A furious Stephanie raged that she wouldn't allow Brooke to hurt Bridget again. Brooke insisted there was nothing improper going on between her and Nick. "I know what I saw," Stephanie fumed. "You could barely tear yourselves away from one another." Steph demanded to know if Brooke and Nick have had sex, which Brooke vehemently denied. "I'd sooner have an affair with you," Brooke hissed. When Stephanie pointed out that Bridget should know the truth, Brooke ordered La Forrester to keep her mouth shut because there was nothing to tell.

Taylor was shocked when Ridge agreed to marriage counseling. He was convinced that they could get through their "rough spot." Taylor tearfully thanked Ridge, then recounted how she heard Brooke answer his cell phone with, "I love you, too." Ridge assured Taylor that Brooke was saying that out of friendship. "I still have some issues with Brooke," Ridge admitted. "Maybe we can address those in counseling." Taylor was happy to hear Ridge affirm that his future was with her. "I should have said that a long time ago," he conceded.

Frustrated from his close encounter with Brooke, Jack pounced on Bridget for some hot lovemaking. "I'm so glad that you're attracted to me," Bridget sighed post sex. Nick announced that it was time to look for a house. "You can't raise kids on a boat," said Nick. An excited Bridget confessed she had already been looking at places and left to retrieve the listings at Forrester Creations. There, Bridget walked in on Brooke and Stephanie arguing. Steph then tattled that she saw Brooke and Nick at Big Bear together and that they were in love with each other.

At Big Bear, Nick clung to a teary Brooke and insisted that he couldn't let go of her. Brooke said that she can't stop wanting him, but the best way for him to love her is by loving Bridget too much to betray her. Then they went back to holding hands and sort of nuzzling, but not quite kissing. It was a little Lady And The Tramp-like, but sans the plate of spaghetti.

Ridge visited a very domestic Stephanie at the cabin. She was decked out in a pink button-down shirt and offered him homemade refreshments. Martha Stewart, um, we mean Steph also told him that she's been volunteering at a homeless shelter. Ridge observed that her time at Big Bear had been good for her and encouraged her to let go of her meddlesome ways. She said she wished she could be the person she was a long time ago. After Ridge left, Steph looked out the window with binoculars and spied, yep, Lady and The Tramp. They were saying good-bye, but from a distance, it looked incriminating. From the look on Stephanie's face, we'd say she's over the baking and volunteering.

After facing off with Gaby again, Taylor went home to find the twins arguing. Steffy tattled that Phoebe is failing trig — and forging Taylor's name to the notes from school. Ridge returned home and instantly annoyed Taylor by ringing the doorbell first. She told him that she needed a husband, not a visitor. He informed her that he'd spent the afternoon with Steph, who has now gotten Brooke out of her system. He surprised his wife by saying maybe they should see that marriage counselor.

Nick returned to the boat where a chipper and scantily clad Bridget was whipping up dinner. He grabbed her held her while looking tormented. Maybe he doesn't like stir-fry? He then planted a big kiss on her.

In the meantime, Stephanie dropped by Brooke's office and told her that she'd been at Big Bear. She filled in Brooke on what she'd spotted and swore she wouldn't let Brooke do this to Bridget again.

Brooke went to her office but couldn't concentrate on work because she kept thinking of Nick. "It's all over now," she sighed. "Nothing but memories." Dante entered and could tell Brooke was troubled. He advised her to confront her emotions so she headed to Big Bear to think.

Nick was once again haunted by Brooke's image calling out to him. Massimo showed up and observed that his son was in emotional distress. Nick tried to bolt but Massimo stopped him. "What's gotten into you?" asked Dad. Nick confessed that he couldn't stop obsessing about Brooke. Massimo suggested that Nick keep as much distance from Brooke as possible. "Stay away from her," warned Mass. Nick went to Big Bear and found Brooke. They both shared how they couldn't stop thinking about each other and melted into a passionate embrace.

Taylor thought about her kiss with Hector, then called him. She thanked him for his friendship but declared that their kiss was wrong. "Maybe that ring shouldn't be on your finger," Hector noted before Taylor hung up. She then visited Thomas to share her disapproval over the competition between him and Ridge. Taylor pointed out that Thomas was being manipulated by his wife. A newly blonde Gaby suddenly arrived but no one said anything about her hair color. Thomas was called away to the cutting room, leaving Gaby and Taylor alone in his office. Not surprisingly, the women continued not to see eye to eye. "I can be the kind of woman that Thomas deserves," Gaby insisted. Of course Taylor didn't agree and blasted her daughter-in-law for bringing deception to Thomas's life. "That reason alone, you'll never be good enough for him," Taylor griped.

While hiding out in her bedroom, Brooke couldn't stop thinking about Nick. "Oh, my God," she sobbed. "I've got to stop doing this." Dante showed up with breakfast and tried to comfort Brooke, but his concern only riled her. "Why don't you pack your bags and get out," Brooke huffed, but she immediately apologized. Dante pointed out that he also lost someone he cared for when Bridget married Nick.

As Nick was obsessing about Brooke too, Jackie arrived to find her son in an agitated state. Jackie announced that Nick and Bridget had her full support now. However, Mom became suspicious when he shoved his new wedding photos at her. "Do something with them," he groused. Jackie told Nick that she was proud of him for putting Bridget and their baby's needs before his own. After Jackie left, Nick had a vision of Brooke standing on an ocean shore and calling out to him. "Come to me, Nick" she cooed. "You can't forget about me."

Bridget stopped by her dad's office and was delighted to find him so upbeat. She was happy, too, and professed that she didn't think her life could get any better. Bridget was intrigued when she heard that Eric and Jackie got together after the wedding. "Why do I feel there is more to this story than what I'm getting?" wondered Bridget. After she left, Jackie arrived and shared a kiss with Eric. He enthused how elated Bridget is, but Jackie admitted she was troubled by Nick's behavior.

Brooke was mildly surprised when Ridge admitted he needed her. "So tell me, Ridge, what exactly did you come here for?" asked a cautious Brooke. Ridge ticked off the travails going on with his marriage and Thomas. Brooke advised him to pay attention to Taylor and his family or he could lose them. Ridge started to get nosy about Brooke dating Dante and she told him it was none of his business. "You can't keep running to me for support every time you and Taylor argue," Brooke pointed out. Wounded, Ridge skulked away without his cell phone.

At the firehouse, Hector urged a depressed Taylor to reopen her practice. Hector lamented how love wasn't enough to keep him and Samantha together. Hector tenderly caressed Taylor's face and she pulled away. She apologized for leaning on him. She called Ridge's cell phone but was shocked when Brooke answered. "I love you, too," Brooke purred, assuming Ridge was the caller. Taylor hung up and tried to flee the firehouse. Hector laid a hot smooch on her instead.

At Eric's invitation, Jackie showed up at his beach house for a candlelit dinner and champagne. When they started to discuss their woeful romantic lives, Eric said he was looking for someone with, "Stephanie's wit and Brooke's charm." He then pulled Jackie into a passionate kiss.
