As Taylor waited for Ridge to emerge from his shower, Stephanie called and begged her daughter-in-law to keep quiet about her affair with James. Taylor hung up on Steph's pleas and a half-naked Ridge joined his wife. He apologized for being absent during the holidays and they started to get down to business in bed. After they were through with having sex, Taylor didn't look too pleased or content. Ridge then started to sing her praises (beauty, kindness, virtue, yadda, yadda, yadda...), which made her feel even worse. "I have something to tell you," a conflicted Taylor whispered. She then explained how she let Hector kiss her, but Ridge seemed understanding. However, Taylor couldn't leave well enough alone and announced that she had sex with James.

Stephanie visited Brooke who didn't hesitate to bad-mouth Taylor. "Don't you try to judge Taylor," ordered Stephanie and warned Brooke not to use Taylor's indiscretion to undermine her marriage. "What are you gonna do, Stephanie, have another heart attack?" Brooke posed. Steph tried to downplay Ridge's marriage woes, but Brooke pointed out that La Forrester wouldn't even be making threats if she wasn't worried. Brooke was very sure the relationship will "fall apart all on its own."

Stephanie pleaded with Taylor not to tell Ridge about her long-ago fling with James, insisting that it would end their marriage. Taylor insisted that it was time to face up to her secret. Steph urged her to focus on the fact that Brooke saw her kiss Hector and to deal with the present. La Forrester warned that Ridge could accept that one mistake, but not the long-buried secret. They were interrupted by a call from Ridge, who was phoning from LAX to report that he'd be home soon. Sure enough, Ridge rushed home and was very lovey-dovey. As Steph was on her way out, she overheard Ridge ask Taylor what he missed while he was away.

Sally turned down Thorne's job offer to work as the Forrester receptionist, saying she didn't take charity. He and Darla continued to press, and Spectra claimed that she can't work long hours and her memory isn't what it once was. They stood firm and Sally finally accepted — and then requested a big salary and perks. Thorne said she could have anything she wanted.

Nick asked Brooke if she wanted a future with Ridge. She admitted that she'd like for her, R.J. and Ridge to be a family again and vowed to tell him that his wife kissed Hector.

While waiting for Nick in his office, Brooke couldn't stop thinking about special times with the manly Marone. Right on cue, Nick showed up. "I need your advice," she announced. Brooke explained how she walked in on Hector and Taylor kissing. Brooke complained how she always fell short when compared to Saint Taylor all these years. "I begged her to respect the family I had with Ridge, but she didn't care," Brooke huffed. "Isn't it about time she was held accountable like the rest of us?" Brooke then lamented how much her son missed Ridge. "Do you want a life with Ridge again?" queried a shocked Nick.

Stephanie visited Taylor and praised her daughter-in-law for being such a good person. "I'm not a saint," groused Tay, who confessed how lonely she's been without her husband. She then spelled out how she was caught kissing Hector by Brooke. Steph agreed that Taylor should tell Ridge the truth before Brooke does. Taylor said she was determined to come clean about everything — including her one-night stand with James years ago. Stephanie strongly disagreed and urged Taylor to keep quiet.

Sally showed up at Forrester Creations at Thorne's behest. He asked for her help in interviewing applicants for the recently vacated position of receptionist. The first candidate was a blonde bombshell who openly flirted with Thorne. Sally quickly dismissed her and it wasn't long until they went through all of the applicants without any successful results. Thorne then offered the job to Sally, but she felt she was reluctant. "Sally, take the job... for me," Thorne begged.

Brooke flashed back to catching Taylor and Hector's hot smooch. Brooke's revelry was interrupted by the arrival of Taylor, who wanted to know Brooke's next move. "You're going to stay out of this," Taylor demanded, but Brooke declared she wasn't about to let her rival off the hook. Ms. Logan brought up how Taylor and Stephanie continuously dissed Brooke for her immoral behavior. She then posed that Taylor could be in love with another man but Tay had a retort about Brooke's feelings for Nick (Yikes! Glass houses, ladies, glass houses!). Not surprisingly, no one was winning this round. Brooke walked out as Taylor begged her not to interfere in her marriage.

Dante showed up at the Forrester guest house bearing champagne for Felicia. The bottle was uncorked and the two sipped freely while getting to know each other. Felicia remembered when "dark and studly" gallantly escorted her home after she got plastered at a disco last year. She then rhapsodized about being a new mother and how happy she was that Dominick would be raised by Nick and Bridget. Dante admitted he was still in love with Bridget; Felicia did the same about Nick.

Darla interrupted Hector in the gym as he pummeled a punching bag and he confessed that Brooke walked in on him kissing Taylor. Darla worried that Brooke could blab to Ridge but Hec pointed out that it may be the best thing to happen if it meant Taylor could share a better life with him. "Taylor and I are going to be together," he vowed. "It's meant to be."
