A new morning found Ridge filling Taylor in on her now grown-up kids. She was desperate to hear about every moment she missed with them. He finally phoned Brooke, who'd fallen asleep on the couch, and told her he'd be home soon and that, "A miracle has happened." As he changed into fresh clothes, Taylor slipped into psychologist mode and warned him the road ahead was going to be rough for everyone involved. She suggested Ridge warn the kids before they see her and he commended her for always knowing what was best. Of course, this time, she doesn't — they'll just think he's crazy! Ridge let Taylor know there was a box "keepsakes" that included clothes she could change into. He didn't want to leave, for fear the whole thing was a dream, but Taylor promised she'd never leave again. Left alone, Taylor pulled out the keepsake box and caressed some of her old things. A dried rose keyed a flashback to a romantic lovemaking session of long ago.
Meanwhile, Eric and Stephanie had the kids at their house. The twins felt they should be at the hospital, thinking that's where Ridge and Brooke were. When Eric and Thomas couldn't convince them it was best to stay put, they were told Ridge wasn't at the hospital and that he believed he'd seen their mother. Phoebe realized that, "Dad still misses Mom as much as we do." Stephanie said they all wished she'd return, but something like that just couldn't happen.
When Ridge showed up at home, Brooke didn't beat around the bush. She told him Taylor would be horrified by the crime he committed against her grave and insisted he needed help. Ridge told her he was in the clear, because Taylor was alive. Brooke gave him her infamous raised eyebrow and tried to talk some sense into him, but he continued with what she assumed was crazy talk. The mention of Omar and a night spent with Taylor didn't help. There was just no way Ridge was going to sound reasonable. Brooke rationalized that Taylor was alive in their hearts, but not in reality. "Taylor is gone!" she finally cried in frustration, just as the doorbell rang. Ridge tried to warn her again, but Brooke barely hid her exasperation as she answered the door. Dun dun DUN! It was Taylor. Brooke screamed.
The episode faded to a touching memorial montage celebrating many successful on- and off-screen moments from the life of recently passed show creator, Bill Bell. With Sarah McLachlan's "I Will Remember You" playing in the background, Susan Flannery's (Stephanie) voice recounted the daytime dynamo's professional and personal successes, while slow-motion scenes of him with family and cast members filled the screen. "Good night sweet prince and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest," she concluded.
RIP, Mr. Bell. You will be SO missed.

Ridge and Taylor continued their smooch-a-thon. "I missed you...I missed your body," she purred, "I want you." They sank down on the sofa as an over-heated Taylor begged Ridge to make love to her. He pulled away and she demanded to know what was wrong. Ridge recounted how hard Taylor's death was on him and their family and that he thought she was never coming back. "I never stopped loving you," he pointed out. Ridge then announced that he had married again and a devastated Taylor guessed it was Brooke. Duh! "We were a family," Ridge explained and Taylor fell into his arms sobbing. After he apologized, Taylor said she understood. "We're a family and nothing's gonna change that," she said and kissed Ridge....
Nick and Bridget discussed how Ridge dug up Taylor's grave. Bridget doubted Ridge's sanity and also fretted for her mother's welfare. Nick tried to calm Bridget down with a shoulder rub. "I don't want you getting wrinkles before the wedding," he chided. Bridget declared that she wanted their next try at nups to be a small ceremony. Nick agreed, then presented her with the top tier of their wedding cake "First we'll eat the cake, have the honeymoon and then get married," Nick offered....
Stephanie informed Brooke about Ridge's field trip to the boneyard. "None of this makes any sense," Brooke wailed but insisted that his problem was medical. Steph wondered aloud if what was really bugging her son had to do with never getting over Taylor. Peeved, Brooke insisted that he already dealt with Taylor's death and moved on. "Whatever feelings he had for her, that is in the past," Brooke proclaimed.

At the graveyard, Omar's sidekick zipped Taylor's fake body into a bag and told the prince it's time to go. Omar said Leila will always remain in his heart and flashed back to their extravagant time together. He acknowledged that even though his love saved her again, her heart belongs to Ridge. He was saddened by what Taylor still hadn't learned — Ridge has a whole new family. "You fought your way back to the dead, my love, but your greatest challenge is yet to come," were his last words. He was gone by the time Thorne, Eric and Stephanie arrived to find the grave refilled. Stephanie was horrified. She spoke to Taylor's empty grave, saying she hoped Taylor would understand and forgive him for desecrating her resting place.
Back at the house, Thomas and Brooke worried after Ridge, but Brooke remained calm. Thomas asked if it upset her that Ridge believes Taylor is alive, but Brooke, who was sure it was part of some ploy, said her concern was with Thomas and the twins. Thomas empathized with all Brooke has been through, between Big Bear, Morgan and "now this." Pushing off his concern, she admitted she could never take Taylor's place, but said she thinks of him and his sisters as her own. Thomas said that was okay and they hugged. Then, a phone call from Dr. Mark clued Brooke into the fact that Ridge had left the hospital. She wrongly assumed he was on his way home and reassures Thomas, saying, "He gave me his word when he came back from Italy. Ridge will never let anyone take him away from his family again." (If it were only that easy!) Once alone, her concern turned to Ridge. After a flashback to his pain over losing her, Brooke left him a voicemail message. Then Stephanie arrived to inform her that Ridge had exhumed Taylor's body. Stephanie insisted he needs help and fast, because hoax or not, this has taken him over the edge. She tells Brooke that she must be there for Ridge.
Meanwhile, Taylor and a slightly-less-dirty Ridge continued their reunion at the beach house. Taylor kept talking about being back together forever, conveniently unaware of the wedding band that was constantly flashing at the camera. She believed she had everything back, including Ridge, and he didn't correct her. Instead, he told her he felt like he'd won the lottery and cooed over her. She asked to hear everything about their family. He filled her in on the hell the kids went through after losing her, but still, no mention of Brooke. Taylor said she felt death calling while she was in her coma, but held on because she knew that if the tables were turned, Ridge would never give up on her. Finally, just after saying, "We can pick up right where we left off," she saw the ring...but assumed it was their ring! Ridge took her in his arms with a look that said, "Tune in tomorrow, when I tell her it's not."

At the foggy, spooky cemetery, Ridge and Taylor shared a tearful reunion. "Is it you," he asked. When she replied, he collapsed in shock. She reached out to him. He placed Taylor's hand on his chest as they cried. Taylor and Ridge kissed while a mysterious man stood in the dark and watched. Ridge told Taylor he knew he didn't imagine seeing her; that it was real. Taylor said how emotional it was for her to see Ridge and their children at Nick and Bridget's wedding. Ridge asked how he's going to explain this to his children when he doesn't understand himself. Taylor explained that she slipped into a coma and that's why Ridge thought she died years ago. She went on to explain that she took herself off the monitors, then Omar's men arrived and got her stabilized. She was unconscious for a long time, then came out of the coma and thought about Ridge and their children. Omar kept her in isolation. Now that she is with Ridge again, she is grateful to Omar for giving her a second chance at life. "I'll never leave you again. Never," she vowed. Taylor explained that the thought of her family is what got her through. She said, "Even though we were oceans apart I knew we were still connected by ... our love. It can overcome anything." They kissed again....
On the boat, Bridget walked in on a just-showered Nick, who told her that he and Thorne helped Ridge dig up Taylor's grave. Nick reasoned that it was how Ridge would get closure from her (supposed) death....
Stephanie and Eric yelled at Thorne for helping Ridge in the cemetery. Thorne then informed them that his brother was still there — with Taylor!

This was Taylor's big day, so there were flashbacks to her final moments throughout the episode. Moody music played as Ridge struggled to open her coffin, only to find a flawlessly preserved Taylor inside. He reached out to touch her — with his left hand, so we could see Brooke's wedding ring on his finger — and something wasn't right. It was a dummy! A confused Ridge laid the "body" back down and climbed out of the grave. Enter Prince Omar, who said of the body, "I made sure it was taken to where it belonged. This is no place for a woman like my Leila." Ridge questioned Omar, threatening to go to the feds, and the two got into a verbal sparring match over whom Taylor belongs with and who hurt more when she was dying. Omar revealed that he saw her in the hospital and like the last time, his "undying faith in her" saved her, but Ridge didn't catch that.
On the Shady Marlin, his brothers talked out what they had done. Thorne was still freaked out about desecrating Taylor's grave and worried that seeing her decomposed body would send Ridge over the edge — if he wasn't already there. Nick thought it was just what Ridge needed to get past this. Thorne later arrived at his parents' house looking a mess. Stephanie and Eric were relieved to hear he'd been with Ridge, until he explained where and what they'd done.
Meanwhile, Omar accused Ridge of giving up on Taylor, but Ridge insisted that going off the machines was her choice to make, not his. Then Omar explained that after the Forresters left Taylor alone, believing she was dead, his men brought her back to him. When Omar explained that he had a replica of Taylor made for the funeral, Ridge asks the million dollar questions: "Do you still have the body?" Instead of answering, Omar continued to question him about the hospital and what procedures were taken to be sure Taylor was dead. It finally dawned on Ridge. He could barely bring himself to ask, "Is Taylor alive?" From behind, Taylor's voice answered, "Yes, Ridge, I am." He turned to see her walk out of some unexplained white light, as if she'd returned from the great beyond. Omar disappeared as Ridge stared into his wife's face. She's back!
