Bridget confronted Eric with the news that she lied about her abortion, which Bridget had already told him. He insinuated that she shouldn't trust Nick and Brooke. He worried that she would be hurt again, but promised that he was excited about the baby if she was. She was thrilled to be planning her future with Nick and their baby.

Nick meanwhile was trying to convince Brooke that they couldn't deny their love. She told him, "You need to give my daughter the life she deserves.... If you let my daughter down, I'll never forgive you." She refused to disappoint Bridget again. Nick demanded that they be honest with Bridget. He tried to kiss Brooke, but she pushed him away and yelled at him to get out. As she ran up the stairs, he grabbed her and kissed her passionately. She said, God help me, as they fell onto the stairs in a passionate tumble.

Taylor caught Gaby and Thomas together. Thomas managed to convince his mother to let Gaby stay for the night, but Taylor insisted they would have to find a new compromise the next day. Later, after some separate wallowing, Thomas knocked on Gaby's door, and they made love, while Taylor was calling Ridge to discuss the situation.

On the boat, Jackie told Nick that she's thrilled he is going to be a father, then urged him to tell Bridget that he's really in love with Brooke. Nick was adamant about pushing his feelings for Brooke aside in order to be a good father to his baby. Jackie told her son that the truth inevitably comes out. She wished him luck and headed off. Nick phoned Brooke to let her know he was coming over to talk.

Dante visited a working Bridget to get an update on her relationship with Nick. He told her to take care of herself. She told him she wants to forget about her insecurities regarding her mom and Nick and get on with her life. Dante told Bridget he wants to be there for her if it doesn't work out with Nick. She urged him to move on.

After the fashion show, Taylor, the twins, Thomas and Gaby returned home. When Taylor told her son how proud Ridge is of him, he questioned why his father wasn't there. Steffy and Phoebe headed upstairs, and Taylor, Thomas and Gaby talked about Ridge's feelings about their marriage. Once Taylor headed to bed, Thomas told his bride to meet him in the cabana in a little while. Gaby was in awe when she walked into the romantic, candlelit spot. Thomas told his wife that he's in love with her. She was shocked, then asked him to say it again. He did, she said it back. Then they decided to make love. Thomas realized he didn't have a condom with him, so he headed back to the house. Taylor walked into the cabana and asked Gaby what was going on. Gaby asked a furious Taylor for another chance. When Taylor told her to leave, Gaby said she's not going anywhere.

The day of Spectra's fashion show had Thomas understandably full of anxiety. Taylor and the twins showed up and Thomas said he hoped his show would help bring the family together in celebration. Thomas told Gaby he had something special planned for her after the show. He was thrilled when his dad finally arrived. Ridge took a seat in the front row next to Taylor. Eric and Massimo also popped in.The show began with Sally being carried out by hunky men. "The hottest new designer is in the house," she announced to the crowd. "And his name happens to be Thomas Forrester." The audience responded enthusiastically to the designs, while Thomas's family beamed with pride. At the end of the show, Thomas took a bow and got a standing ovation. Ridge told Taylor he wanted them to be a family again, but she insisted that he get counseling. He got upset and stormed out of the as Thomas watched from the stage.

Nick remembered Brooke declaring her love for him, but his daydream was interrupted by Bridget. "Hi sailor," she greeted, then asked for his forgiveness. "I need you more than I ever had before," she tearfully stressed. Jackie arrived and after Bridget departed for the hospital, Nick informed his mom that Bridget was still pregnant. He also blamed Jackie and Stephanie for Bridget's insecurities. Jackie urged Nick to follow his heart and be with Brooke, but he insisted he was going to be with Bridget and their child. "I'm going be make it work," he vowed.

"I made a horrible mistake, Mom," admitted Bridget over lying about her abortion. Brooke wasn't exactly thrilled (after all, she and Nick just declared their love for each other) and she tearfully lashed out at her daughter for playing such a cruel hoax. Bridget defended that her insecurities pushed her to take extreme measures, but she assured she was no longer paranoid about Nick and Brooke's feelings for each other. "Things have changed," Nick growled. "More than you realize." But before he could reveal anything, Bridget grabbed her abdomen in discomfort. A worried Brooke urged her to lie down upstairs. "I'm so sorry," Bridget said to them. "I love you." After she left the room, Brooke said that she didn't want to hurt Bridget again and told Nick that he had to marry Bridget. "You love my daughter, you can do it," she sobbed. "It has to be this way, Nick."

Spectra was gearing up for Thomas's fashion show. Gaby showed up and smooched briefly with her husband. Gaby lamented to Darla that she longed to consummate her marriage. Darla knew that such an action would peeve Gaby's mother-in-law. "Trust me," Darla advised. "You don't want to make an enemy out of Taylor."

Eric informed a stunned Jackie that Bridget aborted their grandchild because she felt Nick was still in love with Brooke. "Nicky would have never allowed her to get rid of that child no matter how he feels about Brooke," Jackie pointed out. Eric then explained that Brooke announced that Nick, "was the man she had been searching for." Jackie was upset for the pain Bridget must be in but knew Nick and Brooke were always meant to be together.

Nick was in utter shock when Bridget announced that she was still pregnant. "I know I never should have lied," she admitted, "I must have had some kind of breakdown." Bridget explained that she was testing Nick by lying about the abortion, then begged for his forgiveness. "Just love me," she pleaded. Nick was angry with Bridget's actions as she tried to rationalize what she did. "We need to talk to your mother," Nick asserted. "Right now!" Bridget was certain Brooke would forgive her.

Brooke informed Eric that Bridget had an abortion. "Maybe in the end, it's for the best," Brooke noted. Eric was upset by the remark and she confessed that she and Nick were in love with each other. Eric worried how this would impact Bridget. "Do you really think I wanted to take another man from our daughter?" Brooke wailed but Eric was unswayed by her insistence that she could find true happiness with Nick. Brooke continued to claim she had been searching her whole life for a love like this. "Bridget turned her back on Nick and I can't, I won't," she sobbed. Disgusted, Eric stormed out.

Brooke was surprised when Nick and Bridget showed up together. "There's a lot we need to work out, Mom," said Bridget and apologized for how she treated Brooke. "Bridget, tell your mother," Nick interrupted. Brooke assumed her daughter was okay that Nick and Brooke were together now, but Bridget then revealed that she didn't have an abortion. "You're having Nick's baby?" Brooke stammered as she watched her daughter cozy up to Nick. "Yes, Mom," Bridget replied. "You're going to be a grandmother."
