ATWT Recaps Week Of Feb. 20, 2006Friday, February 24, 2006 Maddie got herself a coffee at Java and recalled Margo's warning about her and Casey staying away from each other. Casey showed up and Maddie reminded him that Margo threatened to throw her out if they hang out together. Casey said Margo would forget about the whole thing in a few days, and he's glad he's not going to the University of Wisconsin anymore because he'd rather stay with her. Margo showed up and asked Maddie if she knew where Casey was. Maddie said she didn't and agreed that she and Casey are nothing more than friends. Margo took off and Maddie ran over to a disguised Casey in the corner and they kissed. The manager of the Galaxy Club told Carly to start dancing, but Nick snuck her into the backroom and told her she couldn't do it. Carly told him to back off but he showed her that Jack was in the club. Carly begged for Nick's help and listened to Jack questioning the manager. Jack went to look around so Nick told Carly to go out the back door. Katie wondered what Nick was doing there and the manager and Anatoly asked Nick how he knew Katie and if he also knew Jack. Nick said he had never seen Jack before but revealed that he and Katie were once an item. Nick picked a fight with Jack, who hauled Nick outside. Katie followed them outside, where Nick asked Jack if he was trying to blow his cover. Jack said they got a disturbance call that he had to check out. Then Nick blasted Katie for following him. Katie took off and Jack wondered what was really going on at the Galaxy Club. Jack told Nick they would talk about the case later with Hal and took off. Nick then snuck off behind the back of the club. Nick showed up at Carly's and told her that the coast was clear. Nick thought it was a shame they weren't working undercover together and took off. Carly then looked at a phone number scribbled on her hand and said she was doing everything for Jack. Dusty got physical with Paul after he saw him alive at the Wagon Wheel. Paul told Dusty that Jennifer understands what he's done, knows he's alive and is on her way over to see him. Paul maintained that everything he has done has been for Jennifer and he was going to make everything right. Dusty said he wasn't going to let that happen, and they'd be a family again over his dead body. Dusty threatened to call the cops, and vowed to protect Jennifer from Paul. They struggled over the phone and ended up in a fistfight. Things got nasty and the hotel room was trashed. Dusty went out the window to call the cops, and Paul followed him with his cane in his hand.
At the Lakeview, Jennifer had a flat tire and called for a car. While waiting she came upon Meg and slapped her. Jennifer demanded answers about Madame Lacoste and Paul, revealing she knew Paul was alive. Jennifer blasted Meg for hurting her twice and couldn't believe Meg was so blinded by her obsession with Dusty that she did all of these bad things. Meg realized that Jennifer and Dusty would never forgive her. Jennifer warned Meg that Dusty will never stop trying to get back at Meg for hurting Jennifer. The hotel attendant told Jennifer her car was waiting, but the sitter showed up with Johnny and Jennifer decided to take the baby with her. Jennifer showed up at the Wagon Wheel and found Paul's room in disarray. Meanwhile, Dusty found a pay phone outside when someone came upon him. He turned around and with a surprised look on his face said, "You?".
Thursday, February 23, 2006 At the Wagon Wheel, Paul put his Mr. Pollack disguise back on and told the manager he was checking out. Meanwhile, at the Lakeview, Dusty demanded that Emily tell him where Paul was right now. Emily faltered so Dusty began to doubt her. Emily said that Paul wasn't going to be appropriately punished by the police and warned him that Paul will insert himself back into Jennifer's life. Dusty wondered what Emily was getting at. Emily said Dusty needed to make sure that Paul stayed out of Jennifer's life, permanently. She then revealed Paul was at the Wagon Wheel. As Emily had a drink, she envisioned Paul sitting next to her and she told him to go to Hell and that he was getting everything he deserved. Jennifer had Madame Lacoste hauled into the police station for questioning and demanded to know if Meg hired her. Madame Lacoste was flustered with all of Jennifer's questions about Meg and said Meg was sent to her by the real person who hired her — her brother, Paul, who is alive. Jennifer doubted her but Madame Lacoste said she was telling her the truth. To prove it she brought up a childhood memory of Jennifer's that only Paul would know. Jennifer then called Paul, who revealed himself to be alive and asked if she was okay. Jennifer said she was coming over and promised not to tell anyone he is alive. Paul said he wouldn't leave and Jen took off. Paul started taking off his disguise and flashbacked on all the things Paul did to her. There was a knock at the door, and Paul opened it thinking it was going to be Jennifer, but it was Dusty. Meg showed up at Lily and Holden's and Holden told her that Lily is pregnant. Meg then revealed she was leaving town tonight because she's done things she's not proud of in Oakdale. Holden tried to talk her out of it and blamed Dusty. Holden promised her that her family wouldn't turn their backs on her, no matter what she did. Outside the house, Kevin surprised Luke with tickets to a concert, but Luke said he was still grounded. Jade showed up and Luke introduced Kevin to his new cousin. Kevin thought Jade could be their cover for going to the concert. Kevin's ID fell out when he gave Luke the tickets, and he took off, saying they could have those two tickets and he'd buy a ticket at the door. Luke came in and Meg told him and Holden goodbye. Jade and Luke asked to go to the concert and Holden gave them permission to go, but wondered if Kevin was going to be there. Luke lied and said Kevin wouldn't be at the concert and he and Jade took off. After they left, Holden found Kevin's ID outside.
Wednesday, February 22, 2006 At Java, Casey came upon Maddie breaking up with Nate and got the wrong idea. After Nate walked away, a hurt Casey confronted Maddie and she revealed she broke up with the guy. Margo's call interrupted their kiss and she demanded they come to the police station immediately. At the station, Margo blasted them for helping Gwen and Will. They apologized and said they were just trying to help their friends. Margo said that they weren't a good influence on each other so they had to see less of each other. Maddie tried to take the blame, and Margo said if something like this happened again, Maddie would have to move out. After Margo left, Casey vowed to Maddie that they would still be able to see each other and they finally kissed. Barbara showed up at Hal's to explain what happened with Will and Gwen while he was away. Will and Gwen showed up and confronted Barbara on the true reason she dropped the charges against Gwen — the tape. Hal apologized to Gwen and Will for not being there for them and Will asked him if they could move in with him. Hal said he shared Barbara's concerns and wanted education to be their main concern, which wouldn't be possible if they lived together. Barbara insisted Gwen was with Will for his trust fund. After Will and Gwen left, Hal yelled at Barbara for her actions and kicked her out. Gwen and Will apparently had enough money for expensive coffee — so they sat at Java and talked some more about how much they loved each other and how everything would be okay. Will said they needed to be taken seriously — so he asked Gwen to marry him. He professed his love and she accepted. Emily tracked Dusty down at the Lakeview and told him that Paul is alive and someone needs to stop him before he gets away. Dusty doubted her but she said she had seen Meg and Paul together. She revealed that Meg nursed Paul back to health after Emily shot him. Emily said that Paul needs to suffer the way the rest of them have suffered and warned Dusty that Paul is coming after Jennifer next. Dusty wondered why Emily didn't just finish the job in the first place. Emily told Dusty she could take him to Paul right now. Meanwhile, Meg returned to the Wagon Wheel and Paul with the new passports so they could go to Canada and then disappear from there. A tearful Meg struggled with leaving town and told Paul to leave her once they got to Canada. Paul did his best to reassure her and they hugged. Paul revealed to Meg that he would be disappointed if they went their separate ways. He leaned in to kiss her and she spilled water on him. They laughed it off and planned to leave town. Meg said she had to say goodbye to her family before they left and Paul promised her everything was going to be fine. Meg took off and while packing, Paul found a photo of Jennifer.
Tuesday, February 21, 2006 Jade and Lily returned from shopping and Jade gave Lily an outfit for her baby. Lucinda showed up, saw the outfit and assumed Jade was pregnant. Lily said Lucinda she was off base — Lily is the one who is pregnant. Lucinda was thrilled for Lily and Holden, and apologized to Jade. Jade went to the kitchen and Lucinda demanded that Jade take a DNA test. Jade came back into the room and Lucinda hit her with a bunch of questions. Jade said she didn't like to talk about her adoptive parents. Then a letter arrived for Jade — from Rose. While Lucinda was suspicious, Lily read aloud the letter, which told her child to be strong. Lily was clearly touched hearing from Rose and said she could "hear" her sister in that letter. Meanwhile, Lucinda and Holden examined the letter and feared Lily was getting conned. Lily sent Jade upstairs and insisted that the letter wasn't fake. Lucinda took off and Lily asked Holden to drop his suspicions. He said he would — for now. Katie wondered why Nick was home late and if he was working on a case. She got even more suspicious when she found Carly's wedding ring after Nick's coat fell to the floor. At Java, Carly lied to Jack and said that she must have left her wedding ring in the bathroom at the school. Jack wanted to accompany her back to look for it, but he got a call and had to leave for work. Carly left Nick an urgent message saying she needed her ring back. Meanwhile, Katie pressed Nick on why he had Carly's wedding ring. He said he found it in his car after he gave her a lift home. Katie demanded to know what was up with Carly. Nick said there was nothing going on and asked Katie to return the ring. Katie showed up at the Snyders and it was a battle of the blondes. Katie told Carly to leave Nick alone. Carly said that she couldn't stand Nick, then Katie showed that she had Carly's ring and if she wanted it back, she'd better tell her the truth. Carly tried to spin her story, but Katie wasn't buying. Things got testy and Carly lunged for Katie to get the ring back. They were struggling over it as Jack came in and wondered what was going on. Carly had grabbed the ring and slipped it on behind her back while she spun some wild tale about running Katie off the road. Katie played along and took off. Jack told Carly that Barbara had dropped the charges against Gwen. Jack reminded Carly that she was like her sister — a trouble magnet. Katie returned home and told Nick about her fight with Carly, and said she doesn't buy that Carly hates him and that there isn't anything going on between them. Nick was clearly amused and Katie demanded that he stay away from Carly.
