Eric was frustrated over getting no nookie from Brooke, saying he was "losing control." She apologized, but he felt that he just didn't love him as a husband. He begged her to "find it in your heart" to come upstairs (to sleep with him) when she was ready. Instead, she went to the Marlin to talk to Nick. She filled him in on Eric's "needs" and Nick told her to end it. "I'm never going to love him," Brooke sighed. "You know that and so does Eric. It will always be you." Nick said their feelings wouldn't ever go away, even though he was committed to Bridget. Poor Brooke had no one to turn to. They both flashed back to that fated night of the storm when they discovered their love for each other and as she left, a snippet of their song played.

Eric, meanwhile, lit candles and waited upstairs to show her the love he had for her. Brooke came home to a the room aglow and champagne. Eric wouldn't let her speak before his toast. "This is my evening for you and you are not going to say a word to me until I'm finished."

At the beach house, Dante made his case with Stephanie, admitting he'd left his life in Italy to come to L.A. because he loved Bridget. He was ready to go on the offensive and swore he could raise another man's baby. He rehashed Bridget's train of insecure relationships thanks to her mother and Stephanie agreed that had just ruined her relationship with Nick. Then he showed her Bridget and Nick's divorce papers and insisted she help convince Bridget to sign them. That's when Bridget conveniently showed up. She was annoyed at Stephanie's recent play at Forrester and distrustful of her motivations for visiting, but then Stephanie handed her the papers. She and Dante harangued Bridget with the anti-Brooke/Nick party line and pushed her to sign, while Dante reminded her that she was number one with him. She remained defensive and undecided. Nick arrived with the news that Brooke and Eric's marriage was caput, noting that he was where his heart was, with Bridget. He pointed out the anger in Stephanie's voice and asked if she could trust it. Bridget looked into his eyes as Dante and Stephanie continued their hard sell. Who will win???

Eric was agitated upon finding his wife in Ridge's arms (as if he's never seen that before). He sarcastically pointed out that she's still in love in Nick and maybe in love with Ridge, but certainly not with her new hubby. He then laced into Ridge for threatening to start a new company with Brooke, thereby cutting Eric out of the loop. Ridge and Brooke explained that Destiny Designs was originally a ruse to force Stephanie's hand, but now they're not so sure. Ridge apologized for not informing Eric about his plans, and said if the new company happens, he'd want to work with both Eric and Brooke. Eric huffed that Ridge could do as he pleased, but he should leave Brooke out of it.

Nick continued to work on softening up Bridget, speaking sweet nothings to her pregnant belly and staring into her eyes. The past few months notwithstanding, it was working. That must be some eye contact...Bridget recovered long enough to tell Nick she deserved better than him. "I'll do whatever it takes to regain your trust," he vowed. He agreed to go and let her think about it, and she was clearly charmed as he made his way back out her bedroom window (the better to avoid Dante downstairs). Later, Dante came in to check on Bridget. He urged her to get Nick out of her mind, but she didn't look ready — or willing — to do that. Dante tucked her into bed and left her to her thoughts (of Nick?...).

Stephanie came by Marone Industries to visit Ridge. Her son accused her of whipping Eric into a frenzy unnecessarily, but Steph insisted that wasn't her fault. Her ex was angry because of his obsession/frustration with Brooke, not over anything she said. "This marriage isn't going anywhere," Stephanie assured.

Eric and Brooke went home, where he was still miffed about her dealings with Ridge — and the fact that they have yet to consummate their marriage. He tried to talk her into a vacation away from her exes in L.A., but she wasn't willing to go, which frustrated him more. "We're like roommates; that's not what I wanted," Eric whined. Brooke took pity on him and offered mercy sex, but Eric turned her down. When she looked confused, Eric explained he didn't just want the act. "I want you to love me," he whispered.

Brooke enjoyed needling Stephanie as she and Ridge continued to play their bluff that they'd start a new company called Destiny Designs together unless Stephanie put Ridge in charge of Forrester. Ridge felt he earned the right to run Forrester now, not after she, Thorne and Taylor have time to make a mess of it and Brooke cooed, "Ridge and I have always made an incredible team." Stephanie again made it clear that anything Brooke wouldn't be accepted, including the slut herself, and insisted their significant others weren't going to be pleased by them working together on a start up. When Ridge warned, "Wars cost money, Mother," Stephanie bragged that she had a plan. "Destiny Designs is a go," Ridge concluded and left with Brooke.

Eric vented to Taylor and she empathized, acknowledging everyone was stressed, but when Eric mentioned the pressure recent events could put on both of their fragile marriages, she said that she and Ridge were in a good space. "I can deal with just about anything, now that I don't have to worry about Ridge and Brooke," she admitted. Eric said he and Brooke had potential, but, "any distraction is a threat to our future." Then he left Taylor to go by Stephanie's new office (a.k.a. his old office). She was catty as ever when she dropped the bomb about Destiny Designs and it hit the mark. Eric was unnerved, but insisted Ridge would respect his marriage. Then he stormed out to talk to them.

Alone with Brooke, Ridge suggested they turn their bluff into reality. Like Stephanie, Brooke was concerned that all the work it would take would hurt their marriages. Ridge said her marriage was a sham and insisted their sexy chemistry was what made them a great team, but she felt that chemistry made the whole idea too much of a gamble. Then she freaked over the state of affairs, so he took her in his arms to comfort her. That's when Eric stormed in and angrily misunderstood.

A shirtless Dante wouldn't let Nick see Bridget and even announced that he was in love with her. Nick told him to get over it. After a bit of tense back and forth, Dante kicked him out, but Nick warned he'd "be back later. And I'll expect you to be gone." Like Nick would ever give up that easily! He was actually going to sneak into Bridget's room. She woke when he stumbled over a lamp and he informed her that he had more to say…to his child. He got into the bed and, after telling Bridget it was a private convo, started talking to her belly. He told the baby to stay in there for a while so he and Bridget had some time to make up. He then promised he'd be there for the birth, which would be totally natural, and hoped they'd all be together when the baby came home. Bridget was clearly entertained and touched.

Ridge became incensed over the publicity that Forrester's new regime was grabbing. Massimo promised his son he would do all that he can to get him back on top. After Mass left, Brooke arrived and Ridge revealed he wanted them to start a new fashion design company. Brooke giggled at the thought of Stephanie blowing her top over their enterprise. Ridge admitted the whole idea is just a bluff to force his mother to take him back at Forrester.

Massimo tracked down Stephanie and presented her with a contract that would put Ridge back in charge at Forrester. Stephanie refused, fearing Brooke still exercised too much influence on their son. Massimo angrily pointed out that if Steph is determined to reinvent the company, she needs someone like Ridge at the helm. "I'm not going to justify any business decision to you or anyone else," Stephanie huffed. Ridge showed up with Brooke and announced they were starting their own fashion house. "You are not seriously consider this?" Steph countered, but Ridge threatened to go through with his plans if his mom didn't make him president of the family biz.

As a shirtless Dante served breakfast, Bridget recounted her evening with Nick. Dante strongly doubted that Nick could ever devote his life fully to Bridget... like he could. "You are without a doubt the sweetest man," Bridget chirped. Dante urged a nap for the mom-to-be, then carried Bridget in his muscular arms to the bedroom and tucked her in (uh, who would be able to sleep after that?!).

Jackie praised Nick for sacrificing his love of Brooke for his unborn child. "I'm just a man who made a decision and I'm determined to stick to it," Nick declared. Jackie was surprised to hear that he was in therapy to get a handle on his feelings for Brooke. Nick feared Dante could steal Bridget away. Marone showed up at the beach house to find the half-naked Dante. "I live here now," Dante confirmed. "I'm taking care of Bridget." Not surprisingly, the guys exchanged glowering stares.

It looks awfully suggestive when Taylor is in bed with a shirtless Hector at her bedside. Taylor admitted she was attracted to him but he deserved better than the situation she's in and she didn't want to give herself to him like this, after drinking a lot of champagne. They heard a car pull up and Hector saw it was Ridge. Ridge walked into the bedroom, found Taylor alone in bed, and apologized for not being at the press conference and supporting Taylor. Ridge mentioned the limo in the driveway and Taylor admitted it was waiting for Hector. Taylor said she had him go down the back when Ridge arrived to avoid a confrontation with Hector, but insisted that she and Hector did not have sex. Ridge understood Hector wanting Taylor and vowed to do better by Taylor. They hugged and Ridge admitted he was having a hard time with the company and Taylor being taken from him by his mother. Taylor said Stephanie had some good ideas. Ridge took his shirt off (for no reason) and feared for the future of the company so he revealed he was going to take the company back. Taylor didn't want to argue about the company, and said she wanted someone to look at her like she's the only woman in the world and wished it could be Ridge. He kissed her, then called Hector. Ridge thanked him for getting Taylor home safely and for being a good friend to Taylor. Hector said Ridge had been wasteful and careless his whole life and it wasn't too late to grow up. Ridge hung up the phone and he and Taylor began to make love.

Nick admitted to Bridget that he kidnapped Brooke so they could admit their true feelings but vowed nothing happened between them and never will. Bridget didn't believe it and Eric insisted it was true, but Bridget refused to be the reason Nick and Brooke weren't together. Nick said things change and he was determined to be a father to their baby. Bridget was insulted to be plan B but Eric told her that while Nick is never going to love her the same way he loves Brooke, she should trust the way he loves her. Eric said that people have pasts and she needs to accept that. Bridget said she and Nick were over and he revealed he had her engagement ring. Brooke told Bridget her ideas of happiness and her feelings will change with motherhood.
