On the Marlin, Brooke happened upon Nick and Taylor on top of each other in bed, and freaked out. Nick and Taylor denied that anything was, or was about to, happen. When Brooke expressed doubt, Nick called her on her hypocrisy for finding her in bed with Ridge earlier that night. Brooke maintained she was merely comforting Ridge because he had just lost his sister. Nick asked her point-blank if she had sex with Ridge. Brooke said no, because she has feelings for Nick, and reprimanded Nick for having Taylor in his bed. Nick reminded her why he came to her house in the first place. Nick asked Brooke why she came to see him. Brooke grilled Nick and Taylor about what happened, asking if they kissed each other. Both denied kissing. Nick downplayed things and said the two merely had too much to drink. Brooke prepared to leave, but Taylor insisted she’d leave, apologized for causing any problems, and begged her not to tell anyone what happened — especially Ridge. Taylor left. Nick explained how he ran into Taylor by accident, and how Taylor followed him back to the Marlin. Nick’s answers didn’t quell Brooke’s fury.

Stephanie visited Dante, Bridget and baby Dominick. Dante expressed his condolences to Stephanie, who said she feels she still has Felicia with her, in every way that counts. Stephanie told Dante that he’s a good father but there are some things that only a mother can give a child. Bridget asked Stephanie is something else is going on; Stephanie said nothing. Bridget complimented Stephanie for how she supported and cared for Felicia during her final days. Stephanie left to see Taylor. Dante asked Bridget if Dominick could stay with him for the night. Bridget agreed. Dante invited Bridget to join them, but she declined. Dante apologized for pressuring her, but expressed hope that one day they’d be raising Dominick together as a couple. Stephanie visited Taylor and found her passed out on her sofa. Taylor told Stephanie she had too much to drink. Stephanie asked Taylor to tell her what happened.

Ridge demanded a straight answer from Jackie on Brooke’s whereabouts. Jackie continued to stonewall. Ridge lamented that tonight would have been his wedding night if her son hadn’t interrupted. Ridge accused Jackie and Nick of being in cahoots behind Brooke’s disappearance. Jackie assured Ridge she’s not playing games and that Brooke is fine. Jackie finally leveled with Ridge and told Ridge that Nick saw Ridge and Brooke in bed together and raced out, and that when Brooke learned that Nick had seen them in bed together Brooke uttered that Nick misinterpreted and chased after Nick. Ridge dismissed Jackie’s claims and refused to doubt Brooke’s motives or intentions. Ridge tried calling Brooke on her cell phone. Brooke recognized it was Ridge calling on her caller ID. Nick wrested the cell phone out of her hand and angrily declared to Brooke that they need to figure things out for themselves once and for all right now, sans Ridge’s involvement.

Nick was devastated when he spied Brooke making love to Ridge. Downstairs, Jackie stopped by and asked Massimo why Nick was at Brooke’s house. Massimo and Jackie argued over who should be at Brooke’s house. Nick ran downstairs past Jackie and out the door. Upstairs Brooke put the brakes on things and reminded Ridge it was supposed to be their wedding night. Ridge joked that they should just pretend that it is. Brooke got serious and said she didn’t want to pretend. Brooke said she wants to be there for Ridge while he’s in pain from his sister’s death. Ridge assured her that everything would be fine now that they’re together again. Brooke took a break to check on the kids. Downstairs Jackie was upset with Massimo for letting Nick go like that. Massimo left to look for Nick. Brooke came downstairs and talked to Jackie. Brooke discovered that Nick had been there, and realized Nick must have seen her in bed with Ridge. Brooke took off to find Nick to explain things to him. Ridge came downstairs and confronted Jackie about her motives for being there. Ridge smugly declared that Brooke isn’t interested in anything she or Nick have to say. Ridge then asked Jackie where Brooke was. Jackie toyed with Ridge and didn’t give him a straight answer. Jackie asked Ridge if he’s absolutely certain about Brooke’s commitment to him.

At the bar, Taylor had another glass of wine, much to Hector’s dismay. Hector warned Taylor that nothing good would come from her chasing after Ridge. Taylor maintained there’s still a chance for her and Ridge if he really didn’t marry Brooke after all. Hector arranged for a cab to come and take Taylor home. Nick stormed in and started taking shots at the bar. A drunken Taylor approached and offered him her condolences about Felicia. Nick rudely told her he wanted to be alone. Taylor said it’s healthier if he expressed his grief. An annoyed Nick asked Taylor what she was doing there. Nick told Taylor he found Ridge and Brooke in bed together. Taylor was shocked, but Nick insisted he knew what he saw with his own two eyes. As Taylor and Nick licked their wounds Nick asked for another bottle of liquor. He asked Taylor if she liked the ocean. She said yes. Nick said it’s dangerous out there but at least he’s free. Nick said whenever he’s on land, there’s women, kids and families but none of them ever turn out to be his. After commiserating with each other, Nick said it was time for him to go and he staggered out of the bar. From her car, Brooke tried to reach Nick on her cell, left him a message to meet her at the Marlin. There, Nick started raging at his life, but was interrupted when Taylor arrived. Taylor started crying, saying she didn’t know where else to go. She told Nick she didn’t care what he thought of her, she just needed his help The two hugged. They were about to kiss when Taylor pulled back and said she couldn’t. Taylor tripped and knocked the two of them onto his bed, one atop the other — just as Brooke barged in.

Massimo consoled Ridge over the loss of Felicia. Ridge said it’s always hard to prepare for things like this, and conceded that he was partly in denial about her situation. He saluted her for being the life of the party up until the very end. Massimo told Ridge she loved him very much, and told Ridge he needed to be with his son and his son's mother right now. He told Ridge Brooke loves him and would be there for him again now if he wanted her. Ridge agreed.

Hector met Taylor at the bar, who was having another drink. Hector asked if she was drowning her sorrows over Ridge and Brooke’s wedding. Taylor said she was drinking a toast to her dearly departed sister. Hector offered his apologies. Taylor beat herself up for not being there when Felicia died. Hector offered to take Taylor home and stay with her. Taylor said she’s not the one who needs consoling — Ridge is. Taylor said if Nick’s marriage to Bridget is over, then maybe Brooke is having second thoughts about Ridge. Hector warned Taylor about having her own second thoughts about Ridge, and told her that she must put him behind her. Taylor tearfully asked how she could put the father of her children and the man she spent more than half her life with behind her. Hector prevented her from ordering another round, and told her she needs to regroup and pull herself together. Taylor declared she wants her old life and marriage back with Ridge.

Nick called Brooke from his boat and told her that Felicia died. Nick told Brooke he wants to come over and see her. Brooke said she wants to see Nick, too, but Bridget needs her more now, and didn’t want Bridget to see her with him now. Nick said that’s what Bridget wants, but Brooke said Bridget needs her undivided attention. Nick told her he loves her, and she told him she loves him too. Nick said there’s just one thing he needs to know that can’t wait, but Brooke hung up the phone before she heard him say that. Ridge came to Brooke’s room to tell her about Felicia. Brooke consoled Ridge as he grieved for his sister. The two embraced and kissed. Ridge stepped out to take a shower. Nick ran into Massimo when he went to visit Brooke at the house. Massimo told Nick to leave everyone alone tonight after what’s happened. Upstairs Ridge finished his shower and Brooke consoled him further. Ridge told her he needs her, and the two kissed again as hey stroked each other’s faces. Brooke asked him if he still wants an answer tonight, but Ridge said all he wants right now is her. The two began to make out on the bed. He beckoned Brooke to make love to him because it would help ease his pain. Brooke cautioned it would only help for a little while, but Ridge said he didn’t care. Downstairs, Massimo told Nick to leave because Ridge obviously wasn’t coming down anytime soon. Nick refused and said “he’s gotta do what he’s gotta do” and got an eyeful when he raced upstairs....

Stephanie hammered on Brooke to give everyone an answer about which man she truly wants to be with. As Brooke remained silent, Ridge tried to intercede and told Stephanie to lay off. Brooke pleaded with Stephanie to stop badgering her. Downstairs, Massimo railed on Eric about the Forrester family’s lack of morality and lack of value of the sanctity of marriage. Eric said they have to let their children live their own lives.

At Felicia’s, Dante insisted that he call an ambulance for her. Felicia asked Dante to summon her family instead. Dante called and reached Thorne, who informed Eric about Felicia’s condition. Eric raced upstairs to get the rest of the family. Stephanie told Brooke to stay put because she’s not part of the family. While they waited for her family to arrive, Dante gave Felicia some water and tended to her. He again recommended calling for an ambulance but Felicia refused. Back at the house, Brooke and Massimo had a heart-to-heart. Massimo told Brooke not to worry about Stephanie. He promised to take care of her and Nick so that she would be free to enjoy her marriage to Ridge. Brooke cautioned that he’s getting a little ahead of himself. Massimo pleaded with Brooke to follow through on her plans, and threatened to give Brooke a much harder time than Stephanie ever did if she makes a move toward Nick.

Felicia’s family arrived and Stephanie tried to take charge of the situation. Per Felicia’s instructions, Dante poured glasses of champagne for everyone. Nick toasted Felicia, who apologized to him about the Dominick mess. Nick told her she doesn’t have to be sorry for anything, and gently kissed her. Nick asked everyone to raise their glasses in honor of Felicia. Thorne told Felicia how much everyone loved her. Ridge told her she always brought life to the party — and brought their family back together. Eric thanked Felicia for showing the family how it had lost its way and its perspective on things. He told her she will always hold a special place in their family. Stephanie called for an ambulance to take Felicia to the hospital. Felicia cradled baby Dominick as Stephanie urged Felicia to keep fighting for her life. Stephanie asked Felicia to consider buying herself more time with a liver transplant. Felicia cried "Help me," as she went limp and appeared to die in Stephanie’s arms.

Massimo grew impatient as everyone downstairs waited for the wedding to resume. Jackie urged Massimo to exercise restraint and give Nick a chance to talk to Brooke to work things out on their own. Upstairs, Eric and Stephanie consoled Bridget, who told Eric that Nick loves her but not in the same way, and said that someone else will come along for her. Bridget told Eric he was all she really ever needed. Eric and Bridget shared a sweet embrace as Stephanie looked on. Brooke was upset as she hashed things out with Nick and Ridge, who told Nick he wouldn’t allow Nick to spoil things any further. Nick reminded Ridge that he’s not yet married to Brooke. Nick instructed Ridge to go downstairs and tell everyone to go home because Brooke deserves better: No more disappointments or battles with Stephanie. Brooke took the wind out of sailor Nick’s sails when she told him that she believes Ridge is truly sorry for his past mistakes. Nick grilled Ridge on his past errors and questioned Ridge’s commitment as a father. Nick and Ridge continued to trash each other as they made their cases to Brooke.

Bridget came downstairs to inform everyone the wedding was off for today. An enraged Massimo raced upstairs and ordered Nick to leave and stop disrupting the ceremony. Nick insisted that Brooke doesn’t really want to marry Ridge. Nick questioned if this has to do with deference to Massimo’s older son. Massimo insisted that he was concerned about both of his son’s welfare equally, and said he would not have the Marone family disgraced by infighting the way the Forrester family has been. He ordered Nick to stay away from Brooke and let the wedding continue as planned. Meanwhile, Stephanie pulled Brooke aside to persuade her that Ridge is really her second choice and that Nick is her true love. Brooke called Stephanie on her ulterior motives for encouraging her to dump Ridge for Nick. Stephanie pointed out that Nick has never disappointed her while Ridge has. She then asked Brooke if she didn’t want to free herself from the eternal antagonism that exists between the two of them. She encouraged Brooke to give up the obsession she has with her family and demanded that Brooke follow her heart...to Nick. Ridge entered and angrily told Stephanie to leave if she can’t support him and Brooke. Then he changed his mind and told Stephanie and Nick to stay so they could observe his heartfelt declaration of love to Brooke. He said if his mother and brother can’t support them, then so be it. He asked Brooke point-blank if spending the rest of her life with him is what she really wants. Stephanie piped up and asked Brooke to please answer Ridge’s question and settle once and for all which man she truly wants.

Dante reassured Felicia that Dominick is going to be fine after she dies. Felicia gave Dante papers that grant legal guardianship for Dominick to Dante and Bridget. Dante informed Felicia that Bridget left Nick. Dante told Felicia he understood how important it is for Dominick to be raised in a loving two-parent household, and hoped that one day it might be him and Bridget. But he told Felicia that no one could ever replace her, and he promised to do his best by their son. Felicia thanked him before passing out in bed.
