B&B Recaps Week of Oct. 31, 2005

Friday, November 4, 2005
Brooke looked at a photo of Nick and Bridget and reminded herself that she could never be with Nick, no matter how much she loved him. Eric called her and told her to come to work immediately. At Forrester, Jonathan's legal team told Eric the trust is legal and binding. Jonathan said not only could Eric lose the company but Stephanie could file charges against the both of them. Brooke showed up and Eric told her about the trust and that Stephanie has complete control over the company. Brooke was aghast that Stephanie had fired Eric, who warned her that she would be next and Stephanie was taking back all the stock (even the stock they had given to their children). Ridge showed up and Eric told them that they had to stand together against Stephanie. Ridge thought Stephanie would calm down and they could work this out. Rick arrived and Eric told him the company is under attack.

At home, Stephanie still couldn't believe the company is hers. Taylor arrived and Massimo and Stephanie explained to her that Stephanie owns Forrester. Taylor was stunned and Stephanie shared how hurt she was that Eric betrayed her. Stephanie added that there were going to be some changes in the family's stock and the company. Stephanie asked Taylor to come with her as she addressed the family. Stephanie, Massimo and Taylor showed up at Forrester for the showdown. Stephanie explained that Eric kept the truth from her. Eric said they'd accept no changes in the company. Stephanie declared she was taking over and would like Rick and Ridge to stay on, but Eric and Brooke are finished. Brooke refused to accept it and vowed to fight Stephanie.

Clarke reported Spectra's inventory wasn't moving and Sally admitted that Forrester is burying them right now. Thorne was upset he put all of his money into the company and gambled on his family's future. Darla comforted Thorne and reassured him that he didn't fail their family. She said she had faith in Thorne and he would find his way.

What was the magazine coverline that ticked off Thorne?

Nick continued to pour on the charm with Brooke. "No more holding back," he purred, but Brooke refused to give into temptation. "I love you, Nick," she wailed. "But I also want to be able to look at myself in the mirror." Nick held Brooke in a bear hug and refused to let her go. Not surprisingly, her defenses began to weaken. "You know you belong to me," Nick whispered. "We've got to be honest with ourselves." Brooke threw that back at him by asking if he was really the type of man to walk out on his wife and child. Her words finally sunk in and a contrite Nick vowed to devote himself to Bridget and their child. "Thank you," he said to a relieved Brooke.

"This isn't your company," Eric charged but Stephanie begged to differ by reminding him that she could have him thrown in jail for fraud since he always knew the trust existed. Eric summoned Jonathan the lawyer to his office, which Steph welcomed. "I am Forrester Creations," Eric declared. "Without me, you own 100 percent of nothing!" Stephanie was unimpressed. "You tell me why I should trust you to run my company now?" she angrily posed. "If I'm angry and bitter, it's because of you." Steph announced she was taking over Forrester Creations, then wrote, "You're fired!" on his sketch pad.

A shirtless Dante helped Bridget move into the beach house, while she took another peek at her ultrasound. Dante offered to move into the guest room and sweetened the deal with more home-cooked meals. "By the end of the night, you'll be begging me to stay," he winked (hey, we would gladly beg, with or without dinner). After chowing down dinner, Bridget agreed that she and Dante could be roommies on a platonic basis.

Dante showed up at the hospital for Bridget's doctor appointment. Bridget said she didn't need him there but he said she shouldn't experience this pregnancy alone. During her ultrasound, Bridget flashbacked on a happy time with Nick. Dante told her to stop thinking about Nick and that he would take care of her now.

Stephanie told Eric she missed her flight to Florida and Eric offered her the company jet (which she got a kick out of since it's her company). Stephanie brought up her father and Eric wondered why. Steph said she always believed Eric was an honest man. Eric admitted he had made mistakes and they all need to move on. Stephanie pulled out the trust papers and blasted him for knowing all these years about the trust and that it named her as the owner of Forrester Creations. Eric insisted that he made the company a success and that the document didn't mean anything. Stephanie said it meant everything to her and that she is angry that he lied to her throughout their entire marriage. Stephanie admitted that she would have given Eric half of the company but he has made bad decisions about the company and Brooke. Stephanie declared the trust was valid and it invalidates all the previous decisions and their marriage. She proclaimed herself Stephanie Douglas and sole owner and CEO of Forrester Creations. "It's payback time," she said as she threw a photo of Eric and Brooke to the ground.

It's a dark night on Nick's boat, so you know Nick and Brooke are getting honest about their feelings. Nick grabbed Brooke and told her that Bridget knows his heart is with Brooke and Bridget doesn't want him. Brooke said they could never be together and her life is with Eric now. Nick begged her to let the truth come out so they could move forward together. Nick said he couldn't stop loving her and it looked like Brooke's resolve was weakening.

Katherine confirmed for Stephanie that she kept John Douglas's trust document intact, per his wishes. "You own Forrester Creations," Kay declared. "Lock, stock and barrel." Kay explained that Steph's dad created the trust because he didn't want his daughter to know that he didn't trust or have faith in her husband. Stephanie tried to quell her suspicions that Eric was aware of the arrangement but kept it secret. "Then what was this document doing in Eric's safe?" Kay posed.

Jonathan the family lawyer presented Eric with his final divorce papers. Eric was relieved but became alarmed when he realized that someone had been in his safe. "Stephanie's trust document, it's not here," Eric announced. He began to panic when he searched his office in vain. Eric was concerned when a briefcase-toting Stephanie showed up. "Is something wrong?" he hedged.

Brooke informed Nick that she and Eric have made love. Nick didn't believe her and she finally admitted that her marriage hasn't been consummated. "Eric loves me," Brooke affirmed. "I'm going to make this a real marriage." Nick scoffed at such crazy talk, then dragged Brooke out of her office and to his boat. He then fired up the engines and headed out to sea. "This is going to get resolved tonight," he growled. "My way!"

Over the phone, Massimo informed Stephanie that Katherine Chancellor was in L.A. and he would try his best to locate her. After hanging up, Brooke was miffed that La Forrester was hanging around her office. "Shouldn't you be on your broomstick to Boca by now?" asked Brooke. Stephanie became upset upon learning that Brooke was resurrecting her infamous lingerie line but she was unfazed. "You're never coming back," a smug Brooke gloated. She then escorted Stephanie to the elevator but the miffed matron silently vowed that she would be back.

As Nick and Bridget listened, Eric lied that he had sex with Brooke. A peeved Nick insisted Brooke was not in love with Eric. Papa Forrester pointed out the sooner Nick accepted that Brooke has moved on, the sooner he and Bridget could fix their marriage. After Eric left, Bridget didn't want to stay in the same room with Nick. "You're free," she grumbled and handed over her wedding ring. Nick declared that his feelings for his wife haven't changed but Bridget wasn't moved by his words and walked out.

Massimo tracked down Katherine and asked if she could meet with Stephanie. Kay agreed and she showed up at Stephanie's mansion. Steph then showed Kay the trust papers she signed and asked if Mrs. Chancellor had ever transferred ownership of Forrester Creations.

Eric returned to Brooke's office and recounted how Bridget still doesn't believe that her parents' remarriage is genuine. Eric emphasized to Brooke that she must be able to look Nick straight in the eye and convince him that she's committed to her husband. "We could have it all," Eric noted. "If you could just turn your back on Nick." After Eric left, Nick barged in and demanded to know if she made love with her hubby.
