ATWT Recaps Week Of December 11, 2006Friday, December 15, 2006 Out shopping, Faith saw Holden laughing and kissing Tea on the cheek. Of course, she couldn't know that Holden was praising Tea's dancing skills! At the farm, Luke and Jade discussed Faith's new horse and Jade's lack of prowess as a rider. Crabby Faith came home and told them Dad was buying her off. "I saw him, Luke, in town with another woman! Merry Christmas!" Jade admitted she'd seen Holden with another woman, too. (Of course, Holden and Lily were actually cutely plotting tangos.) Being an expert on homewrecking, Jade gave Luke her spin on Holden's situation. When Holden called to tell Luke they had news, Faith automatically assumed the worst. Lily and Holden came home and the gang realized Faith and her horse were both AWOL. Luke and Jade revealed Faith's suspicions. Gasp! Holden bolted and then returned with dire news: "I found the horse, but I didn't find Faith."
At the station, Barbara dosed Dusty with another round of Lucy-and-Johnny paranoia. Elsewhere, Lucinda countered Craig shaking her by beating him with her purse (almost as priceless as Jill kicking Simon's knee). Margo burst in
on the scuffle and Craig announced that Lucy ran off with the baby. He told his sis to arrest Big Lucy. "For not liking you?" Lucinda snarked, denying she knew anything. Margo assured she'd investigate matters and they
carpooled to the OPD. Dusty and Babs argued, not realizing Lucy had flown the coop. That misapprehension was fixed when Craig burst in on them
demanding to know where Dusty had stashed his kids. Lucinda told both guys that Lucy had left everyone and "has no intention of coming back."
Margo decided to put out an Amber Alert as Barbara demanded Lucinda spill Lucy's whereabouts. Dusty asked Babs to go and then confronted Lucinda himself. Luce wasn't havin' it. Barbara went to Will's, where he said that
if Johnny wasn't found in a week, they'd sit down with Paul and plan. "Take a good look in the mirror," Lucinda told Dusty. "That guy is the reason why you can't have your son now." Barbara thought Will's idea was very sound and
then he updated her on Gwen's music career and his admission to Oakdale U. Later, a haunted Craig told Margo he'd just wanted a family while, in the
interrogation room, Dusty smashed the phone down on his just-healed arm so he'd be rushed to the hospital.
Thursday, December 14, 2006 Katie brought Carly's necklace to the OPD. "Tell me how you got that!" Jack demanded. Of course, Katie evaded. She just wanted to prove Carly and Simon guilty. At the science fair, Simon stayed close to a worried Carly, who suspected Katie broke into her house. "So what? She stole a fake!" Simon insisted as Sage admired her jewel-encrusted sun. No fool, Jack called "you little meddler," Katie, on her breaking and entering. As the gang argued over identifying the rock, Vienna walked up. Back at the fair, Simon wondered if Sage had taken her mom's jewelry. Dr. Bob made an "outta this world" joke that went right over Sage's head as Carly took Sage aside to question her. At the OPD, Katie was certain Vienna could back her up. Mike told his eager wife to "dial it back" for Jack's sake and then Vienna cried, "This is nothing but a knock-off!" Jack and Vienna both scoffed at Katie's wolf cry over the diamond. "Let this go," Jack warned Katie, who promptly turned on Vienna. Vienna denied she was in cahoots with Simon, insisting the diamond was really fake. Katie was convinced Simon and Carly were still in hot water. Meanwhile, Carly and Simon learned Sage's crystal and her bling looked alike. Uh-oh! They realized a homeless woman had found their thrown-away jewel — and it was now in Sage's science project! Mike pleaded with Katie to let this go because she sounded nuts. She broke down crying in his arms and he was visibly affected. As Carly and Simon twitched, Jack arrived to check out Sage's project. At Memorial, Bob gave Craig a clean bill of health, puzzled about Lucy's infection diagnosis. Suspicious, Craig left. Lucinda wanted to know why Lucy was going on the lam, so Lucy spilled the whole sordid Craig/Dusty bullet switch fiasco. "So you're going to be Joan of Arc?" Yup. But what was Lucinda going to do without her? "I'm doing this for Johnny!" Lucy cried. Lucinda relented and let her go. Returning to Fairwinds, Craig hollered for Lucy. She had some 'splainin' to do. Who he found was Lucinda, helping herself to his liquor. Lucinda made excuses for Lucy's whereabouts and snarked at Craig. "You're lying," Craig surmised. "You're right. I'm vamping," Lucinda informed. "Wouldn't you like to know why?" Craig wasn't havin' Lucinda's cryptic comments. He tried to guide her out and she told him, "You take what is pure in people and you twist it around," bringing up Sierra. "I loved her the best I could," he said of his ex. "I have earned a second chance." "You blew it," Lucinda snapped. Craig finally started to realize that Lucy had flown the coop. "Where the hell are my children?" High above on an airplane, Lucy snuggled Johnny. And Lucinda told Craig, "You will never see either of them again."
Wednesday, December 13, 2006 Iris tearfully told Gwen that Aunt Candice died of a heart attack in her sleep (Paul Ryan would be proud of you, Iris). Gwen leapt to keep Iris from hitting the nearest bar and advised her to visit AA. "Look at you, my straight arrow kid," Iris marveled, before letting slip that Will had "floated me some cash" as a payoff. Gwen brought Iris home with her and Will wondered whose bright idea this had been. Gwen promised it was just for one night, Will relented, and Iris simpered gratefully. Fortunately, Will wasn't havin' it. "This is a one-time deal," he warned her. Gwen laid down some ground rules for Iris and jetted. Left alone, Iris cranked up the tunes and searched the house. Later, Iris munched on chips and Will caught her looking at his papers. "Iris, get out now!" he cried. Margo showed up at Fairwinds for some sisterly sniping about Craig's bid for custody of Johnny. At the OPD, Dusty reiterated his desire to off his girlfriend's daddy. Naturally, Lucy wasn't thrilled. Before leaving, she assured Dusty she would do "the right thing," told him she loved him and asked Margo to keep her visit a secret from Craig. Emily came by to see Dusty next. "Every word out of your mouth is a stupid lie," he spat, as Em assured him she could help him. Back home, Lucy told Craig his wound was infected and he should go to Memorial stat! "For Johnny's sake," she wheedled, making Craig feel loved. The minute he left, she emptied out his safe. Emily admitted that Craig exploited her love for Paul. Duh, said Dusty, turning down her offer to testify on his behalf. "Who do you think's gonna help you?" she asked him. Back at the Montgomery manse, Lucinda caught Lucy trying to bolt with Johnny! At Memorial, Bob looked at Craig's wound and told him that he was fine. Lucy made excuses to Lucinda but ended up dropping her bag full o' money. "You're kidnapping Johnny!" gasped Big Luce. "Yes, I am," admitted little Luce.
Tuesday, December 12, 2006 Carly and Simon necked on her porch as Henry tried to get a gloating Katie the hell out of there. They hit the floor as Carly and Simon stumbled in the unlocked and open door. "Someone must have been here!" Carly cried. Simon dismissed her fears with some smooching on the sofa. They ran upstairs to close the deal, which freed a traumatized Henry and Katie to flee. "He is SO going to jail!" Katie groused, clutching the diamond. Later, Sage called and interrupted her mommy's romp to update her on her science project. Sage got the brilliant idea to use her crystal for the sun in their solar system — and Carly realized her necklace was gone! Outside the bookstore, Katie told Mike she had proof that Simon and Carly stole the crown jewels. She showed him the diamond but Mike was less than impressed. Carly and Simon tried to figure out where the shiny rock went and Simon reminded Carly that they'd tossed the real diamond in the river. It was just a fake anyway, right? Simon asked Carly to vow that she'd walk away if they did get caught. Instead of vowing, Carly concluded that Katie had taken the necklace. Katie asked Mike to come with her and see Simon arrested. "Alright," he sighed. Katie and Mike went by the OPD but Jack was out. Mike got twitchy at the prospect of waiting. "There is nothing to link us to the Prince's jewels!" Simon scoffed, but Carly couldn't help but feel weird. "It's all blue skies ahead," he assured, jinxing them. Barbara came to visit Dusty and told him that "Craig and Lucy took Johnny," while the Montgomerys arrived at a toy-filled Fairwinds. Craig didn't want Barbara getting too attached to Johnny. On top of that, he wanted to change the tot's name to Craig Montgomery, Jr. Eep! So, Babs was right to be fanning the flames of paranoia with Dusty. Lucy told Craig that the name change was disrespectful to memory of Bryant, his firstborn son. And "Jennifer named him," she reminded. Lucy's huffing made Craig question her loyalty. Dusty told Barbara he needed to keep her out of the shenanigans. "Help me by trusting me," he asked, telling her to lay off Lucy. When Lucy showed some backbone, Craig apologized and said he didn't want to lose his kids. Cassandra popped in to tell them that the judge was willing to overturn the adoption and grant Craig full custody. Gasp! "You're my family," Dusty told Barbara. "My son needs you very much." They hugged before a still-wary Babs left. At Fairwinds, Craig told Lucy he was sure they'd be a happy family. Lucy, in turn, promised Johnny she wouldn't let him turn out like her and Bryant. She rushed over to see Dusty and fill him in on Craig's nefarious plans. "Help me break out of here!" Dusty cried. He told Lucy he was going to finish what he started and "kill your father." (Just what every gal wants to hear!)
Monday, December 11, 2006 At the OPD, Mike pestered Jack about the diamond heist. "There is a line here, Mike, and you just crossed it," Jack snapped. At home, Carly took off her "hood ornament" bling and Sage wished her magic crystal could make Mommy happy (Hmmm, Sage's crystal looks exactly like the diamond!). As Simon called begging Carly for a chance to talk, the two shiny stones lay on the couch, primed for a mix-up. Later, Sage grabbed "her" crystal and ran for her study session. At Java, Simon admitted he admired Jack for having principles that he didn't. This honesty touched Carly, who blamed herself for forcing Jack to suspect the mother of his kids. Simon promised to go on the "straight and narrow all the way," and she forgave him. On the street, Vienna offered to cheer up a depressed Mike — so he asked her to call Prince Adolfo and tip him off about the heist. (She meant with sex, Mike.) Over coffee, Simon and Carly twinkled and made up. After Vienna made her call, she told Mike to 'fess up: He still loved his wife! Henry, still in costume, asked Katie for "one conceivable reason" why he should help with her scheme to steal Carly's diamond. "You don't want the reward?" Katie wondered. Suddenly, Henrykins was on board! Later, they lurked outside Carly's house as Sage's science project partner came to pick her up. After Sage and Carly both left, they commenced with the breaking and entering. After a whole bunch of arguing, they found the diamond right there in Carly's couch cushions. "Simon, you are so going down!" Katie crowed. Of course, that's exactly when Carly and Simon decided to come home for a little afternoon delight in a kid-free house.
