Brooke and Rick flew back to the U.S. in the private jet. Rick asked how his mom was and she answered, "numb." Brooke explained how all her love for Ridge drained out of her when he hit Rick. He reminded her how happy she was with Nick but Brooke said that he was now engaged to Taylor. "You and I know both know that he's not over you," Rick declared. "Just talk to him, Mom." As soon as she landed, Brooke jumped a limo and headed to Nick's house.

For their flight home, Brooke and Phoebe had to make do with a public airline (although they were both in first class). "You should be ashamed of yourself," Phoebe told Dad for hitting Rick but he wasn't very remorseful. "I did what I had to do, Phoebe," he insisted. "I'd do it again if I had to." Phoebe was surprised to learn that Brooke had returned her engagement ring but Ridge hoped that they would patch things up once she "cools down." He refused to believe that their relationship is over.

Jackie anxiously asked Donna if she had heard anything about Ridge and Brooke. Donna answered no but asked why Jackie now seemed hesitant to break them up. Jackie pointed out that Nick and Taylor were in love and trying to have a baby. They both hoped that Ridge hadn't seen the e-mail that looked like Rick got a hotel suite for him and Phoebe. After Jackie left, Donna was startled by Ridge's sudden arrival. "Where's Brooke?' he asked but when he realized Brooke wasn't there he ran out the door.

Nick and Taylor woke up and he said he wasn't going into work so they could continue to work on their baby project. Taylor was paged so she went downstairs to call her office. Jackie walked in and offered her support to a surprised Taylor. All smiles, they went into the kitchen to have coffee and talk. Brooke showed up and crept upstairs to Nick's bedroom where he was shocked to see her. After recounting how Ridge assaulted Rick, Brooke drew Nick into her arms. "I'm back and I'm yours," she cooed into his ear.

Ridge and Phoebe tried to wake up an unconscious Rick. He finally came to and Ridge offered to help, but Brooke told him to stay away. When Ridge accused Rick of seducing his daughter, Phoebe pointed out that they were only in robes because they had just been in the hot tub (she even disrobed to show Dad that she was still in a swim suit). Ridge ordered Rick never to come near Phoebe again. She ran out of the room in tears and Rick chased after her. "How could you do this?!" Brooke fumed, asking, "What kind of man are you?" Ridge tried to defend himself, but it was all in vain. Brooke said she would never forgive him for assaulting her son and removed her engagement ring. "I don't want to be your wife, Ridge," she sobbed. "I can't be your wife ... not after this." Despite Ridge’s declaration of love, Brooke wouldn't change her mind and left. When she was alone, Brooke collapsed in tears.

"I've got the preacher on the speed dial," Nick noted to Taylor, who wanted to wait until her children could be present for their wedding. Nick agreed and they retired to his place so they can get down to procreating. As a shirtless Nick stoked the fireplace, Taylor emerged from the bathroom in a va-va-va-voom nightie. "You're a blessing," Taylor purred to her stud. Nick swept her up in his big strong arms and carried her to the bed. After having sex, Taylor said they needed to keep trying, but before they could resume, he fantasized about having a son. Taylor got him back on track and they started mauling each other again.

With exotic music playing in the background, Phoebe ran and ran and ran ... then ran and ran and ran some more through a beautiful park with a shirtless Rick following. When he finally caught up with her, Rick professed his undying love and they kissed. "This is just the beginning," Rick promised.

Nick welcomed Ashley to his office. "It sounds intriguing," she said about his request for a meeting. He then offered to pay Ashley double what the Forresters are paying if she worked for him. Taylor showed up and Nick introduced his fiancée to Ashley. Without finishing their meeting, Ash left and Taylor announced that "the timing was perfect" for making babies. After Nick canceled the rest of his appointments for the day, he took a puzzled Taylor to a chapel. "I'd like to marry you here and now," he announced.

Phoebe teased Rick about the surprise she had planned for him. They entered the party at the Forrester Originals boutique and were besieged by photographers. Ridge introduced Brooke, Rick and Phoebe to the press. Phoebe announced Forrester Originals's new signature fragrance named after her. While Ridge was giving a speech, Phoebe and Rick slipped away but Ridge soon realized they were missing.

Donna declared to Jackie that her secret plan to get Rick and Phoebe to give into their feelings should soon be a success. Jackie balked because she now believed that Nick was really done with Brooke. "He's in love with Taylor," sighed Jackie. The hotel in Sydney called Donna to confirm that Phoebe and Rick had arrived at the honeymoon suite. Donna then gave instructions that an invoice of the room charge be immediately e-mailed to Ridge. After hanging up, Donna revealed the details of her plan to a conflicted Jackie.

Phoebe escorted Rick to the honeymoon suite and after donning bathrobes, they started making out. Meanwhile, Ridge received the hotel room invoice on his PDA and assumed Rick lured Phoebe there. He charged into the suite and found Rick and Phoebe in bed together (although they hadn't made love yet). "You bastard!" Ridge growled. He grabbed Rick and hit him. Rick fell to the floor as Brooke ran into the room, screaming her son's name. When she cradled his head, Brooke saw blood on her hand.

In the land Down Under, Rick showed up at Phoebe's hotel room, where he was greeted with a steamy kiss. Rick was uncomfortable about the subterfuge, especially when he heard Ridge's phone ringing nearby. Phoebe assured Rick that they wouldn't be kept apart. After another smooch, Rick left. In the meantime, Ridge had a late-night (in Australia) phone call with his mom, who was at home. Brooke, who at first seemed to be asleep next to him, listened in as Ridge griped about her son and his daughter, noting that the press were trying to get photos of them. Once Ridge hung up, Brooke confronted him over his threat to wring Rick's neck. She called Ridge on his harsh words, which he argued were not to be taken literally. The mood remained awkward as Brooke returned to bed.

Back in L.A., Stephanie, Eric, Pamela and Ann sat down to a contentious breakfast. When Steph criticized Ann's mothering skills, Ann countered that she'd just overheard her daughter instruct Ridge to belt someone. After Ann left in a huff, Pamela weakly suggested that she and her mother pack their belongings, but Eric wouldn't hear of it. Stephanie upbraided her sis for "coddling" Ann, and Pam slinked off. Eric gave his wife a talking to. Having overheard her conversation with Ridge, Eric warned that he would not allow violence in his family. A heated argument ensued, Stephanie's claim that she's not violent was deflated by his reminder of what she's done to Jackie and Brooke (not to mention the time she kneed him in the groin).

In Sydney, Brooke tossed and turned as she thought of Ridge's threats against Rick. A fabulously nightmarish flashback montage ensued: Ridge issuing roughneck warnings; Stephanie with her hands wrapped around Brooke's neck, wielding sharp objects and trying to strangle her with a fashion accessory; Ridge shooting a lamp, fighting with Nick and menacing Rick. Ridge roused Brooke from her musings, and they quietly talked things over. Forrester calmly explained that he doesn't want to physically harm Rick, but just wants to make sure his daughter doesn't get hurt.

Phoebe e-mailed Donna, who was surprised that Phoebes was up so late. While the women chatted on the phone, Phoebe complained about not being able to spend time with Rick, then raved about the hotel's accommodations and directed Donna to check out the romantic honeymoon suite. Donna encouraged Phoebe to rent the suite so that she and Rick could be alone together. Donna offered to book the suite using another name, but she warned that Ridge might still see the bill. Phoebe insisted that she and Rick wouldn't cross the line or do anything she's ashamed of. Afterward, Phoebe called Rick to say they'd get some alone time. He asked how that was possible since they are being watched and can't leave the hotel.

Taylor called Phoebe in Australia and announced that she was engaged to Nick. "I'm really happy about this and I want you to be happy too," Taylor said and Phoebe managed a "congratulations." After hanging up, Rick wasn't thrilled to hear the news. They went to the new Forrester Originals boutique, where Brooke and Ridge introduced their kids to the staff. When the store manager teased that the local paparazzi are going to go crazy over Rick and Phoebe's romance, Ridge bellowed that no such relationship exists! Ridge, Brooke, Rick and Phoebe returned to the hotel for a tense dinner together. After checking her messages, Brooke explained that she got a call from Lauren Fenmore, with news that Amber married a bartender named Cane. Rick didn't seem to care but Ridge was stunned when Phoebe announced that Taylor and Nick were officially engaged. "Who your mother and I marry don't have anything to do with you and Rick," Ridge informed his daughter. Phoebe got upset and ran to her room. Brooke admonished Ridge for his behavior and he stormed away too. Rick later checked on Phoebe and they kissed before he slipped away. Oops. Ridge saw them!

Stephanie tried to reason with Taylor about getting pregnant but was taken aback when Taylor showed off her new engagement ring. She then asked La Forrester to leave Phoebe alone and Stephanie asked if Taylor actually supported Rick and Phoebe's relationship. "I'm not sure how I feel about that one," Taylor declared but pointed out, "They're going to do what they want to do anyway."

Nick verified for an incredulous Jackie that he and Taylor were engaged. Jackie asked her son to wait on the vows just to make sure if Brooke and Ridge's wedding "really, really happens." An exasperated Nick informed Mom that Taylor was the one he wanted to spend his life with. "I'm marrying Taylor," Nick revealed. "I've also asked her to have my child." Taylor showed up and Jackie offered her blessings. After Jackie left, Taylor suggested that she and Nick start trying for a baby — now!
