Eric and Stephanie continued to argue until he finally stalked out of the office. "Do I have to muzzle you?" Massimo asked his ex-girlfriend. They then met with his financial attorney who confirmed that Stephanie's trust document appears irrevocable. Stephanie was shocked to learn that after her father died, his family friend, Katherine Chancellor of Genoa City, was named successor trustee. Massimo said he would find out how to contact her.

Eric stormed into Brooke's office. "Is strangulation still against the law?" he fumed, but changed the subject to saving Bridget's marriage. Brooke lamented about her inability to be intimate with her husband, but he told her not to fret about it. After Eric exited, Stephanie showed up and Brooke brought up the subject of Steph's imminent move to Florida."I'm not sure how well you and Eric will do without me," she noted. "I have this nagging feeling that my usefulness is not over." Brooke advised Stephanie to go to Florida and hire a nice, tanned psychiatrist. "You're just misery to anyone who knows you," Brooke said. "Los Angeles isn't big enough for the both of us so one of us has got to go." She added that it would not have hurt Steph to be more like her. "What would that have made me, the slut whore of Boca Raton?" shot back La Forrester. "You're not wanted, you're not needed," so go, sniped Brooke. The phone rang, Massimo called to tell Steph that the trust was solid and she was the sole and rightful owner of Forrester Creations.

Nick met Eric at the beach house to discuss Bridget. Bridget then showed up, not knowing Nick was going to be present. Eric pushed them to resolve their problems, but Bridget assured there was no going back. Eric tried to convince his daughter that he and Brooke have a real marriage based on shared values, goals and family. Nick was doubtful and Bridget pointed out that the marriage looked staged, especially since they don't live together. Eric claimed that would change and added that they share a bed. Bridget suggested that meant her mother stayed up reading until he was asleep. Heh. A defensive Eric insisted that they have sex. Nick smirked.

Stephanie was very pleased to hear that she could be the one and only owner of Forrester Creations. Massimo pointed out that the trust needed to be checked out in case her father amended it with another document. Massimo called upon his financial attorney to quietly investigate. Stephanie recounted how she begged her dad for the money to start up Forrester Creations and Massimo surmised that the elder Douglas wanted to make sure that his daughter would always be legally protected should her marriage not work out. Massimo wondered if Eric knew the trust existed which disillusioned Stephanie. "I'm the biggest fool of all," she moaned, but she still wanted to give her ex the benefit of the doubt. Eric entered and Stephanie reminded him how they used to be the darlings of the fashion world. "That's ancient history," huffed Eric and said the company belonged to him and Brooke now. Stephanie became so enraged that Massimo had to intervene.

Eric and Ridge reveled in the success of Forrester Creations. A reporter asked what this will mean for Thomas and his career at Spectra. Ridge announced this his son will be going to college then coming to Forrester to work. Eric predicted that Spectra was down, but not out.

Thomas apologized to the Spectra gang for losing the competition. "If you want to blame somebody, blame me," Sally pointed out. Thomas and Gaby fully realized the loss meant her deportation. Ridge and Taylor appeared and Gaby agreed to heed the terms of their deal. Thorne blasted Ridge for cheating. An INS agent arrived and handed Gaby papers confirming her citizenship had been restored. Taylor revealed that she had been campaigning for her daughter-in-law all this time. "I always believed in you even when I was angry at you," said Taylor. Gaby tearfully thanked her. Thomas took his wife aside and said they didn't have to file for an annulment. "I'm willing to fight for us if you are," he insisted. Gaby responded that they must keep their promise, but can reconciled in the future if they were truly meant to be together. "You don't have to fight for me Thomas because you're already my hero," Gaby cooed and they melted into each other's arms.

As Spectra and Forrester readied for their fashion competition, the reporters swarmed around Eric and peppered him with questions about his marriage to Brooke. Eric then revealed his newest ad campaign called Forrester Reunited, then confirmed that he and Brooke had remarried. The press went gaga. Later, in Eric's office, Thorne reamed his dad and Ridge for having an unfair advantage with all their publicity. Thorne threatened to call off the competition which made Ridge huffy. Stephanie showed up and ordered the brothers to cool down. After Eric and Ridge left, Thorne admitted that Spectra is on the brink of ruin. Stephanie assured her son that he could always return to Forrester. "And work for Ridge," Thorne snorted, "Never!"

Hector showed up at the fashion show to support Taylor. She informed him that she and Ridge are now fully committed to repairing their marriage. Hector was amazed that one counseling session could yield such immediate results. Ridge appeared and told Hector to leave.

Thomas was upset that his grandfather was getting so much attention, thus giving Forrester a leading edge with the press. Once the fashion show commenced, Thorne couldn't help feeling pessimistic because Forrester had such an impressive collection. Sally started fretting, too. Thomas apologized to a tearful Gaby. "We get our son back," a thrilled Ridge rhapsodized to Taylor.

Massimo arrived at Eric's office per Stephanie's request. She wanted him to be her witness when she opened Eric's safe to locate her stock certificates. Once she figured out the combination, Steph and Massimo searched through the contents. Mass came across a trust document and upon closer scrutiny, he figured out that Stephanie's father, whose money started Forrester Creations, drew it up and named her the sole beneficiary. "For what?" wondered Steph. Mass excitedly said, "You're not going to believe what this is." He explained that the original articles of corporation stipulated that the company be held in trust all these years, which means there is only one legal owner. "Forrester Creations is all yours," Massimo declared to a shocked Stephanie.

Stephanie announced to her stunned family that she was moving to her father's estate in Florida. "Why?" questioned Ridge. "Because Brooke won and you lost? Stephanie Forrester a quitter. I never thought I'd see the day." Steph stated that she had lost her perspective and wouldn't be able to, "keep my mouth shut," if she stays. An angry Ridge blamed Eric for driving Stephanie away. She then bid farewell to each family member and even kissed Eric. "I'll always love you," she whispered and the exes embraced. Massimo predicted: "Stephanie Douglas will rise form the ashes again." After everyone left, Stephanie gazed pensively around her living room and more memories came flooding back. Thorne returned to check on his mother and told her that he would always love her.

As Thomas tried to make adjustments on one of his designs, he began to freak out about the competition. Taylor showed up and Gaby remarked that her mother-in-law will surely be thrilled if Thomas loses. Taylor stated that she wouldn't be happy to see Gaby deported but, not surprisingly, Gaby wasn't convinced.

While interning at the hospital, Bridget noticed a sheet-covered corpse twitch on a gurney. She pulled off the cover to find a very-much alive and naked Dante. "See something you like?" he teased. Bridget smiled and appreciated his prank, but it wasn't long until she was groaning about her personal life again. Dante proclaimed his love for Bridget and declared they could be very happy together. Her beeper went off but before departing, Bridget kissed Dante on the cheek and thanked him for being such a good friend to her. "I want to be more for you, if you'd just let me," he offered.

"I don't know who I am anymore," admitted Stephanie during her therapy session with Taylor. Steph lamented that her life is empty now that her family has turned their backs on her. Taylor pointed out that Stephanie's focus was more on Brooke than her family. "Maybe you've been putting your energy into the wrong place," Taylor suggested. Stephanie started to reminisce about old friends in Florida, but got back to harping about Brooke again. Taylor advised her mother-in-law to put some distance between her problems by taking a vacation. Stephanie balked at first, but Taylor strongly urged her patient to heed the advice.

Sally announced that Spectra sales are dropping because Eric and Brooke's marriage has grabbed mucho publicity for Forrester Creations. Sally then revealed that she invested big bucks into modernizing her company so Spectra could go broke if Thomas doesn't win the big fashion competition. Not surprisingly, Thomas got very stressed out.

Ridge got huffy with his dad for marrying Brooke, but Eric had no regrets. "Brooke and I are building a future together," Eric replied but Ridge fretted about R.J.'s welfare. Eric vowed that his grandson will be raised in a loving and stable home. As the men continued to squabble, Stephanie called and asked them to come to the house for a family meeting.

In the Forrester living room, Stephanie remembered happier times with Eric. Family and friends (Sally and Massimo) arrived and Stephanie shared that she can't bear the public embarrassment of her divorce and Eric's remarriage. "I'm going away," Stephanie announced. "I'm going to sell the house and leave L.A."
