Brooke dealt with the aftermath of Ridge sleeping with her while she was medicated. She was shocked that Taylor would accuse her of pretending to be drugged so she could have sex with Ridge. The ladies were interrupted by a call from Sally. She reported that Nick had overheard Sally mention that Ridge was in Big Bear. Brooke freaked out and rushed up there. Stephen then arrived and told Taylor that he doesn't want Brooke near Ridge. She feared that Nick would kill Ridge and noted that Brooke's forgiven Forrester.

Ridge and Nick had a tense encounter as Ridge stood before him with a gun (and wow, based on those close-ups, the guys on this show wear a lot of makeup!). He then surprised Nick when he shot apart a certain household object. "It's my mother's gun; it's always loaded," stated Ridge. "I could tear you apart right now," whispered Nick. "When a woman says no and you do it anyway, that's rape." Ridge explained that Brooke has forgiven him. Nick couldn't believe this. Ridge argued that "[their] chemistry is like a force of nature." The same might be said for Nick and Ridge as the two men fought, rolling around on the floor, grabbing and groping at each other. Brooke then arrived, insisting they stop it. Nick vowed that Ridge would never hurt Brooke again.

Stephanie and Felicia discussed Dante and Bridget taking Dino on a trip. Steph didn't see the point, arguing that the baby wouldn't even remember it. Steph promised to "take care" of it. Felicia sang Bridget's praises and thought Dino should get a chance to know and love the pair. Steph thought the baby should be with her, pointing out that Dante and Bridget could hold onto him for longer if they want. Way to stir the pot, Steph. Meanwhile, on the nearly-empty plane, Bridget sat with Dino. She suggested that they return a day or two early to surprise Felicia. They were then asked to de-plane; Bridge concluded that Stephanie was behind this. They soon returned home and told Felicia that Stephanie is contesting Dante's guardianship. Bridget implored Felicia to stand up to Stephanie and let them go on their vacation.

Stephen was furious at Ridge for taking advantage of his doped-up daughter, but Brooke stood up for Ridge. Stephen flew out in a rage, and Ridge apologized again for his reckless amorousness. He stated that he felt he ruined their relationship. She stroked his face and said she knows he didn't want to hurt her. She'd forgive but, she stressed, she'd never forget.

Taylor and Nick discussed their pasts with Brooke and Ridge. Taylor then implied Ridge and Brooke slept together but Nick refused to hear of it. Taylor asked if Brooke was on meds and implied that their respective others' liaison may not have been consensual. Nick called Brooke and asked, "Did he do what I think he did last night?" Nick exploded when she said yes. He shouted, threw things and stormed out. Brooke told Ridge to lay low for a couple of days until she can explain what happened to Nick. Ridge planned to stand his ground like the man he is, but agreed to do what Brooke wanted.

Felicia packed more items for the baby as Dante left her instructions on where they'd be in Italy. They were snippy but civil, thanks to Christian's presence. Meanwhile, Stephanie asked Bridget again to not take Felicia's baby away to Italy while Felicia's in remission. Bridget was still against the idea and refused to change her mind. The women met up with the others and Stephanie sighed to Felicia, "I tried." Bridget told Felicia that she should consider Dante's feelings about introducing his son to his family. The women agreed they still loved each other and agreed to disagree. Felicia handed the kid over to Bridget, and they headed out. Felicia and Christian wished them a safe trip, then Felicia ripped on Steph, "You promised this wouldn't happen!" "Yes, I did," Steph cryptically replied.

Nick inadvertently found out Ridge's location from Sally and headed off, while Taylor went to see Brooke, thinking Nick was there. Taylor reiterated to her nemesis that Ridge was ashamed, but asked Brooke what it was like to, "Have her cake and eat it, too." There goes the name-calling! Then, Taylor told Brooke that she believes Brooke knew what she was doing. Later, a furious Nick found Ridge, who pulled out a rifle and stated, "Back off, little brother."

A guilt-ridden Ridge confessed to Taylor that he had sex with Brooke. "I made a mess of things, Doc," he admitted. "It wasn't exactly consensual." Taylor was shocked. "What did you do, Ridge?" she asked. He explained how Brooke was out of it on medication when he made love to her.

Nick could see that Brooke was greatly troubled, but she wouldn't say why. Stephen arrived and Nick wouldn't let him enter. Brooke said it was okay, then asked Nick if she could have a private talk with her dad. After Nick left, Stephen tried to get closer with his daughter, but she was obviously agitated and distracted. "This isn't about you," she explained. "I've never been more confused in my life." Stephen started to defend Ridge, which upset Brooke. "What happened between you two last night?" he asked. Brooke admitted that Ridge got in bed with her while she was incapacitated. While Stephen was in the other room, Ridge arrived and apologized for the previous night. When he tenderly placed his hands on her arms, Stephen returned and ordered Ridge not to touch Brooke. "If you ever hurt my little girl again, I'll make you pay in ways you'd never imagine!" Daddy Logan seethed.

An angry Nick searched for Ridge in his office and barged in on Taylor. He demanded to know what her ex-husband did to Brooke.

Felicia was frantic that Bridget and Dante would leave the country with Dino. Stephanie faxed the guardianship papers to her lawyer so that Felicia could be made her son's legal parent again. Steph assured her daughter that Dino wasn't going anywhere. Christian tired to calm Felicia, then told Stephanie he would do anything to help. Steph vowed that Felicia and Dino would not be separated again.

Jackie snapped at Massimo for his part in landing her behind bars. He explained that he's trying to make things right with Nick by urging him to stay away from Brooke. "You're going to lose," Massimo uttered to his son, pointing out that Brooke always returns to Ridge. When Nick and Jackie headed out, Massimo smugly told Nick to knock before entering Brooke's bedroom because he will most likely find her in bed with Ridge.

A groggy Brooke woke up next to Ridge, who was babbling about loving her and missing them being together. Brooke cringed when she realized she slept with Ridge. "Pills," she mumbled. A hurt Ridge realized Brooke had taken anxiety medicine and therefore wasn't with it when they had sex. "Just go," she insisted. Ridge apologized to a weeping Brooke, then left. Nick walked in and informed Brooke that Massimo was behind Jackie's jailing. He quickly realized how shaky and upset Brooke was, then saw the tranquilizers in her hand. She said they were her father's. Nick asked if her dad had been there, then learned it was Ridge who was there while he was away. "I want you to tell me what happened here tonight," said Nick.

Felicia was upset that Bridget and Dante were still taking Dominick to Italy, even though she asked them not to take him away from her. Stephanie walked in and, of course, contributed her two cents. "The baby should stay here, where he belongs," she said. Bridget and Steph argued about which woman the child should be with. Stephanie pointed out that the boy is helping Felicia get better. "I feel like I'm your understudy," snapped Bridget to Felicia. Steph agreed that Bridget shouldn't have to put her life on hold, and that she should raise the child. A furious Bridget pointed out to the women that Dante doesn't need permission from them to take Dino out of the country. Felicia broke down, worried that something will happen to her while her son is gone. Steph assured her that the boy will not be going anywhere. After calming down, Bridget talked with Felicia about figuring out the best way to deal with their "challenging" situation. Bridget assured Felicia she will never take her place in Dino's life. Felicia said she had a "funny way of showing that." The weeping sisters hugged. Bridget told Felicia she's happy she's alive and back in their lives.

Brooke was out of it on anti-anxiety meds, but Ridge didn't seem to notice that she wasn't herself and kept nuzzling up to her. Brooke tried to resist but was too dazed to put up much of a fight. She went upstairs and took another pill which of course only made her even more woozy. After crawling into her bed, Brooke fell asleep. Ridge got undressed and joined her. "We need this," he cooed as Brooke seemed to pass out.

Felicia was shocked to hear that Bridget and Dante were planning to take Dino out of the country for 10 days to meet Dante's family. "My son is not going to Italy!" declared the worried mom. Bridget and Dante tried to change her mind but Felicia become more agitated. Dante left the room so the sisters could be alone. Felicia said she wanted to spend what precious time she had left with her son. Bridget assured Felicia that her cancer is in remission, but she wasn't convinced. Bridget pointed out that Dante had every right to take Dino on a trip. "Can't I have at least a couple of days to think about it?" Felicia tearfully asked, but Bridget said, "We're leaving tomorrow night."

Nick was surprised to find Megan at Marone Industries. "My relationship with Megan is none of your business," Massimo growled, but Nick suspected that she was involved in Jackie's travails. Megan tearfully apologized and fled the office. Father and son once again started arguing about who Brooke should rightfully be with but Nick wouldn't back down. "Free my mother," Nick ordered. Realizing his son knew too much, Massimo complied by making a phone call. Nick went to the federal building to retrieve a thrilled Jackie who had been released.
