Taylor admitted to Alexandria that she was responsible for Darla's death. "It was very foggy," Taylor described. "I didn't have time to stop." Oops! "How can you love her?" Alexandria asked Thorne. After Thorne left to put Alexandria to bed ("I don't want to be the flower girl," she sighed about their upcoming wedding), Nick stopped by. Taylor broke down (melted?) in his arms. Nick tried to analyze her and Thorne's relationship, as if he was the therapist in this "relationship." Taylor stormed out to find Ally and Thorne. Ally had escaped from the house, however. Thorne called the police, as Taylor was driving over (in the fog! You know what that means...).

Nick to Jackie: "I think Taylor is marrying him (Thorne) out of guilt."

Stephanie went to visit Ann in Chicago, leaving Pam home alone with Eric. Later that night, Pam cooked Eric dinner and fixed all the buttons on his suit jacket. Eric was wary at first, but he appreciated Pam's efforts.

Before Stephanie left for Chicago, she paid Jackie a visit. They bickered some more about the Forrester Creations takeover. Stephanie warned that she's having her watched while she's away. Seconds later, Jackie went to the Forrester house and broke in, intent on seducing Eric. Pam startled her and wanted to get acquainted. Jackie demanded to see Eric, but Pam wouldn't bother him.

End of episode, Taylor almost mowed down Alexandria in the driveway!

Eric surprised Jackie with a visit. Jackie feared the worst and expected a browbeating for her prostitute past, but Eric showed her his tenderness and caring for her. Eric gave her a pep talk to lift her spirits. Eric apologized to Jackie for what his family did to her. Jackie thanked him but was beset by a migraine. As Eric dutifully fetched her medication, Stephanie arrived to needle Jackie and gloat over the re-taking of Forrester. Eric returned with Jackie's meds and exploded on Stephanie, dropping the bombshell that her scheme backfired and that Nick is now after them with a greater vengeance than ever. Stephanie and Eric ripped into each other as Jackie watched from the sidelines. Eric declared that Stephanie isn't capable of change. Stephanie left Eric behind with Jackie, who offered him her emotional support. After Stephanie was gone, Jackie's spirits lifted thanks to Eric's kind words. Jackie thanked Eric by speaking to him in a seductive tone and kissing him. Stephanie returned home and asked Pam for help where Jackie was concerned: "I need you to keep that whore away from my husband."

Alexandria grew upset when Hope insisted that Taylor killed Alexandria's mother, Darla. Brooke questioned Taylor on her feelings for Nick. Taylor insisted her interest in Nick is merely professional. Alexandria and Hope joined them, didn't want snacks and seemed upset. When Brooke and Hope left, Taylor asked Alexandria what was wrong. Alexandria said Hope told her something that wasn't nice. When Taylor quizzed her Alexandria asked to be excused to wash her hands. Thorne returned and told Taylor what Nick had pulled. Thorne expressed his regret and remorse for what happened, and offered a complete apology to Taylor, who happily accepted his apology and renewed her interest in marrying him. Alexandria had a flashback to Hope's bombshell and clammed up when she saw Taylor and Thorne kiss. Thorne and Taylor spoke to Alexandria in the hopes that she'd open up and tell her what Hope said that upset her so much. Returning home, Hope told Brooke what she had told Alexandria. Horrified, Brooke called to inform Taylor what Hope had told Alexandria, but Taylor hung up the phone before Brooke could warn her. As Taylor and Thorne gently pushed Alexandria, she finally told them that Hope told her Taylor killed her mother, as Taylor looked on in shock.

Nick painfully reflected on his ouster as Marone's CEO. Nick freaked out and Jackie tearfully apologized for everything that's happened. Nick burned his sailor's uniform in the fire as Jackie freaked out. Nick remained intent on closing that chapter of his life. Nick vowed revenge on the Forresters and called someone on the phone and asked for a meeting.

Thorne apologized to Taylor for his role in the press conference. Taylor admonished Thorne for what he did. Thorne told Taylor that they're about to buy back Forrester. The two weren't able to see eye-to-eye on what happened. Thorne told a frustrated Taylor they'd talk more about it when he returns. Taylor and Brooke debated what happened over coffee. Brooke tried to smooth over Taylor's ruffled feathers. Taylor concerned Brooke when Taylor didn't seem that concerned about her wedding to Thorne. Taylor questioned Thorne's integrity. All of Taylor's concern over Nick and Jackie caused Brooke to ask Taylor if something is going on between her and Nick. Taylor denied it but insisted she will continue to see Nick as his therapist. Brooke tried to tell Taylor she doesn't owe Nick anything.

Eric and Ridge prepared to meet with the Marone board to negotiate the repurchase of Forrester Creations. Eric thanked Ridge for their efforts to get the company back. Thorne joined them and expressed his worry about Taylor's anger over what happened. At Forrester everyone met with George to buy back the company, but were shocked when Nick arrived to drop the bombshell that he cashed in his Marone stock to buy Forrester Creations himself. A flabbergasted Ridge wondered how Nick could have afforded the company even with his stock proceeds. Nick showed them the door while Ridge vowed to make Nick regret his latest move and declared war on him. Thorne told Nick to stay away from his wife, while Nick taunted Thorne about Taylor and tried to instill insecurities in him. After Thorne left Nick called Taylor and told him that he needs to see her. Taylor told him she couldn't, but would call him later.

While coloring together, Hope spilled the beans and told Alexandria that Taylor ran over her mother and killed her.

Eric was stunned speechless when he saw the news footage at the Forrester fashion show, where Jackie was outed as a former prostitute. Ridge and Brooke explained to Eric how Stephanie pulled it off. Ridge told Eric they did all for him. Felicia arrived and said that the press was running amok on the property. Eric exploded on Ridge for using bad judgment in conspiring with Stephanie to pull off such a stunt. Ridge insisted that what they did is no worse than what was done to them. Eric expressed his disgust at everything as the press pounded on the door. Felicia summoned Thorne to help her and Ridge do damage control with the press. Felicia dropped the bomb on Eric that Thorne was in on the scheme. Taylor admonished Thorne and said that whatever happened between Nick and his family did not justify what they did to Nick and Jackie. Taylor questioned her relationship with Thorne since he kept her in the dark. Thorne insisted that has complete trust in her, but it's Nick he doesn't trust. Thorne apologized to Taylor, who begged that he and his family leave Nick and Jackie alone from now on. The press grilled Ridge for answers on why the family sold Forrester Creations to Nick and Marone Industries in the first place. After the press conference (which Thorne arrived at late but did participate in), Thorne expressed regrets at going too far once again. Eric emerged and expressed his appreciation for what everyone tried to do.

George admonished Nick for using Marone assets to pursue a personal vendetta against the Forresters, and charged that Nick should have never bought the fashion house in the first place. The board member said Marone had no choice but to sell Forrester Creations ASAP. Nick refused. George warned Jackie to "talk some sense into her son." Jackie wondered aloud what had she done to Nick and his life, and popped some pain pills. Taylor arrived to see how she could help, and offered Jackie and Nick her humble apologies. Jackie suggested to Nick that he give Forrester back. Nick vowed to go to his grave before he'd give the company back to the Forresters. Nick and Jackie tuned into the televised Forrester press conference. Thorne intervened in the press conference and spun that Nick reneged on a deal to sell the company back to them. Taylor was horrified that Thorne jumped in. Then there was a knock at the door. George returned to inform Nick that the board had convened in an emergency meeting and ousted Nick as CEO.

Soon after Ridge got a phone call from George, informing him of their decision to fire and replace Nick as CEO, and requesting a meeting with them tomorrow to negotiate the sale of Forrester Creations back to them. Eric, Felicia, Ridge, Brooke and Thorne rejoiced.

At the fashion show, Stephanie's revelation caused a spectacle for Jackie, who confronted Stephanie and warned her that her machinations could cost her Eric. Stephanie was unfazed. Nick freaked out on Kramer, who plead ignorance to Stephanie's plot. Nick called security and had Kramer escorted off the runway. Nick stood by and defended him against the onslaught of the media frenzy. Clarke came to and told Ridge he probably would have helped out in the plot if he had been given the chance. Members of the Marone board expressed their dismay to Ridge. He offered to buy back Forrester from them if they decide to sell the company. Jackie attempted to leave Forrester through the back door but the press trapped her there as well. Jackie returned to the runway, which was now empty, except for Ridge. Ridge taunted her and they traded barbs as Ridge downed a celebratory flute of champagne.

Taylor expressed her outrage to Ridge, then she exploded on Stephanie and accused her of betraying her. Stephanie insisted that she will protect her. Taylor said she doesn't care about her license or her career, she cares about what happened to Nick and Jackie. In turn, Stephanie called Taylor's loyalties into question. Taylor reached her limit and renounced their friendship and stormed out, leaving Stephanie speechless. Kramer then confronted Stephanie, and refused her offer to receive a payout. Kramer angrily accused her of being nastier than anyone he's ever encountered, and stormed out next. Nick then entered and had HIS turn with Stephanie. He vowed that his company would endure the scandal. Stephanie told Nick that Taylor had no part in this, but Nick seemed not to believe her, or care. Nick then confronted Taylor and Thorne, and accused Taylor of trying to pay back Thorne for killing his wife. Ridge and Stephanie rejoiced in their success, but Thorne threw a wet blanket on their party with his concern about Taylor. Stephanie apologized for involving him in their plan, and reassured him that Taylor would come around. Kramer met up with Jackie and tried to explain his motives and actions in the past. Jackie was having none of that, and slapped him. Kramer revealed to Jackie that he was married at the time he was with her, and that he really wanted more from her. He told her she was looking great, then he departed. Taylor chased after Nick and tried to explain what happened. Taylor apologized for making a mistake: letting her feelings for him become more important to her than her common sense. Taylor vowed to make things up to Nick.
