Stephanie confronted Nick about taking advantage of an emotionally vulnerable Taylor by persuading her to sell her stock shares to him and Stephen. "That's your style not mine," Nick pointed out. "So why don't you get off your high horse and ride on out of her." Jackie walked in on the heated conversation and Stephanie glibly announced that Stephen had bedded Taylor. Jackie couldn't believe this information. Stephanie advised Jackie and Nick that if they truly want to help Brooke, they need to get rid of her father. "Or I will!" Stephanie warned and stalked away.

"You're engaged?" stammered a stupefied Bridget. Dante explained that he moved on with his life after she turned down his proposal. "I hope you both have a wonderful life together," Bridget lied. After she left, Dante was obviously conflicted.

Felicia shared her wedding plans with Eric, but Dad had a hard time giving his blessing because he wasn't sure Dante was the right man for his little girl. But Felicia turned on the charm and Eric softened, even agreeing to create her wedding dress. Later, Bridget showed up and asked Felicia to slow things down with Dante. Felicia begged for her sister's support. "Just be happy for me," Felicia declared.

"I'm trying to make up for my mistakes," Stephen insisted, but Brooke could only remember her painful childhood after he abandoned his family. Stephen couldn't defend his past actions and claimed he is a changed man but Brooke blasted him for her deep-seated feelings of emptiness and loss. "It's too late," Brooke sobbed. Stephen tried to hold her but an emotional Brooke screamed for him to get out.

Brooke called her dad, who was in bed with Jackie, to announce that she and Nick were engaged. Jackie was thrilled with the news.

Nick was upset to find a full-page ad in the newspaper of Brooke in scanty lingerie, heralding the return of Brooke's Bedroom. "This has Forrester's sweaty mitts all over it," Nick seethed. Brooke tried to downplay it and promised to talk to Ridge about the ad. Stephen showed up to find out that his daughter didn't fire the Forresters after all. After Nick left, Brooke confronted her dad about sleeping with Taylor. "What the hell is going on with you?" she demanded. Stephen promised that he and Taylor were over but Brooke reamed him for still causing such chaos in her life. "I don't want you to ruin my life again," Brooke cried. "I want you out of this city and my life forever!"

At the hospital, Christian was concerned that Bridget was working another double shift. She revealed that she wasn't spending much time with Dino anymore since she and Dante called off any potential romance. Bridget admitted to feeling foolish for not being able to connect with someone as fantastic as Dante. "I wasn't ready because I was holding out hope that my ex and I could be together," Bridget groaned. Christian pointed out that it wasn't too late for her to be with Dante. At Christian's urging, she ran out to find Dante.

Felicia and Dante reveled in their marriage plans. "How do you think Bridget is going to take this?" wondered Felicia, but Dante was sure that her sister would be okay. Felicia wasn't so convinced, but was happy about starting a new life with Dante. When Dante went downstairs, Bridget appeared and declared she wanted him. Felicia then called Bridget and announced that she and Dante were engaged! "That's wonderful," sighed Bridget.

Stephanie apologized profusely to Brooke. "Old habits die hard," sighed Brooke and asked Stephanie to respect her decision to run Forrester from Marone. Steph declared that as long as Brooke doesn't cause any problems, then she is fine with the arrangement. When Stephanie hugged Brooke again, Ridge walked in and smiled at the sight (instead of running for cover in case the roof caves in). Brooke left and Stephanie worried how she could convince her former nemesis that she belongs with their family. Ridge predicted that before Brooke's Bedroom is launched, he and Brooke will be back together.

"Love can be tricky, especially when it comes to my mom," Bridget told Nick. He sensed that she was still harboring feelings for him and urged her to move on. They both agreed it was time to let go and shared a warm embrace. He tracked down Brooke and once again voiced his displeasure over her working with the Forresters. She assured him that her future was with Nick, but that did little to appease him. "I want to marry you and be the mother of your children," insisted Brooke. Nick gave in and presented her with an engagement ring. "At least say you're gonna love and honor because we both know you're not going to obey," he quipped as he slipped the ring on her finger. Nick then popped the question and Brooke happily said yes!

Felicia enjoyed watching Dante play with Dino. "This little guy is the best thing that ever happened to me," she rhapsodized, then exchanged a tender look with Dante. As she put the tot to bed, Dante eyed the box that held the engagement ring that Bridget turned down. Felicia came back and revealed that Dante doesn't have to worry about the threat of deportation from her mother anymore. Dante suggested that Felicia and Dino come with him to Italy to visit his family. After they kissed, Dante proposed. "You're crazier than I am," laughed Felicia and she accepted.

Stephanie asked Brooke if she's with her or not. Brooke asked if Stephanie is threatening her. Stephanie said she's merely trying to clarify Brooke's position. Brooke admitted it was wrong to suggest firing Stephanie, Eric and Ridge, and she wants to continue working with them. However, Brooke said Nick still has a problem with her working with Ridge. Brooke said the best solution is for her to open an office at Marone and run things from there. Stephanie rejected that as a viable option and asked Brooke if she wanted to be a part of that family or not. Brooke said of course, that's what she's always wanted. Stephanie pleaded with Brooke to not allow Nick and her father to screw things up now that she finally has what she's always wanted. Stephanie insisted Nick and her father are blinded by revenge, and dropped the bombshell on Brooke that Stephen slept with Taylor. Brooke was flabbergasted by the revelation. Brooke insisted she never wanted any of this to happen, and declared she wanted to run Forrester WITH the Forresters. Stephanie asked if Brooke would sign Taylor's two percent of the stock back over to her. Stephanie's request drew Brooke's suspicions. Stephanie said that the people she shouldn't trust are Nick and Stephen. Stephanie offered to give Brooke everything her father can't, if she'll side with Steph and their family. When Stephanie pushed Brooke too far, it backfired, and Brooke said she can't do what Stephanie wants her to. La Forrester flipped out and vowed to not let Brooke betray her and her family again as she threw a knife at the wall next to Brooke.

Stephen paid Jackie a visit. Jackie suggested that Stephen came by because he didn't want to celebrate his move against the Forresters alone, and asked him how he managed to get Taylor to part with her stock. He smoothly explained that Taylor wanted to sever all her ties with the Forresters after Stephanie humiliated her both publicly and privately. Stephen said he doesn't like to see someone that special get hurt. Stephen asked Jackie if she had any bubbly because the two of them have lots to celebrate. As the two enjoyed champagne, Jackie confessed her attraction to Stephen, and said she'd like to get to know each other better before drawing him into a slow passionate kiss.

Nick apologized to Bridget for stopping by. Bridget told Nick she believed that Brooke was starting to let go of Ridge before his heart attack. Nick expressed his worries that Brooke will get sucked back in if she works with them. Nick asked Bridget her opinion. Bridget said her opinion didn't matter, but did advise that Ridge and Stephanie would use things to their advantage. Nick asked Bridget if she wanted to tell him what happened between him and Dante. Bridge explained that Dante wanted more than she was willing or ready to give. Bridget said Dante is a really good and caring man. Nick said Dante was there for her when he should have been. Bridget asked Nick if he ever wondered what life would have been like for them if Nicole had lived. Nick said he keeps her picture (ultrasound) in his wallet and talks to her all the time. Nick said he still loves Bridget, too, and insisted he really did want things to work between them. Bridget said when it did, it was everything she had ever imagined, and so much more.

Nick said he couldn't support Brooke if she didn't fire the Forresters. "You can't have a life with them and a life with me," he growled. Brooke explained that axing her former in-laws would send the company into a financial free fall and suggested making everyone happy by having her office at Marone Industries. Ridge reluctantly agreed and left. "I don't like it," summed up Nick but he respected her decision. After he departed, Ridge returned and praised Brooke on the way she handled Nick. "You'll always be my Logan," Ridge declared.

To avoid an ugly confrontation, Christian left Dante's studio. Felicia was peeved at Dante for running off Christian. She became further riled when Dante asked why she acted like a slut, but then countered she was better than that. He accused her of intentionally being reckless whenever her life is going well and told her she deserved good things to happen to her. Felicia was touched with Dante's concern and honesty and they warmly embraced.

Stephanie tried to apologize to Taylor, but Stephen interrupted the make-up attempt. Stephanie told him to butt out, which ticked off Taylor. "He didn't betray me!" she angrily pointed out. Stephanie asked for the stocks back, but Stephen said it was too late. "I never want to look at you again!' Taylor screamed at her ex-mother-in-law and Stephanie left. Taylor then told Stephen that their relationship would have to end because of her history with Brooke. He agreed and kissed her before leaving.

An agitated Nick visited Bridget and explained how Brooke now has 52 percent of Forrester, but would be working at Marone. When Bridget asked how he felt about that, he admitted to feeling "lost."

Stephanie returned to Forrester Creations and told Brooke that she still had faith in her. "Are you with me or against me?" Stephanie asked.
