B&B Recaps Week of Nov. 28, 2005

Friday, December 2, 2005
Nick was playing with the tschotschkes he'd brought back from the boat, while Bridget rolled her eyes and decided to discard his mildewed suits. Then he presented her with a sweet pink baby basinet, which she loved, but she kept teasing him about the state of the clothes he was moving in to the beach house. Nick subtly dropped the news that he'd seen Felicia and Bridget suggested she was back for Nick. He pushed away that idea and when Bridget said she didn't know much about her half-sister, Nick gave her (and fans who don't know Felicia) an outline of her character. The two got into bed for the night and Bridget let him know Eric was throwing them a party. When they spooned, Nick insisted she stop tickling him. He was thrilled to realize it wasn't Bridget, but his little girl kicking from inside.

Ridge and Taylor talked business in bed as he gave her a massage. He wasn't pleased Felicia might be heading up the Forrester design team and teased that he knew she was responsible for it. Taylor thought that Felicia was a good addition to the team and someone Stephanie could trust, since she wasn't wrapped up in the recent drama. Ridge laughed that off, saying with that pair reuniting, she better "hide all the knives and put away everything that says poison!" Ridge said when he wrote to his sister, her responses were uninformative. They agreed Nick could have "messed with her head." Then Ridge let on that he knew Taylor joined Stephanie's side with the ulterior motive — bringing the family back together. He brought up Hector and they talked about getting along. Then they got down to some nooky, which was apparently very good. Taylor listed off what she likes about him, and Ridge admitted he was a tantrum thrower. Then Taylor admitted that her penchant for "analyzing and finding fault" must make her difficult to live with. "We're going to be okay," Ridge concluded.

Felicia stormed in on her mom at home, telling Stephanie she should be ashamed of herself. She turned down the job offer at Forrester and made tons of snarky remarks, but Stephanie remained warm, saying didn't want to lose her. She also insisted she wanted Felicia's talents at Forrester, but Felicia said papa Eric deserved the position. Stephanie's snotty daughter wasn't moved when she admitted she needed her. She said Felicia was always "either hiding something or flaunting something," but then figured out it was avoidance this time. The convo was interrupted by a call from a Frenchwoman named René who couldn't find a hotel room that could accommodate their "special circumstance." Having overheard, Stephanie offered the guesthouse, promising she'd stay 50 yards away. Then she asked after "the man" she was talking to, but Felicia corrected her. Stephanie then assumed René was a romantic girlfriend and wouldn't take Felicia's denials. When Felicia left, even she had to admit the chat had gone well — for them. She went straight to get settled into her new temporary home. That's when fans were filled in on her big secret — she'd had a baby! As she looked down on him, she cooed, "Sweet dreams, Dominick."

Eric showed Brooke his new designs, which she called his "best in years." Thorne showed up to apologize to his dad about the office in the basement and insisted they needed a way to end the manipulation and lying and start working together. Eric blamed Stephanie, but Thorne just responded that he didn't want to throw away all the talent and strength they had in their family. Eric told him to "keep us solvent," while he would focus on designs. When Thorne left, Eric shared his pride with Brooke, but she was spacing out on a photograph of Nick and Bridget. She filled him in on their big reunion and feared Bridget might never forgive her. That's when Bridget walked in to share the news that she and Nick were back together and having a girl. They were kind enough to not let on that they already knew. She said she was happy to find them together, but she only had eyes for her father. When he left the ladies alone, they hashed it all out. It turned out Bridget wasn't angry with Brooke, which led to a nice cry session. "I'm so glad that you're a grandmother," Bridget said. "She has you to look up to." Brooke couldn't believe she'd been forgiven, but Bridget stood behind her. She admitted Brooke had made some colossal mistakes, but also understood they were out of love. There was much mother/daughter bonding — or should we say mother-to-be/grandmother-to-be bonding.

Nick, meanwhile, returned to his boat to pack up, only to find Felicia onboard. He was happy to find her cancer-free and gave her grief about never returning his e-mail, especially since he's not an e-mailer. She again teased the amazing changes in her life and filled him in on her farm with a goat and her new designing job at Forrester. She kept referring to him as a bachelor — until she noticed the ring on his finger. She assumed Brooke wore the matching one and was floored to hear it was her half-sister "little Bridget." She started crying and admitted she'd hoped he wanted to settle down…but with her. As soon as she pulled herself together, he dropped the bomb that Bridget was pregnant. "A wife and a kid?" she guffawed. "That sucks, Marone." She covered up by saying she meant he must have missed having had a honeymoon period and begged him not to ruin her rep by telling anyone she'd cried. When she went to leave, he offered her use of The Marlin, but she said there were just too many memories there. They shared "one last hug" and the phone started ringing. As Nick took the call, Felicia went to sneak out and dropped her purse. The camera scanned its contents…which included a baby pacifier! From the look in her eye, the baby it belonged to had something to do with Nick. Dun-dun-dun!

Taylor was thrilled to see Felicia (Welcome to B&B, Lesli Kay!) and was immediately concerned about her health, since she had practically disappeared. "Are you hiding something?" Taylor wondered. Felicia insisted that she was fine, her cancer had been in remission for a while. She had just been enjoying a little piece and quiet. "My life has completely changed," she smiled. When Taylor brought up Felicia being Forrester Creations' head-designer, Felicia quipped: “You’re desperate,” and she called Taylor on the real reason she was needed: to help Stephanie out. The friends chatted about everything, but the one thing off limits was Nick. Felicia was adamant about not discussing him.

Brooke (swinging along the ever-growing hand cast — ouch!) and Stephanie ran into each other at Forrester Creations, which, of course, warranted some fabulous one-liners. When Brooke informed Steph that Bridget was having a daughter, Steph warned her nemesis not to mess her life, too. Brooke was insistent that she was happy for her daughter and Nick, but Stephanie wasn’t buying any of it.

An overjoyed Nick embraced Bridget after she informed him that Dante now knew about their reunion. "I'm here now. I'm not going anywhere," promised Nick. (Yeah, we've heard that one before. Keep him away from your family reunions, Bridget!) They chatted about marriage, diapers and getting back in sync — which they did by making out. They were ready to make love, but Bridget stopped them, reminding her hubby that the doctor advised against it. So they cuddled instead. Nick promised he was going to be her Prince Charming for the rest of their lives.

Having just overheard Eric's proclamation to Jackie that he'd never reunite with his ex, Stephanie barged into his basement office and went on the attack. She insulted him for "slithering" from Brooke's bed to Jackie's and having a "pathetic weakness for women." She said that she'd come down to work out a compromise for the benefit of the company, but was over that idea now that she'd seen he wasn't concerned with the family or the company. There was much back and forth, including her slipping and referring him as "my husband," until Jackie referred to their bickering as a "lovers' quarrel." She called Stephanie out on being jealous and used that same "love and hate" line Taylor had. The two insisted they didn't love each other, but Jackie wasn't convinced. She gave Eric a slow kiss on the cheek and left them. The pair went onto bickering like an old married couple until Eric stormed out, telling his ex to send any future messages through Megan.

Outside the beach house, Bridget and Nick kissed to celebrate their reunion before Bridget went in to drop the bomb on her suitor Dante. The poor Italian stallion was inside creating a romantic evening for her, candles and all. Needless to say, he was incensed to learn she'd taken Nick back. "He's committed to ruining your life!" he rang out, but she said she had to take this "leap of faith." They had the same old argument, with Dante insistent that he loved her more and would be better for her. When she remained unwavering in her commitment to her hubby, Dante concluded, "I pray to God that I never have to say to you, 'I told you so.'"

Meanwhile, Nick tracked Brooke down at Insomnia, anxious that the big reunion news come from him. His reunion with Bridget was clearly bittersweet for both of them. He filled her in on Bridget's incontinent cervix, noting that his concerned reaction had proven everything he'd been saying to her. Brooke was overjoyed to hear she was having a granddaughter. "Bridget back, a daughter, what more could I want?" Nick sighed, but as he took Brooke's hand, it was clear what they both could and still did want. After a simple but weighty goodbye, Nick walked away and then watched from afar as tears fell from Brooke's eyes.

Taylor came to Stephanie, horrified over the spreading news that she'd relegated Eric to the basement. Yes, La Forrester was in for some more triple T (Taylor therapy time). "There's a fine line between love and hate," the therapist reminded her. Stephanie couldn't believe she was suggesting such a thing, but Taylor responded that love isn't rational and believed there could be a chance for them.

Downstairs, Jackie stopped in to visit Eric and was also horrified by Stephanie's actions. They rehashed the recent brawl over Forrester and Eric admitted, "I love this company so much, I don’t care what the conditions are." Then, the newly-single lothario turned on the charm. Jackie played hard to get, since he'd dumped her for Brooke. "Yet you're wearing the dress I gave you," he noted and told her to take it off so he could do some alterations on it. Jackie liked the attention, but remained cautious. She was worried he would reunite with Stephanie. As Stephanie listened through the door, Eric insisted a reunion with Stephanie was impossible. She was crushed to hear him tell Jackie that she supports him in a way Stephanie never had.

At the beach house, Brooke continued to defend Bridget and Nick's future, while Dante remained confident Nick was only wooing Bridget back for the baby and feared what would happen if she lost it.

Convenient timing, considering the news the couple received. Bridget and Nick leaned on each other when they learned Bridget faced an increased possibility of miscarriage. Nick told the obstetrician to bring in any and all specialists to avoid that, but after they heard more, doctor-in-training Bridget said it was just a "scare." Nick apologized for jumping down the obstetrician's throat, promising he'd make sure Bridget didn't over do it, "because she's the most important thing in the world to me." Bridget was touched by his concern for her. After they found out they were expecting a girl, a teary Nick begged Bridget to let him back in. She admitted she could now see how much he cared for her, but she asked if he loved her "in that special way." "Yes," he whispered. Nick slipped her ring back on her finger and re-pledged his love to her. "The three of us, forever," he promised.
