B&B Recaps Week of April 10, 2006

Friday, April 14, 2006
In court, the judge began a lengthy preamble about him having a hard time deciding on Jackie's bail. Nick angrily told the judge to just cut to the chase and render his verdict — but then apologized for his outburst. The judge praised Massimo for defending his ex, but said ultimately he had no choice but to deny Jackie bail, and ordered her back to jail. Jackie became distraught and Nick's temper almost got him a seat beside his mother in the slammer when he angrily approached the judge. Jackie tearfully lashed out at Massimo and accused him of being behind her arrest as she was led way by the guards in cuffs. Nick vowed to get his mother out of jail.

Felicia reassured Bridget that she is Dominick's mother, too, and that both she and Dominick still need her very much. Upset at the apparent parental ramifications of Felicia being alive, Bridget asked Dante to take her home. Felicia refused to let Bridget leave and apologized to Bridget for not being more sensitive to the circumstances. Felicia thanked Bridget for coming through for her when Bridget thought she was dead. Bridget admitted when Nicole died she never thought she could feel anything again, until she bonded with Dominick. Bridget said thanks to him she started to feel alive again. Bridget admired how the power of love also allowed Felicia to recover. Felicia revealed when she thought she was dying she knew she could let go, because her baby would be left in Bridget's capable hands. Bridget said if Dino/Dominick is now with Felicia then she no longer has a baby. Felicia insisted that Dominick is their son. Bridget wasn't sure if she could go along with such an unwieldy arrangement. Felicia reassured Bridget that no matter what happens to her she will always want Dominick to love Bridget just as much as Felicia. After clearing the air, the sisters became closer. Bridget told Felicia she'd love her even if they weren't related, and said she'd be proud to share Dominick. Felicia vowed to never let anything come between them.

In the other room, Christian told Dante he had feared Bridget's growing attachment to Dominick was only going to lead to trouble once everyone learned that Felicia was really alive. Christian's observations rubbed Dante the wrong way. Christian apologized for getting off on the wrong foot with Dante, but Dante was clearly not interested in becoming buds with Christian. Christian and Dante rejoined Bridget and Felicia with good news: Felicia's latest test results showed her white blood cell count was almost back to normal!

Brooke paid Massimo a visit. Massimo said he was expecting her to drop by. Brooke said likewise, she was expecting his machinations, having been a graduate of the "Stephanie Forrester School of Parental Manipulation." Massimo complimented her by saying he could understand why both his sons would be attracted to her. Brooke accused Massimo of setting up Jackie to punish her as well as Brooke, "for loving the wrong son." Massimo insisted that Brooke belongs with Ridge. Things escalated, and the two traded threats. Brooke warned him that Nick will never forgive Massimo if Nick gets proof that Massimo framed Jackie.

A gloved figure inserted keys into the doors of Jackie M's offices and gained entry. Soon after, Nick entered the offices himself and quietly began to look through files on a desk. Nick heard noise coming from another office. He investigated and discovered the "gloved one" — Megan — rummaging through company files herself.

Nick, Brooke, Eric and Massimo showed up for Jackie's bail hearing. During the proceeding, it was revealed that evidence of Jackie's crimes were obtained from her computer files. Massimo offered to post bail but the D.A. considered her a flight risk and asked that bail be denied. "My mother has never had so much of a speeding ticket," an upset Nick blurted. Massimo argued that his wife should be released but the D.A. then asked why he and Jackie are no longer married. Mass had no choice but to reveal that his ex-wife had an affair with a man who had a criminal past. In light of those details, the judge announced he was ready to render his decision. Jackie jumped to her feet and tearfully begged him not to send her back to custody.

Felicia expressed her concern to Christian over Bridget's attachment to Dino. Right on cue, Bridget called to check up on her sister and asked if she and Dante could come over for a visit. Felicia gave her okay then told Christian it was time for her Mohawk to go. Felicia handed him the clippers and the doc sensually shaved off the rest of her hair. "You look beautiful," Christian declared and they kissed. Bridget and Dante arrived and she offered to bring Dino over for more sleepovers. Bridget was shocked when her sister announced that Dino would be living permanently with her now.

Brooke was stunned when Nick told her that Massimo would only help Jackie if Nick ended his relationship with Brooke. "I'm not going to let Massimo come between us," insisted Brooke. Jackie's attorney called Nick with the news that her bond hearing was scheduled for tomorrow. Brooke promised to support Nick during his time of need.

The Forresters were reveling in their reunion with Felicia. They toasted to her resurrection, even though Felicia wasn't allowed to drink any champagne. She was thrilled when Bridget and Dante showed up with Dino. Bridget could tell her sister didn't like the new nickname. Felicia was taken back to the guest house to rest where she cuddled with her baby. Bridget and Dante followed and he observed that Bridget was having a hard time sharing Dino. After they left, Felicia acknowledged that Bridget was having difficulty letting go of Dino. Elsewhere, Bridget sobbed to Dante how much she loves his son.

When Eric left to visit Jackie at the federal courthouse, Stephanie revealed to her children that their father proposed to Jackie. They weren't pleased to hear this news. Meanwhile, Eric vowed to stand by Jackie through her ordeal. After Eric left, Jackie was thrilled when Massimo showed up. "You're going to help me, aren't you?" she asked. Mass spelled out the terms of her release: Convince their son to give up Brooke. Jackie was aghast.

Ridge, Thorne, Kristen and Darla were creeped out when they entered their parents' home and found Felicia's framed photo surrounded by lit candles. They assumed their mother had still not accepted Felicia's death. Meanwhile, Eric, Stephanie and Christian brought Felicia into the guest house, where she will stay during her recuperation. Felicia was disturbed to see that her hair was falling out due to the chemotherapy. Handing her mother a pair of scissors, she demanded, "Cut it off!" Later, Stephanie and Eric returned to their house to talk with their confused kids. Instead of trying to explain what's been going on, they had Christian wheel in Felicia, who was sporting a Mohawk. Not surprisingly, her siblings were in shock by the sight of their supposedly dead sister. "I told you the new 'do would be too much for them," Felicia joked. After Stephanie explained how her daughter cheated death, the Forresters rejoiced in having Felicia returned to them.

Massimo sniffed to Nick that he cut off all connections with Jackie, so why should he raise a finger to help her now? Mass then raged about how his wife allowed Deacon to seduce her. Nick again asked for his dad's help but Mass made a veiled threat by demanding that his son start respecting Ridge's family and let Brooke go. Nick refused and stormed out.

Jackie was horrified to learn that she would have to spend the night in jail until her bail hearing the next day. An agent urged her to confess, but Jackie angrily denied she committed the crimes she was accused of. Jackie then warned the agent that her ex-husband was a very powerful man.

Brooke and Nick reaffirmed their love for each other, despite Massimo's strong objections. Brooke felt bad for causing a rift between father and son but Nick insisted they were doing the right thing by following their hearts.

Ridge seethed upon seeing a photo of Nick and Brooke together. Massimo tried to calm his son down. "I will handle things," Mass vowed but that didn't appease Ridge. Massimo angrily recalled how he too was betrayed and flashbacked to Deacon.

At the federal building, Jackie voiced her innocence to the FBI. She called Nick and he rushed over. Nick and Jackie were informed that she was being charged with tax fraud, tax evasion and money laundering. Nick wanted to post bail right away but he was told to wait. Jackie was then frisked and her mug shot was taken. Nick tracked down Massimo and asked him to help Jackie. Mass told Nick he needed to stop chasing after Brooke for Ridge's sake. Nick then realized that his dad could be behind Jackie's arrest and demanded to know the truth.
