Bridget writhed in pain on the hospital bed, begging for the contractions to stop because it was too soon for her to give birth. She demanded that the doctor up the dosage to stop the contractions. Later, Nick struggled to calm her down. He compared what was happening to Bridget was like a tanker springing a leak and jokingly asked for duct tape. They were all happy to find out that the drugs were kicking in and the contractions stopped as Bridget stabilized.

Hector had a dream about coming home with Taylor after spending a day in a shelter. She thanked him for saving her from a marriage and a life that wasn't working. She unbuttoned his shirt and they made out until the TV woke Hector up and eyed the phone.

Taylor cleaned up the bottle she had broke, and then tearfully gazed at old pictures of her with Ridge, before turning them over and weeping again. She smashed one photograph of Ridge, and kept drinking while she stared at Ridge's photo. Hector called to check in on her again. She said she was going out to eat, which worried him because she had been steadily drinking. He offered to pick her up, but she said no and walked out of the house. He called her back, but she was already gone. As Taylor drove, she flashed back through moments in her past with Ridge. A car beeped its horn and she swerved on the road.

Meanwhile Ridge studied a picture of Brooke at his office. Thomas burst in and told him that Taylor was falling apart and that he needed to fix this situation. Thomas saw the picture: "What, you're so damn in love with Brooke that no one else matters? No even mom?" Ridge then called Taylor to check on her, as she was driving. She told him that she wasn't standing in his way so that he could be with Brooke. "It would've been better if I had never come back into your life," she said, weeping more. Eyes on the road, Taylor. Of course the moment she looked down, after getting off the phone with Ridge, a truck's horn blared and Taylor screamed.

Ridge apologized for his crazy gesture of trying to recreate his wedding to Brooke in her backyard. She told him that she was in love with him, the man, but "that man disappeared the day you walked out on us." He said he wanted her more than ever. Katherine brought Hope and RJ out to enjoy the evening. Ridge wanted a new beginning for their family, but Brooke wouldn't have it. He admitted that he didn't know how much he hurt her and promised to make up for it. She swore that she would never forget and that there was nothing he could do to win her back.

Bridget prepared a romantic evening at home with Nick, ensuring that she was taking things easy because of the baby. She wanted to choose her daughter's name. He reminded her that her name was a combination of Brooke and Ridge's, who thought they were her parents when she was born. She decided she really wanted to name the baby Nicole to symbolize how much he means to her. He loved the idea. However, moments later, as they started to clear the table, she doubled over in pain and Nick carried her out, and rushed her to the hospital.

Thomas came home to find a melancholy Taylor brooding over her failed marriage. He wanted to stay home with her, but she encouraged him to go out with his friends. When Thomas left, she broke down into tears. Then she started drinking and put music on to dance until Hector called to check in on her. She admitted that it "sucked" being alone, but she had to get used to it. He offered to come keep her company, but she just hung up on him. Taylor recalled memorable moments in her life with Ridge, and tried to pour another glass of champagne, but she had finished the whole bottle, so she threw it into the fireplace and then burst into tears again.

Ridge demanded that Nick butt out of his relationship with Brooke. "She's not gonna put up with your screwy little games anymore," Nick growled. He was then curious when Ridge received a phone call about champagne, flowers and birds. "What are you planning, little man?" Nick asked but Ridge revealed that his marriage to Taylor has been annulled. Before departing, Ridge announced that he and Brooke will be sleeping in late tomorrow.

Brooke informed Bridget that Ridge wanted to reunite. "I'm not sure if I want that life back," Brooke admitted. Bridget surmised that Brooke may have found something wonderful with Nick and she will no longer settle for anything less. Brooke allowed that she wasn't getting back together with Ridge, at least not "today." She also regretted that her obsession with Ridge had turned Bridget's childhood upside down and she didn't want that to happen to Hope and R.J. Brooke went home to find that her backyard had been transformed into a jungle. "Welcome to paradise," Ridge smiled and explained that the he wanted to restage their wedding in Puerta Vista to remind her of happier times. Brooke wasn't moved by the grand gesture.

An elated Taylor showed Hector her official annulment. "I'm not perfect and now everybody knows it," she hollered and broke out the champagne to celebrate. Hec thought it was too early to drink, but Taylor disagreed and started swilling the stuff. She was thrilled not having to live up to a reputation of a saint. "I'm free to be myself," she whooped. Suddenly, reality hit and she became depressed. "I think I need some time alone," she muttered and he reluctantly left. A tearful Taylor went back to drinking the champagne.

Dante filled Bridget in on Eric and Stephanie's wedding. Bridget encouraged him to be a friend to Taylor while she's going through her separation.

Hector told Ridge to steer clear of Taylor because he's looking after her now. The firefighter then tried to make Ridge realize that Taylor is done with their relationship.

Eric gave Taylor a pep talk. Taylor pointed out that Ridge has always wanted Brooke, not her. Eric told her that she'll always be a part of the family.

Jackie visited Eric at his office. Once behind closed doors, they kissed. He told her how great it was to have the family together at the wedding. Jackie was upset that they have to keep quiet about their relationship. Eric assured her it was only temporary and promised that they will be together.

Ridge found Taylor packing up her things in her office. He tried to warn her about Hector, but she weepily noted that he gave up his right to tell her what to do when he walked out on her. Taylor surprised Ridge with annulment papers. She signed the document, and after brief hesitation, so did Ridge. Taylor took a hit at her ex about his mother running his life. He told her their marriage was not a sham. "Does it have to end?" she asked. "I'm so sorry," he replied. They hugged, then he walked out, leaving Taylor to cry alone.

"Don't go through with the ceremony if it's not what you truly want," Felicia suggested, but both Eric and Stephanie were determined to exchange vows. The judge started the wedding by asking the couple to recite their own pledges. "Oh, just speak from the heart," Steph gleefully goaded her groom. Eric rhapsodized about their family and Stephanie followed suit by promising the kids that their parents would always be there for them. When it came time for the rings, Felicia presented her parents with their old ones which they slipped on. The judge proclaimed them husband and wife and they tenderly kissed. Felicia was elated to watch them dance as she held Dominick. "That's your family," she cooed to her son. "And they will always, always take care of you."

Hector found Taylor packing up her belongings in her Forrester office. She announced her marriage was over then tearfully flashed back to when Ridge proposed in the Caribbean (which included a treasure hunt that ended at a diamond engagement ring). "It was like a big romance novel," she sobbed to Hector, but she admitted she always wondered if she and Ridge really belonged together. "He chose to be with Brooke," Taylor lamented. "Why couldn't he love me like that?" Hector then said he would love her unconditionally.

Kristen asked Ridge if he was upset over his broken marriage and Ridge affirmed that he made the right decision to split from Taylor. He then asked Felicia to dance but she announced that her date had arrived. Ridge turned around to see a tux-clad Dante walk in through the front door. He took Felicia in his arms while her parents looked on lovingly. Dante was surprised when Felicia laid a passionate smooch on him. She later shared a danced with her dad. "It's my last dance and I saved it for you," she murmured. "Right back in my daddy's arms." Felicia collapsed but still whispered, "Thank you for the time of my life."
