Massimo told Nick Brooke has a family with his brother, and that any closer connection to her would be disgraceful. Nick said he thought Massimo would adjust in time. Massimo replied that in time Nick would be sorrier still. Nick mocked Massimo by asking him if Massimo would break his kneecaps if he didn’t comply. Massimo tried the soft sell, and told Nick he could appreciate why Nick would be attracted to Brooke. Massimo pleaded with Nick not to do this to his brother and to him. Massimo said he’s not rescuing a family by doing this, he’s destroying one. Massimo said if Nick refuses to believe that he’s wrong that at least he’ll have one son and grandson who could enjoy his empire. Nick said he can live without Massimo’s money or his inheritance. Massimo agreed, but said he thought Nick would value his place in the family. Massimo asserted himself as head of the family, and said that sometimes the head of the family must make difficult decisions like this. Nick said if the door closes between them he won’t be the one to shut it but he won’t fight it, either, and cautioned Massimo to rethink before making the next move.

Megan told Jackie about her promotion at Forrester. Eric paid Jackie a visit. Eric apologized for not returning her messages and getting back to her sooner. Jackie said he had nothing to apologize about given how he’s still recovering from the loss of Felicia. Jackie asked Eric about when he can dissolve his marriage to Stephanie now that Felicia is dead. Eric shocked Jackie by telling her that Felicia is actually alive. Eric explained how and why Stephanie had kept it a secret. Jackie asked about Felicia’s wishes. Eric said it wasn’t Felicia’s wish to die. Jackie angrily asked why Eric wasn’t angry with Stephanie for her deceit, and compared it to Stephanie’s fake heart attack. Eric told Jackie he can’t feel anything but gratitude toward Steph. Jackie said she felt selfish for asking but she wanted to know when it’s going to be “her” turn. Jackie accused Stephanie of trying to bring her marriage to Eric back to life by bringing Felicia back to life. Eric said he wasn’t up to having this conversation now, but reassured her that he’s not trying to backpedal out of his engagement to Jackie. Jackie put on a brave face and told Eric to take all the time he needed to sort things out in his family. Eric kissed Jackie goodbye. Shortly after Eric left, the authorities bust in and arrested Jackie after Massimo made a phone call to confirm that the arrest was put into motion.

Ridge told Brooke he asked Stephanie to step down so that they could run Forrester together. Brooke couldn’t believe that Steph would ever say yes. Ridge smugly predicted that Brooke would soon run out of reasons to turn him down. Brooke said that ain’t gonna happen — she’s still committed to Nick. Ridge declared he’s going to prove to Brooke who is safe to trust, and who is not. Ridge left, confident in his ability to sway Brooke’s mind. Nick visited Brooke and informed her that he’d been disinherited and cut out of the Marone family if he stays with her. Brooke was dismayed by Massimo’s actions, but Nick reassured her that he didn’t care.

On the beach, Nick and Brooke took a break from dismantling their camp site to make out while the kids’ backs were turned. As the two reveled in their love, Nick said he loves to make her happy. Back on the Marlin, Brooke recalled to Nick that she didn’t have much growing up, and that she didn’t have the things she thought would make her happy. Back at the docks Brooke thanked Nick for a wonderful time. Ridge stormed into Massimo’s office, upset that he had waited 24 hours, like he promised his father, but still no sign of Nick and Brooke. Massimo showed Ridge on his computer that the Marlin was headed back to port. Massimo pleaded with Ridge not to confront Nick and Brooke, but to instead allow Massimo to intervene peacefully. Massimo ordered to have his car and driver pick Nick up at the docks. Massimo’s driver told Nick that his father wanted to see him. Nick told the driver he was too busy.

Brooke returned home with the kids and ran into Ridge, who was happy to see Hope and RJ. Hope told Ridge of their adventures, and remarked that maybe Ridge could join them the next time. Ridge noted Brooke’s “Pirate Booty” T-shirt, and reminded Brooke he was supposed to take RJ to a car show. Brooke apologized for forgetting, but insisted that her future was with Nick. Ridge told Brooke her decision was wrong. Brooke said she doesn’t believe in her “destiny” with Ridge any more. Nick reluctantly met Massimo after all, on Massimo’s jet. Massimo surprised a suspicious Nick with champagne, caviar and a lavish lunch. Massimo explained to Nick that since his empire will one day be Nick and Ridge’s, he has to protect it from all enemies outside and inside the family — and therefore Nick and Brooke are through. As Nick digested Massimo’s off-the-cuff edict, Massimo suggested they jet to Vegas and “let their hair down” for a while.

Christian checked Felicia’s vitals. Felicia expressed her excitement at having her son and family visit her. Felicia asked Christian how much time she has left to live. Christian insisted she will be around for a long time. Eric and Stephanie visited Bridget and Dante, and learned that Dante has renamed baby Dominick Dino. Eric and Stephanie told them they have something wonderful they want to share with them, and asked them to accompany them. Eric and Stephanie took Bridget, Dante and Dino to Felicia’s private hospital. Stephanie asked Dante to watch Dino as they took Bridget aside and brought her to Christian, who told Bridget that there’s someone very special waiting to see her. They took her into Felicia’s room. Felicia called out to Bridget, who was flabbergasted at the sight of her sister alive. Bridget cried tears of joy at the realization. Felicia told Bridget she loved her, and vice versa. Christian told Bridget that Felicia’s cancer is now under control. Eric explained they kept it a secret because they didn’t want to risk hurting everyone again with false hope. Dante joined them and was shocked to see Felicia was alive as well. Stephanie brought Dominick over to Felicia. Felicia rejoiced at reuniting with her son, while Dante and Bridget realized the ramifications of Felicia’s “return” on their status as the boy’s new “parents.”

On the beach, Nick and Brooke enjoyed quality time around the campfire with Hope and RJ. Nick pulled out his guitar and played and sang “If you’re happy and you know it” for the kids. Afterwards Nick suggested it was their bedtime, but Hope asked Nick for a story first. Nick told them a story about the sailor Blue-eyed Bill who ignored attention from all the other women because he had a special girl waiting for him, and knowingly exchanged glances with Brooke. Nick’s long-winded bedtime story put Hope to sleep. With both kids asleep, Nick reassured Brooke that Bridget is going to be fine. Brooke reveled in the idea that everything is finally working out for all of them — on the very island where they fell in love. Brooke said this is the answer to so many of her prayers. Brooke asked Nick to sing her a song — their song (Jack Wagner's "Coming Home Again."). Brooke said their song is the one thing that’s given her hope when nothing else could. Nick serenaded her softly. Afterward Brooke declared that they really have gone back to each other. Nick gave Brooke his word that he’d never leave her or her children, ever.

At the clinic, Christian informed Eric and Stephanie of Felicia’ latest test results: she’s improving dramatically, and there’s every expectation that she’s going to make it. A hopeful Eric and Steph went into Felicia’s room to see for themselves. They took turns talking to their daughter. When Steph asked Felicia if she could hear her, Felicia squeezed her mother's hand. Felicia’s eyes slowly opened and came into focus. Felicia weakly asked them if she was in Heaven. Eric said, “No, but we are.” Felicia asked them what was happening. Stephanie told Felicia that she’s alive. Felicia couldn’t believe it at first. Eric and Stephanie told Felicia that she had a liver transplant. Felicia tearfully thanked them. Stephanie introduced Felicia to Christian as the doctor who saved her. Felicia told them she needs her son now. Christian said Felicia needs to rest. Felicia told Stephanie and Eric how much she loved them.

Ridge fumed as he and Massimo exhausted all of their leads on tracking down Nick and Brooke. Ridge accused Nick of hiJACKing his family. Ridge surmised that there wasn’t enough time to take her to Hawaii, so he must have taken Brooke to the Channel Islands. Ridge asked Massimo to get the chopper ready. Massimo asked Ridge to calm down and think. Massimo said if he wants a relationship with Brooke he can’t solve things with a sledgehammer...he’s got to cut the tie between Nick and Brooke with a scalpel. Massimo insisted that Ridge exercise some restraint. Let Massimo try to speak to Nick first. Mass vowed to threaten Nick with consequences if he doesn’t listen.

Nick, Brooke, Hope and RJ arrived at their "private island" and continued their pirate-themed treasure hunt. Nick began setting up one tent on the beach, while Brooke insisted on setting up another one with the kids. She finished in record time, while Nick continued to flounder in mounds of fabric. Nick gave up on the tent and went on to entertain the kids with little songs, stories and a treasure map. Later, Brooke told Nick how good he was for the kids, and for her. She made him promise that he'd never leave them. He promised. They made out on the beach while the kids played in the tent.

Ridge arrived at Brooke's house, looking to take RJ to a car show (the babe's a bit young for wheels, no?) and found an empty nest instead. He complained to Massimo that Nick had struck again. Ridge fumed while Mass took his side. Mass called the harbor and found out that the Shady Marlin had indeed set sail.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline came looking for Eric at the office and found Stephanie instead. Jackie offered faux sympathy for Eric asking Steph for a divorce, but La Forrester reported that Eric did no such thing. "We shared something rather incredible," Stephanie intimated. Jackie countered by dropping the bomb that she and Eric remained engaged, and showed her the ring. Stephanie replied that things have changed.

Christian continued to boggle over baby Dino, whom he recognized as Felicia's child. Bridget explained that he was her late sister's boy, which made the doctor even more uncomfortable. Christian received a page and said he had to return to the clinic, but instead he made a beeline to Stephanie at Forrester. Steph kicked Jackie out to talk with the doctor. Once Jackie left, Christian insisted the other Forresters be told that Felicia is still alive. Stephanie fretted that if she tells them and Felicia doesn't make it, they'll have to deal with her death all over again. He insisted that they deserved to know; her death was affecting them all terribly and it was giving Bridget time to bond with Felicia's child.

After Christian left, Bridget and Dante flirted at the barbecue. Bridget gushed about how much Dante has come to mean to her. They cuddled with Dino as Dante assured her they would never leave her.

While making out on the sofa, Nick explained the method to his madness regarding getting trashed with Taylor: It’s best to make a non-alcoholic overindulge so they’ll never want to get drunk again. Brooke then admitted to Nick that Ridge visited her last night to apologize for walking out on her. She told him Ridge thinks she has abandoment issues because her father left her, and that’s why she’s turned to Nick. Nick reassured her that she can trust him and that he’ll always be there for Brooke, and said that’s what really scares Ridge. Later, sporting an eyepatch, Nick talked like a pirate and invited Hope, RJ and Brooke to set sail with him on his boat for an adventure to find buried treasure on an island. After the kids get excited about it, Brooke had no choice but to agree to go. They all boarded the Marlin with matching scarves on their head, rasied a pirate flag on the mast, and happily set sail.

Christian told Stephanie that just because Felicia hasn’t rejected the liver doesn’t mean she wouldn’t, but that things are stable right now. Hector teased Christian about him just showing up unexpectedly on his big brother’s doorstep, and asked Christian about his “star patient.” Christian explained he’s spent every waking moment at the clinic helping his patient, which didn’t give him a chance to let Hector know he was in town. Hector was excited to introduce Christian to Bridget. At the barbecue, Bridget and Dante told Thorne that they’re now calling baby Dominick Dino. Privately, Darla congratulated Bridget on her budding potential relationship with Dante. Hector and Christian arrived and introduced Christian to everyone, including Bridget, who was intrigued to learn Christian was a doctor as well. When she asked Christian what his specialties are, Christian said he had several, but right now he was working on helping a cancer patient. Christian’s remarks caused uncomfortable silence in the room. Bridget told him she had just lost a sister to cancer, and remarked that it was too bad he didn’t come to town sooner, or maybe he could have helped her. Outside Bridget proclaimed her gratitude to Dante for raising Dino together with her. Bridget got the baby when she heard him start to fuss. Christian was stunned speechless when he saw Dino and recognized him as Felicia’s baby.

Stephanie told Ridge she has some good news. Ridge said he needed his mother’s help to right a wrong. Stephanie said she’d obviously do anything she could to help her children. Ridge said he realized Brooke’s reluctance to get back with Ridge is because of her abandonment issues. Stephanie said that might explain part of her behavior but it doesn’t make it right. Ridge said he understood he needs to work extra hard to prove to her that he’d never walk out on her and the kids again. Ridge asked Stephanie to tear up the paper that makes her CEO of Forrester, to allow Ridge and Brooke to work together running the company. Ridge said without Brooke and his son he has nothing. Ridge begged his mother to help him get his family and his life back. Ridge returned to pick up RJ and Hope, only to find an empty house. Ridge spotted an eye patch on the foyer table and surmised where Brooke and the kids must be.
