Caterers arrived at the beach house to create an intimate dinner setting for Eric. The reason? "A very special evening for a very special lady," Eric murmured dreamily.

Stephanie apprised Ridge of Brooke's feelings for Nick. "I'm sorry, honey, but I think you've been replaced," Steph clucked. Ridge couldn't help but to be peeved at his little brother for marrying Bridget when he still loves Brooke.

Nick came down on himself for causing his wife so much pain. Jackie pointed out that her son is free to marry Brooke now that Bridget knows that truth and begged Nick to seek a future with his true love. Eric called Jackie to make plans to meet and she happily accepted. Nick questioned Jackie about her relationship with the Forrester patriarch and she admitted to a wonderful romance with Eric. Jackie then rushed over to Eric's office but he wasn't there. She noticed a receipt on his desk for two wedding bands. "He's going to ask me to marry him," she gushed. Stephanie unexpectedly arrived. "What are you doing here?" she demanded. Jackie then announced she was going to be the next Mrs. Forrester. "You're as delusional as you are slutty," Stephanie huffed, but was shocked when Jackie produced the receipt.

Brooke encountered Bridget leaving the house with a huge suitcase. Bridget announced she was annulling her marriage to Nick. "Take him," she growled. "He's all yours." Brooke insisted that she has no future with Nick. "Your baby deserves to have the stability that you never had," Brooke declared. "I want this family to come back together and heal the wounds." When Brooke hinted that she had taken steps to make that happen, Bridget was curious. "What are you talking about," she asked. "What have you done, Mother?" Eric showed up and announced that he and Brooke got married!

Stephanie accused Brooke of trying to steal another man from Bridget. "You're trash!" Steph fumed. Brooke was aghast that La Forrester would cause such heartache for Bridget, but Stephanie insisted she would take care of her and the baby. "Bridget needs me, not you," Brooke fiercely argued. "I don't care what you say Stephanie, I'm not going to lose my daughter again." But the meddling matron was certain that the family will abandon Brooke for this latest indiscretion. "There's not a damn thing you can do about it," Stephanie growled and Brooke stormed out in tears.

"I don't want to lose you," Nick informed a disillusioned Bridget, but she wasn't consoled by her husband's declaration. "When did I go from the woman you tried to marry four times to being an obligation?" she asked. Nick reminded Bridget that she set their woes in motion by lying about the abortion. She urged Nick to reunite with her mother. "I know there's a man out there who will love me more than anything else," Bridget "It's just not you as much as I wanted it to be." She then removed her wedding ring.

During their marriage counseling session, Taylor admitted to feeling threatened by Brooke. Ridge sniffed that his wife just needed to understand that he would never act on his feelings for Brooke. When Ridge scoffed that Taylor was a saint and would never look at another man, she admitted her kiss with Hector. Ridge was shocked. "I guess it's something you're going to have to deal with, Ridge," Taylor shot back. Ridge finally recognized his hypocrisy and embraced his wife. "I'm so sorry," he murmured.

Brooke sought solace with Eric. "Stephanie told Bridget everything we were trying to protect her from," Brooke sobbed. Eric announced that he divorced Stephanie which gave Brooke an idea on how to save her daughter's marriage.

Ridge and Taylor went to see the marriage counselor. Ridge was impressed by the doc, but obviously nervous being there. Taylor stated that she was concerned about Ridge's lingering feelings for Brooke. Ridge admitted that he desires Brooke. "If you told me I couldn't desire her, I'd have to go into shock therapy," he stated, but insisted that just because he finds Brooke attractive, doesn't mean he doesn't love Taylor. "All this petty jealousy is a waste of time," he sniffed. "Taylor's just gonna have to get over it."

Bridget was devastated when Brooke admitted that she and Nick had declared their feelings for one another. "This is how you love me?" Bridget spat. "You're sick!" A smug Stephanie stood by and watched with a scowl on her face as the ladies fought. Brooke tried to explain her side of the story, but Bridget didn't want to hear it. Brooke stated that if she has any hope of salvaging their relationship, she needs to be honest. "Did you kiss my husband?" Bridget asked. "You saw the attraction, but what you didn't see was how hard I tried to fight it," Brooke told her. "I couldn't imagine hurting you like that ever again." Brooke insisted that she respects Bridget and Nick's marriage. "I am not a threat. I swear to you on my life," she told her daughter. Steph called this an "empty promise," but Brooke continued to urge Bridget to go to her husband. Stephanie reminded Brooke of how Brooke had had a relationship with Bridget's ex-husband, Deacon, as well. Brooke began to get hysterical; Bridget begged her to stop. "I don't want to listen to your lies. Just leave me the hell alone!" Bridget yelled. A sobbing Brooke called after her, but her daughter drove away. Brooke blasted Stephanie for causing Bridget so much pain.

Nick was upset about Bridget learning the truth. Jackie pointed out that they both made sacrifices. "I was committed to our child and our future," he stated. "Do you think you could ever forget Brooke?" Jackie asked. Nick was all set to have a life with Bridget. "I'm gonna make damn sure she knows that," he insisted. Later, a furious Bridget stopped by to see Nick. He listened as she told him off. He also tried to defend himself by stating that he'd gone to Brooke because he thought he'd lost his child. Bridget couldn't believe that he'd blame her for his indiscretion. "All of the happiest times in my life were with you," she told him. "I really believed that you felt the same way." Nick said that he did, but Bridget told him to stop. "Those moments that I held back here in my heart ... I'm such a fool," she sobbed. "I need you to look me in the eye and admit it to my face. All those times I thought you loved me, you were really just in love with my mother."

Brooke flashed back to happier times with Bridget, and prayed that Stephanie wouldn't ruin things and reveal to Bridget that Nick and Brooke have feelings for one another. Meanwhile, Steph, of course, was busy blabbing the truth to Bridget. "He is not in love with you," Steph spelled out for her. Bridget choked back tears and refused to believe it. Steph told Bridget to let Brooke go, calling Brooke, "a selfish, selfish bitch with a capital B." Yikes! "She's my mother," Bridget argued, but Steph reminded her of Brooke's past misdeeds. "Since when it is a sacrifice to NOT sleep with your daughter's husband?" asked Stephanie (good point). Steph then offered to help Bridget and her unborn child.

Hector fantasized about kissing Taylor, but she interrupted his reverie, and explained that she wanted to work on her marriage to Ridge. Ridge and Taylor had made plans to see a marriage counselor, but when it was time for the session, Ridge found his wife hanging out with Hector. "So, are you ready to go?" Taylor asked Ridge. "I'm always ready," Ridge said, leering at his wife. "I meant to the counseling session," she quickly clarified. Ridge agreed that he was ready for that, too.

Nick blasted Eric for telling Stephanie about what he and Brooke had said to each other on Nick's boat. Eric admitted that he'd made a mistake, and called his lawyer so he could get a divorce from Steph. Nick lamented Steph's treatment of Brooke. "She wants to make sure that Bridget hates her mother," he explained. Nick then got a call from Brooke, who reported that Stephanie was talking to Bridget. Later, Brooke arrived and told Bridget she's taking her home. However, Bridget simply gave her mom an icy stare. "Did you tell Nick you were in love with him?" she asked her mom. "Is it true? Damn it, just answer me!" "Just tell her the truth," Steph demanded.
