In Cabo, Brooke didn't believe Stephanie's claim that Ridge had a heart attack. Steph begged Brooke to return to L.A. in order to help Ridge recuperate. Stephanie admitted she was wrong by pushing Brooke out of her son's life because Brooke is what Ridge needs. "Put our differences aside and just come back with me now," pleaded the matriarch. "I know that my hatred of you has made me unlovable," she added, then complimented Brooke on being full of love. Steph told Brooke that since his heart attack, Ridge has only mumbled the word "Brooke." Nick often took jabs at Steph, accusing her of lying. Brooke justified helping Ridge by noting he's the father of her son. Stephanie told Brooke she is the most precious person in the world to her because she means the world to Ridge, then hugged her. "Come home with me. Let me be the mother to you that I know you always wanted me to be," Steph said to a teary Brooke.

After speaking with Eric on the phone, Jackie assured Stephen that Ridge did, indeed, have a heart attack. When she mentioned she's engaged to the married Eric, Stephen informed Jackie that Eric did the same thing to his ex-wife. Therefore, Stephen walked away from his family because he was never convinced they would be his, he explained. Just before going in to kiss an off-guard Jackie, Stephen encouraged her to go for what she wants.

In Ridge's hospital room, Felicia snapped when the nurse began unhooking Ridge in order to bring him to get a CAT Scan. Dante kept Felicia company. She asked his honest opinion of her looks, and he gave it. Though he wasn't very complimentary at first, he said she looked beautiful. Felicia kissed the hunk, then said she felt weird about it. She explained she was desperate for a warm body to touch her. He embraced her face.

Nick secretly instructed the hotel to hold all calls. He then joined Brooke for sun and relaxation on the patio. Nick arranged for Brooke to have a massage, but he was visibly surprised when the masseur turned out to be a hunk. Brooke playfully feigned excitement. "Mr. Marone will be inside doing push-ups," she giggled. After her massage, Brooke joined Nick in the hot tub. "Forget about Stephanie," he advised as they splashed around. "I have to admit that I'm going to miss my fashion career," Brooke lamented, but Nick pointed out that she can work with his mother at the Jackie M boutiques. While Brooke and Nick smooched, he accidentally knocked his cell phone into the water.

The doctors were concerned that Ridge still remained unresponsive. Bridget and Felicia showed up to visit him and offered words of encouragement. "You're going to be your same ol' cocky self in no time," Felicia insisted to Big Bro. Massimo arrived and blamed Nick for keeping Brooke away from Ridge. "I lost a son already," huffed an emotional Mass to Ridge. "I'll be damned if I lose another.... I can't lose you."

Stephanie begged Stephen to divulge his daughter's whereabouts. He gave in and Stephanie grabbed the Forrester private jet and headed to Mexico. Jackie came downstairs and Stephen shared that he told Stephanie where she could find Brooke.

En route to Mexico, Stephanie tried to call Brooke again, but encountered her voicemail again. In her message, Steph explained that Ridge was in the hospital. "He loves you," Steph admitted. "I should've respected that." As soon as the jet landed, Stephanie headed to Brooke's hotel and barged into her room. "You have to come back with me to Los Angeles," Steph demanded before announcing that that Ridge had a heart attack. Brooke didn't believe her. "He needs you," Steph declared.

Stephanie and Eric asked Christian why Ridge hasn't come to yet. The doc explained how each patient has their own timeline with recovery, but Steph was certain her son didn't want to come back. Eric urged his wife to call Brooke again. Thomas and Taylor showed up at the hospital to visit Ridge and were upset by his condition. Eric explained to Taylor how Ridge collapsed after arguing with his mom over Brooke. Thomas thanked Hector for helping his dad. "You helped save his life," declared a grateful Taylor. Christian informed Ridge's family that the patient wasn't responding like they wanted him to.

An unconscious Ridge called out for Brooke. In Mexico, Brooke awoke with a start from sleep and could feel that something was wrong. Nick tried to put her at ease, but Brooke was bothered when she listened to a voicemail message that Stephanie needed her. She ignored the message, but Stephanie finally reached her on the phone. "I don't want to ever hear from you again," Brooke hissed and hung up, but she couldn't shake her uneasy intuition.

Stephen stopped by to see his daughter, but found Jackie babysitting Brooke's children instead. Jackie invited him in and while she was upstairs putting the kids down for a nap, Brooke called and was surprised when Stephen answered. "I had this feeling that something wasn't right," Brooke said and asked her father not to tell Stephanie where she is. On cue, La Forrester showed up and demanded to know where Brooke was. "Ridge had a heart attack and he needs her," Stephanie announced. But Stephen was unsympathetic. "He raped her!" he seethed. "I don't care what he wants." Stephanie tried to convince him that she now realizes that Ridge and Brooke belong together. Stephanie asked Stephen to at least let Brooke know that Ridge is gravely ill and that he's asking for her.

The Forrester family gathered at the hospital to keep vigil over a gravely-ill Ridge. Reeling from guilt, Stephanie blamed herself for her son's condition. Eric assured his wife that Ridge's heart ailment wasn't her fault, but she disagreed. She finally admitted that she should've stayed out of her children's lives and vowed to make amends with Brooke. She returned to Ridge's bedside. "I drove her away," Steph said to herself. "But I can get her back." Steph called Brooke's cell phone, but all she got was voicemail. "Brooke, I need you," Stephanie declared.

Dante filled Felicia in on Stephanie's plan to deport him if he doesn't hand over full custody of Dino to Felicia. She wasn't surprised to hear what lengths her mother had gone to once again. Felicia calmed Dante down and promised that she’ll talk to Stephanie and resolve the situation.

Nick and Brooke arrived in sunny Mexico and started their much-needed respite. While relaxing at a luxurious hotel, Brooke told Nick she wanted to be completely honest with him. "I can't stop thinking about Ridge and how I broke his heart," Brooke admitted.

After Ridge collapsed, Stephanie frantically called for help. Thorne, then Hector and the paramedics arrived. Steph was shocked when Hector diagnosed a possible heart attack. Ridge was rushed to the hospital and then into surgery, where Christian assisted. In the waiting room, a worried Stephanie recounted to Thorne how Ridge blamed her for driving Brooke away before he fell to the floor. Thorne assured his mom she didn't cause Ridge's health crisis. Christian came out and explained that Ridge's condition was brought on by a tear in the aortic wall of the heart, exacerbated by high blood pressure and stress. Christian stressed that the next few hours were crucial. Stephanie visited her comatose son in his room. "I'm so sorry," she sobbed. "Please get better. Please come back. Please give me one more chance to make this up to you." Still unconscious, Ridge struggled to say something. Stephanie leaned in close and was amazed to hear him call out for Brooke.

A shirtless Dante presented Bridget with a diamond ring. "I've always loved you," he purred. "You're the only woman for me.... Will you accept this ring?" Bridget stared at the rock. "We never talked about marriage," she pointed out and Dante observed Bridget's hesitancy. "I'm really sorry, but I can't," she whispered (Girl, are you crazy?!). A disappointed Dante listened as Bridget explained she wasn't ready to jump into another marriage. He apologized for misjudging how she felt, but Bridget assured that she wanted for them to just take their time and enjoy each other for the time being.

En route to Mexico for a romantic getaway with Nick on the Marone jet, Brooke unzipped her flight suit to reveal a cute matched pair of bra and panties. The couple then locked themselves in the bathroom to join the mile-high club. "You're the sexiest man I ever made love to on an airplane," gasped a breathless Brooke after they had hot sex. They passionately kissed and then went for another round (Now that's what we call turbulence!) Brooke then got a weird feeling that something was wrong, then reveled that Stephanie was out of her life.
