B&B Recaps Week of March 27, 2006

Friday, March 31, 2006
Despite the doc's warnings that she could die, Stephanie demanded Dr. Ramirez allow her to donate part of her liver to Felicia. Ramirez called the transplant team, and Steph was prepped for surgery. Eric and Steph exchanged "I love yous." The doc returned with the good news that a liver is on the way; Stephanie didn't have to donate her own after all. Eric complimented his wife on her sacrifices to bring their daughter back. "You are magnificent," he said before Stephanie fell asleep.

Brooke apologized to Ridge for yelling at him. He claimed she chose Nick simply out of fear, and that their love story will never end. Brooke told Ridge she wants a family and quiet life with Nick, then left.

While chatting about Ridge, Taylor and Nick downed shots of bourbon until she vomited on his lap. After she cleaned up, Taylor discussed the items that came from the pocket of Nick's pants, including a lucky rock.

What did Nick give Taylor to drink after she threw up?

In Felicia's room, Eric adjusted to the revelation that his daughter is still alive. Sharing a warm moment, Stephanie admitted that she's never sure what she's doing unless she argues with Eric about it first. Steph admitted that the reason she came clean about Felicia now was that she couldn't stand to see Eric grieve. Christian entered and asked them to step outside for a moment. He examined Felicia and told her, "You've done your part ... I don't want to lose you now." Felicia opened her eyes, which caused the good doc to smile. In the waiting area, Eric and Steph discussed Felicia's condition and the chances of getting her a donor. Steph said she'd already been tested to be a donor. Eric realized that Steph had forged the donation paperwork and reminded her that she could go to jail for that.

"Her white count is still low," Christian announced after emerging from Felicia's room. "She's regaining consciousness ... of a sort," he added cryptically. Steph rushed into her daughter's room, where Felicia spoke her first words. "I ... hate ... you," she whispered. "Get away from me." Steph and Eric were flummoxed. Then it dawned on Steph that the women had had this same argument when Felicia was a teen. Dr. Christian said Felicia's brain was being affected by her condition. Steph wanted the doctor to use her liver, but Christian said it was too risky for the donor. La Forrester didn't want to hear it. She was willing to assume whatever risk was necessary, stating that she'd already lived her life — now she wanted her daughter to have that same chance.

In a room cluttered with empty booze bottles, Taylor slept through the doorbell, so Nick entered and saw her passed out on the couch. He shook her legs and she came around. "What?" Taylor huffed. "I thought you quit this stuff?" Nick asked. "I changed my mind," she replied. When Taylor inquired about what he was doing there, Nick stated that he was checking up on her. "Whatever happened to privacy," she sniffed before pouring herself another drink. Then Taylor told him to go back to Brooke, but he'd better take a number. "I'll get loaded with you," offered Nick, saying that's what a good friend would do. A good friend would take her to Alcoholics Anonymous, Taylor shot back. "I don't think you're an alcoholic. You're a wannabe." "I don't like your attitude," Taylor replied, guzzling her wine.

Ridge told Brooke that his life was all about her. "I've committed myself," he insisted, but she remained skeptical. "You don't have to settle for a second choice in life," he commented, referring to her relationship with his half brother, Nick. Ridge told her that there was no such thing as "too late" when it came to them. He declared that he wasn't leaving without an answer, and refused to believe her love for Nick was real. Ridge then recounted their last aborted wedding day. When Brooke tried to get him to leave, she couldn't finish her sentence. "Why not?" quizzed Ridge. Brooke cited that she'd never do to her kids what her mom did to her — marry a man who'd leave his family. "I am never going to give my children a father who has nothing to offer them. Never!"

Eric was shocked to find out Felicia is alive. Stephanie explained how she saved their daughter and that treatment on her had begun. Eric became upset. "I promised she wouldn't end up like this," he raged. Stephanie reminded him that just the day before he wished for one more time, even a minute, with Felicia. "She needs the both of us," Stephanie begged. Eric finally softened and sat at Felicia's bedside. He suddenly jumped up when he felt the undeniable presence of her spirit. "Thank you, God," he said tearfully, then kissed Stephanie passionately.

Ridge was surprised to find Bridget packing to move into Dante's house. She assured her big bro it was to be closer to Dominick. Ridge was elated to learn that Brooke won't jump in the sack with Nick until his divorce with Bridget is final. Ridge surmised that Brooke isn't truly in love with Nick and she is only trying to teach Ridge a lesson. "You're wrong," Bridget insisted.

Nick informed Brooke that he was trying to rush his divorce along. After he left, Ridge showed up. "I know what you're up to Logan," he announced. "Game on!" Meanwhile, Jackie told Nick that Eric was seeking a divorce. Nick was skeptical, but that didn't shake his mum's confidence. "All things come to those who wait," Jackie smiled. "Eric loves me."

Bridget arrived at Stephanie's house to pick up Dominick and was surprised to learn the tot was still asleep. "It's my fault," said Steph. "I kept him up late." When Bridget retrieved Dominick, Stephanie was concerned to see how attached her stepdaughter was to him. Steph was shocked when Bridget revealed that she is now Dominick's legal guardian. Bridget returned to Dante's house and he was thrilled to see his son again. She suggested that she move in so she could be a full-time mother. Dante happily agreed. They sealed their deal with a kiss.

Christian was encouraged by a comatose Felicia's vital signs. The doc tenderly held her hand and vowed they would get through this crisis together. "I'm doing everything I can to give you a second chance," Christian whispered and his words seemed to sink into Felicia's subconscious.

Jackie paid Eric a visit. He was obviously still distraught over Felicia's death but said he missed Jackie very much. She was understanding of his situation and advised him to share his grief with Stephanie. "She doesn't need me," Eric insisted, then announced he would ask for a divorce as soon as possible. He went home and observed his wife's agitated state over Bridget's bond with Dominick. Eric urged Stephanie to accept Felicia's death. "We have to pull ourselves together and move on," he explained. Claiming she couldn't carry her burden alone any longer, Stephanie escorted Eric to the hospital. She asked for his forgiveness and he stepped into Felicia's room.

After Felicia was removed from life support, her vital signs began to falter. Stephanie naturally freaked, but Felicia began to breathe on her own. "Is she going to make it?" La Forrester asked Christian; he expressed that Felicia's survival was now all up to her. "I know what she needs and I'm going to get it for her," Steph declared, then bolted from the room, leaving behind a stunned Christian.

Nick and Brooke were having a hard time refraining from giving into their passion. He advised they work on his boat to distract them. "We could erect the mast," Brooke suggested, which of course didn't quell his libido. They finally cooled down and Nick worried about Ridge's interference. Brooke assured Nick that, "you're my future now" and left. Taylor arrived and wished Nick good luck, then warned that Brooke and Ridge always wind up together.

Bridget was overwhelmed — but thrilled — by the document that named her Dominick's legal guardian. As she and Dante were bonding with the tyke, Stephanie showed up and asked if she could take her grandson for the night. Bridget was reluctant to oblige but finally capitulated. "Just bring him back in the morning," Dante requested and they handed Dominick over to his grandma. "This little boy is a miracle worker," Bridget pointed out. "That's what I'm hoping for," Steph replied. Stephanie raced to the hospital and laid Dominick on Felicia. "He needs you, we need you," Steph begged. The doctors were shocked when their patient's vital signs began to improve, then stabilize.
