed to spend time alone, just the two of them. While they got amorous, Nick showed up at the door and told them that he got evicted. Jack arrived to see how Katie and Mike were doing. 'It's a party day at Katie and Mike's. Come on in," Katie said as she welcomed him in. Jack wondered how Nick could do his job when his living situation was so uncertain. Nick asked to crash at Mike and Katie's until he finds a new place. Jack told Katie he was back part-time at the station. Mike had to take off for the Lakeview and Jack tagged along. Nick asked Katie how close Mike and Jack were and Katie revealed that Mike was once involved with Carly. Nick wondered how Mike came between Jack and Carly. Katie told him that Jack and Carly are the happiest couple she knows. At the Lakeview, Mike felt bad that his cousin took Jack's job and revealed Nick was wild and angry growing up. Mike returned home and Nick interrupted Katie and Mike making out on the couch. When he started playing his electric guitar, they realized why he was kicked out of his last place.

At the police station, Hal barked orders about finding Paul when Will arrived and told him that Barbara is trying to blackmail him — Will would get his trust fund if he dumps Gwen. Hal said he'd try to talk to Barbara, when she flew in on her broomstick herself. Will accused Barbara of being out of control and Hal tried to referee. Will realized he couldn't count on either of them and stormed off. Barbara said she wanted Will away from Gwen and that Will shouldn't be living and working at Burt's Garage. Hal said there was nothing she could do about it, and Barbara huffed off.

Gwen interviewed for a job at Java. Carly showed up and tried to give Gwen a recommendation, but Gwen told her to stop. The manager excused himself and Gwen blasted Carly for ruining her job interview. Carly said she wanted to help. Gwen revealed that she can't have children thanks to what Carly did to her. Gwen said the concussion from her fall in New York affected her pituitary gland and it won't produce hormones, which means she can't get pregnant again. She added that since she had a blood clot years ago, they can't give her hormones to correct the problem. Carly was speechless. She then pleaded with Gwen to let her help her but Gwen refused it. Carly said she wouldn't turn her back on Gwen and took off. The manager turned Gwen down for the job. Hal tracked Will down at Java and hoped they could find some middle ground. Will said he didn't care about the trust fund and Hal was concerned about Will getting a job at Burt's Garage. Gwen came upon their argument as Hal said Will was hiding behind Gwen instead of going out and getting what he really wants. Hal took off and later at the station, ran a check on Burt Miller. Gwen told Will that she didn't get the job at Java and that Will's too good for a job working on cars at Burt's Garage. Gwen tried to push him away by telling him to go back to his mom, but he chased after her and told her that he is happier than he's ever been and they embraced. Barbara tracked Carly down at the hospital and offered her a job. Carly guessed that Barbara wanted her to keep Gwen away from Will but Carly insisted that she wasn't interested.

At the hospital, Gwen pressed Dr. Schiller on why she couldn't get pregnant. Dr. Schiller said Gwen's pituitary gland was injured in New York when she fell down the stairs in the park, and that can affect the reproductive process. Dr. Schiller was called away and Will reassured Gwen they would make the best of the news. Barbara came upon them and freaked when she thought Gwen was pregnant again. Will told Barbara that Gwen wasn't pregnant, and Gwen revealed she may never be able to have children again. Barbara apologized and said maybe it was for the best as they weren't ready for a baby. Gwen insisted she was a good mom to Billy and will be a good mom again someday. Dr. Schiller returned and Gwen went to schedule a follow-up appointment with her. Barbara couldn't believe Will was ready to start a family and said she would grant him access to his trust fund if he broke up with Gwen. Will angrily turned her down as Gwen returned and she and Will took off.

Henry showed up at the police station and asked new hot-shot cop Nick if there were any leads on BJ. Nick wondered what his true motives were. Henry said he was just concerned about his friends and family if BJ returned, but Nick reassured him that he will track down BJ. Nick mentioned BJ took a lot of money out of the bank before he left and if BJ spends any of it, he will be tracked down.

Maddie was shocked Casey kissed her and told him she didn't want to be another notch in his bedpost. Casey didn't know why Maddie was making such a big deal of a kiss. She took off but it was apparent both of them were affected by the kiss. Maddie met up with Henry at the Lakeview and said she needed to get out of the Hughes house because of Casey. Henry said there was little chance BJ was going to come back for the money but Maddie urged him not to spend the money. Henry told her it was going to take a while to find a new place for them and she said she'd try to put up with Casey for a bit longer. She took off and Henry called to get into a poker game where the entry fee was $50,000. Maddie returned home and told Casey she wasn't moving out and he apologized for kissing her.

Carly met up with Jack at the Lakeview and told him that Hal wants to see him at the station. Carly was still ticked that Nick has Jack's job. Jack went to the station and Hal caught him up on Paul's case. Hal told Jack that he hasn't been dismissed from the department but his old job isn't available and the best he can offer him is a part time job. Carly showed up at the station and found Nick. She told him to not get too comfy at Jack's desk and blasted him about his ego. Jack and Hal came out of the interrogation room and Carly's bubble burst when she found out Jack was only hired back part time. Jack went to grab a box of his things and Carly warned Nick that Jack's part time return was only temporary. As she was pacing in front of his desk, Nick asked Carly, "Are you this annoying to everyone or just me?" She declared she knew his kind — arrogant showoffs — and hoped to be around to see him fall.

At Java, Emily insisted to Hal that she didn't know where Paul was but Hal said she seemed scared about something. Emily told Hal to let Paul go. Hal said he wouldn't let a fugitive jump bail and warned Emily that if she helped Paul, she will go to jail, too. Hal took off and Emily told her mother that she didn't help Paul escape, but that they'd never see Paul again. Susan wondered how she could be so sure and Emily flashbacked on shooting Paul. She told Susan that Hal wasn't her savior anymore. Susan left and Emily broke down. Susan showed up at the station and told Hal she believes that Emily doesn't know where Paul is and called Hal on his desire to get back together with Emily. While having a drink at the Lakeview, Emily had a vision of a shot and bloodied Paul and freaked out.

Paul was stunned that Meg clued Dusty and Hal in about the baby switch. He kicked over a table and declared that her sudden attack of conscience made her life as bad as his. Meg told him to keep his money and go to hell. Meg then threatened to tell the cops about the shooting and Paul begged her to leave Emily alone. Paul pointed out he was loyal to Meg by not turning her in to the authorities for her role in the baby switch when he got arrested. Meg insisted she wanted to rebuild her life and went to leave. Paul reminded her that she took an oath to help people and he'll die if she leaves him there. Paul offered her more money and said that if they are caught he will say that he forced/threatened her to save him. Meg still went to leave and Paul collapsed. Paul came to and was relieved Meg was still there. Paul gave her money for medical supplies and Meg warned him not to double-cross her or she'd send him to jail.

Keith went to the airport and booked one-way flights to San Diego for him and Lily. Back at the Snyder farm, Lily was shocked Holden was going to sign the divorce papers. He said they couldn't put the kids through this anymore — she either had to stay or go. Lily said she had to go — she couldn't go back on her word to Keith and risk Luke getting sick again. Lily couldn't sign the papers but Holden said he was done pushing and fighting for them. Holden challenged her to tear up the divorce papers, then Keith called. She took the papers with her and left. Luke showed up and Holden told him that Lily was gone. Holden insisted that Lily leaving wasn't his fault and that if Lily wasn't back soon, she was gone for good. Lily arrived at the airport and showed Keith the divorce papers. Keith was thrilled but Lily told him that she wanted her freedom and he was the only one who could give it to her. Keith said she couldn't back out of her promise but she said she couldn't leave her family. She said if Keith ever loved her, he'd let her go. Keith said she could go — or keep her word. Lily obviously left Keith as she walked through the door at the Snyder farm. Luke ran to her and hugged her, then Holden and Lily embraced.

Casey showed Maddie all of his University of Wisconsin stuff, including a photo book of all the students. Maddie said she couldn't go away for school and leave Henry, then they got in a pillow fight. Tom and Margo showed up, Maddie took off and Tom and Margo told Casey he won't be going to Wisconsin. They added it would be best for him to go to Oakdale U based on his recent behavior and it was the only school they'd pay for. Casey lashed out but Tom and Margo reminded him about Gwen and the baby. Tom and Margo said the decision was final and he stormed out. Tom reassured Margo about their decision as she feared Casey wouldn't forgive them. Tom told her Casey will come around.

At the hospital, Gwen finished up her doctor's appointment and told Will she had to wait for some test results, including the sonogram. Will wondered if she could be pregnant now. Gwen said she had some symptoms and vowed that this pregnancy was going to be different from her last one. She wanted to discuss something with him so they took off to Java and she revealed that if she has a boy, she wants to name him William Munson, Jr. — after Will. While Will went to get drinks, Maddie re-introduced herself to Gwen. Maddie told Gwen she was sorry about the baby. Casey came upon their conversation and freaked out, blaming Gwen for him not being able to go to Wisconsin. Gwen said she was sorry things didn't work out but he blew her off and ran out. Maddie thanked Gwen for being nice to Casey, and took off after him. Casey returned and kicked Margo out of his room, then ripped up a University of Wisconsin poster. Maddie found him on the roof and she tried her best to make him feel better. Maddie said that at least now they'll get to see each other more and she would have missed him if he went away. Casey then kissed her. Meanwhile, Gwen and Will returned to the hospital and Dr. Schiller told them that not only is Gwen not pregnant but the odds are that she'll never be able to get pregnant again.

Emily screamed when she saw Paul through the cabin's window. Emily went to open the door, but the sound of Meg's car approaching scared her off. Paul was relieved when Meg came into the cabin and told her to find out what is going on with Emily. Meanwhile, Emily showed up at the hospital and Susan remarked on how disheveled she was. Susan took her to Java and wondered why she was so upset. Emily said she was remembering Paul. Susan insisted Emily couldn't get back together with Paul and Emily replied there was no way Paul was going to be in her life again. Hal arrived and said Paul wasn't in his apartment and no one has seen him since he phoned Emily. Hal told Emily he thinks she knows where Paul is. Emily said she hadn't seen Paul since last night and Hal insisted she was lying. Back at the cabin, Meg demanded that Paul treat her with respect and went to leave, but Paul warned her that she was going to land up in jail for stealing medicine and helping him. Meg laughed and said Paul had no idea what she has already done to him. She revealed she was the one who brought Paul and Emily down.
