Thomas and Gaby mulled Sally's lucrative offer. Gaby wanted to discuss the deal with her husband. Sally offered them five minutes, but Gabs asked if they could sleep on it. Later, as the newlyweds prepared for bed, they talked about their future prospects. Gaby supported her young hubby's dreams, then they kissed and made love.

In front of a roaring fire, Jackie asked Eric if she needed her head examined. She apologized for trying his patience earlier and said he's a good man. The duo was startled by the sounds of cats meowing on the deck. After shooing the meowers, Eric told Jackie that despite her concern for Nick's future, she's not a sour old busybody. Jackie told Eric she married too young, just to give Nick a father. They then made goo-goo eyes at each other. Jackie vowed to stay out of Nick's love life and agreed to support the headstrong kids. She then mentioned that she has been avoiding her place because she thinks her divorce papers came today. "I never expected to end up alone," she sighed. He countered by kvetching about Stephanie. "You look like you need to be kissed," Eric purred to Jackie. They kissed. And then, they kissed again.

Nick was bothered to see Dante fondling Brooke's arm. The sea captain claimed he was upset because he doesn't trust Dante, not because he's harboring feelings for Brooke. (Yeah, right.) Then, Brooke saw Nick and Bridget arguing. Dante kissed Brooke. "You're not good enough to kiss her feet!" shouted Nick, while fantasizing about pulling the Italian Stallion off her. Shaking it off, though, Nick told Bridget he wanted to go, so they split. Back at the boat, Nick barked that he felt like he was on display with Brooke. He then pulled out the sonogram and reassured Bridget of his commitment to her. "I'm tired of being tested," he protested. Well, he doth protest too much, because Brooke's voice echoed in his head. However, Nick prevented Bridget from leaving and professed his love for her. They kissed. Later, as Nick and Bridget had sex, Brooke sat alone by the pool, thinking of Nick.

Brooke advised Nick to love Bridget completely. "Let go of me," Brooke urged. "Let the best thing, the right thing happen for all of us." Nick said he couldn't forget Brooke, but he would try to bury his feelings for her. Bridget and Dante returned to the table and she suggested they continue the evening at Brooke's pool. Everyone tried to beg off but Bridget insisted, then went to the ladies' room. Dante admonished Brooke and Nick for not being able to act like they're over each other. Later at the pool, Brooke asked Dante to snuggle with her and he happily obliged while Bridget watched Nick's agitated reaction. "Is it that hard for you to see my mother with someone else?" she asked. "I deserve to know the truth."

Jackie wanted to walk over and put and end to Brooke's charade. Eric led her out of the restaurant instead and back to his beach house. Jackie agreed that Nick and Brooke have made themselves more miserable than happy.

Sally showed Thomas and Gaby how well their sales are doing because of his new line. Sal suggested that Thomas skip college for now and focus on a design career. She then offered Tom a new contract plus a big check for a sign-on bonus. Gaby had a question about a part of contract and Sally told her not to worry about.

"Before we order anything, somebody tell me what's going on?" demanded Nick. Bridget explained that Brooke and Dante were now dating. Nick reluctantly sat down at the table but scowled as he watched the couple tenderly hold hands. Brooke gushed how Nick and Bridget have so much to look forward to with their new baby then pointed out all the romantic things Nick has done for her daughter. Brooke then made a toast to Nick and Bridget's wonderful future together. When Bridget and Dante hit the dance floor, Nick reamed Brooke for being with Dante. "As much as I love you there's something more that I want and that's for my daughter to be happy," Brooke insisted as Nick stared at the ultrasound of his baby. Nick finally agreed that Brooke was right.

Jackie was surprised to hear from Eric about Brooke's plan to get involved with another man. She fretted about Nick's reaction and that Brooke's scheme will only blow up in her face. Eric assured Jackie that Brooke will never betray her daughter again.

Thomas was thrilled that his designs were making the fashion magazines, but he was still upset over his family's attitude towards his marriage. As he hugged Gaby, Ridge walked in and Tom asked if he could tell his side of the story. "Does Gaby need her laywer?" Ridge cracked. Thomas pointed out how Stephanie always came between Ridge and Brooke. Ridge groused that he was upset that Thomas and Gaby eloped without permission then had sex when it was against Taylor's rules. "I have to think of my son," Ridge said to Gaby and then announced that their marriage would be annulled.

Darla reminded Sally that Thomas only signed a short-term contract with Spectra. Sal was upset that she could possibly lose her star designer. Sally overheard Thomas and Ridge's heated conversation.

Taylor apologized to Hector for Ridge's outburst. "He blames me," she lamented, but Hector advised her not to be feel guilty. "Don't let him do that to you," Hec urged. Taylor admitted that sharing Ridge with Brooke was very degrading. Hector pumped her up with compliments and suggested she start up her practice again.

Bridget was thrilled to hear about Brooke dating Dante. "Your mother never ceases to amaze me," Eric proclaimed then left. Bridget showed Brooke her first ultrasound. "This is incredible," Brooke chirped and suggested that Bridget and Nick go out to celebrate. Bridget asked her mom and Dante to join them. Brooke tried to decline the invitation, but gave in when Bridget insisted. After Bridget left, Dante showed up and Brooke told him they were going out to dinner with Nick and Bridget. Dante deduced that Brooke is using him because she is still in love with Nick. Brooke confessed that she needs Dante to help convince Bridget and Nick that Brooke is moving on with her life and no longer a threat to Bridget's happiness.

Jackie shared her suspicions with Nick that Brooke may get involved with another man to quell Bridget's insecurities. Bridget arrived and told Jackie that she wanted them to spend more time together before the baby arrives. After Jackie's exit, Bridget showed Nick the ultrasound. He was moved and she announced she had a dinner surprise for him. "I hope you're as happy about it as I am," Bridget cooed.

Jackie and Eric met for dinner at Cafe Russe and she was surprised to see Brooke and Dante sit at another table. "Nick is not going to be happy about this," Jackie sighed. Bridget and Nick arrived and, as expected, he was peeved to see Dante kissing Brooke's hand.

At Insomnia, Dante daydreamed about his kiss with Brooke. Bridget showed up and admitted that she and Nick were not as close as they used to be. She worried that there was still something between her mom and Nick, but Dante revealed how he recently clicked with Brooke over wine and a smooch. Bridget seemed a little put off by the news and exited.

Eric demanded that Brooke tell Bridget the truth concerning Nick. Brooke insisted that there's nothing to tell because she and Nick have no future together and she already came up with a plan to convince Bridget of that by cozying up to Dante. Eric predicted that Brooke's scheme wouldn't work because she won't be able to deny her feelings for Nick that easily. Bridget entered and asked her mom if it's true about Dante. Brooke happily confirmed and rhapsodized about what a special guy Dante is. When Bridget questioned if this was a romance, Brooke declared, "I just want something's that's uncomplicated for a change." Bridget seemingly bought it.

Taylor couldn't get the security company to come out and check her malfunctioning alarm system so she called for Hector's help. While he was out of the room, Ridge arrived, determined to do something about their son's marriage. Taylor broke the news that Thomas and Gaby had sex and now she can't be deported. When Ridge learned the newlyweds also moved out, he blamed Taylor for the mess. "I did the best I could under very difficult circumstances," she pointed out. Taylor brought up therapy again but Ridge turned that down. "You never really listen to me," he accused. Hector came back and ordered Ridge to knock it off. Ridge stopped short of wishing he had stayed with Brooke and stormed out.
