At Marone Industries, Nick worried that Ridge might still have not gotten the message that his days with Brooke are over. Nick humorously suggested they just rush their nuptials and summon a justice of the peace to his office. Brooke kissed him goodbye before going to work at Forrester. One of Marone's admirals informed Nick that their fleet of ships are having problems gaining proper access to ports worldwide. Nick assured the admiral he'd handle the situation. Jackie arrived. Nick told her that Brooke is surprising him with the wedding details. Nick lamented Brooke's work on the relaunch of Brooke's Bedroom line. Jackie defended Brooke's work, reminding Nick that the line is the talk of the fashion industry. Nick insisted to Jackie that Brooke remains vulnerable to Stephanie and the Forresters' machinations. Nick vowed that once he's married to Brooke that he will force her to either fire the Forresters or quit working with them.

At Forrester, Ridge told Thorne of his intentions to finally let go of Brooke, although he insisted that Nick will never be able to make Brooke as happy as he could. Thorne asked if Ridge is willing to wait for Brooke to "come to her senses." Ridge said he has no choice. Stephanie and Massimo conspired to bust up Nick and Brooke by delivering Brooke a "strike three" to Nick via Brooke's new photo shoot. Massimo left before Brooke arrived for her shoot. Ridge soon joined them and complimented Brooke on how beautiful she looked. Brooke proceeded to model Ridge's designs for the photo shoot as Ridge and Stephanie looked on. Brooke completed her shoot, and Stephanie and the photographer happily reviewed the pics on the computer. Stephanie suggested trying some tastefully done photos in the nude. When Brooke hesitated, Stephanie suggested that Nick probably wouldn't approve. Brooke asserted her independence by agreeing to give it a shot. Ridge joined them and encouraged the idea as Brooke happily posed for the pics. Stephanie whispered to Ridge to not give up on Brooke.

Ridge told Stephanie about his "Unforgettable" evening with Brooke, and declared that things were over for good between them. On the Shady Marlin, Brooke arrived to tell Nick that she made Ridge understand that she and Nick are going to remain together and get married. Nick told Brooke he understands how hard it all must be for her. Brooke agreed, but said she didn't love Nick any less...she wants Ridge to have a life and future of his own. Brooke said as soon as Nick gets Bridget to sign the divorce papers they'll finally be in business. Nick left to find Bridget. Alone on the boat, Brooke was confronted by Stephanie, who asked Brooke what she could do to prevent Brooke from rushing into marriage with Nick. Stephanie pleaded with Brooke not to close the door on Ridge. Stephanie tried to use reverse psychology by exposing Nick's faults to plant seeds of doubt in Brooke's mind. Stephanie's campaign infuriated Brooke, who dug in her heels and stood her ground and insisted that things aren't going to change. Stephanie met with Massimo and told him after meeting with Brooke she's come up with a plan — one to deal Brooke her third strike with Nick.

Bridget lamented hurting her sister to Dante. Dante reassured Bridget that Felicia still loves her, and that Felicia will be able to get past everything. Dante reminded her that no obstacles stand between them anymore and they're finally free and able to love each other. They then began to kiss. Dante professed his love to Bridget and ripped off Bridget's clothes and carried her to bed and the two made love to candlelight and a roaring fire. Nick arrived just after they had sex. Dante said he'd take a shower while she talked to Nick. Nick presented her with their divorce papers. Bridget told Nick that she's truly happy with Dante and she knows that he's found happiness with her mother. After signing the papers Bridget told Nick she's happy for him and her mother, and gave him a kiss. Nick quietly gathered the papers and left without saying a word. Nick returned to Brooke on the Marlin and confessed that signing the divorce papers wasn't as easy as he thought. Nick then declared that nothing's going to stop them from getting married, and the two of them started making out.

Bridget apologized to Felicia for Felicia losing Dante to her. Felicia got angry and said Bridget couldn't forgive Felicia because Felicia's baby lived and hers didn't. Bridget was aghast at the low blow. Felicia apologized and said she went after the thing that would be most hurtful. Felicia then apologized for being so selfish with her in the past. The two argued over their actions concerning Dante. Felicia said she had been a despicable person her whole life. Bridget said Dante does have feelings for Felicia. Felicia asked Bridget why she told her she was through with Dante when she wasn't. Bridget said she was guilty of having a change of heart. Felicia wondered how Dante could trust her given how fickle Bridget has been. Bridget explained the dynamics of her feelings for Dante. Dante arrived and Felicia declared that Dante was not going to tell her their wedding is off. Dante said he wants to say something about their son. Felicia warned him not to use their son. Dante told Felicia she loved him because he was always a dreamer — and his dream (to be with Bridget) actually came true. Felicia tearfully resigned herself to losing Dante, but refused to return his engagement ring — saying she'd keep it as proof that such a drop-dead gorgeous guy would ever think he could land her as his wife.

Ridge arrived at the restaurant to meet Brooke for their dinner date. Brooke said tonight was about just the two of them, as they know each other. Brooke said she knows it's been a difficult year for Ridge, especially knowing that she's been the source of their pain and confusion. Brooke handed Ridge a wedding announcement for her and Nick. She said she didn't expect him to be there. Brooke thanked Ridge for shaping her into the woman she is today, and tearfully asked Ridge if he could let her go. Brook said she loves Nick and they're going to be together. Brooke informed Ridge that Nick and Bridget's divorce had been finalized. Ridge told Brooke his heart can't take any more stress, and began to walk out. Brooke said walking out on him would hurt her immensely. Ridge then grabbed the bottle of champagne in the ice bucket and returned to their table and poured them each a glass. Ridge proposed a toast to happiness. The two then danced to their song, "Unforgettable." After their dance Brooke presented Ridge with a gift — a photo album of their wedding, honeymoon and RJ's birth. Brooke said the album is for RJ when he gets older. The rest of the album was empty to fill with pictures as RJ gets older. Ridge said he always wanted her to ask something impossible of him so he could prove to her how much he loves her. Brooke asked Ridge to close his eyes. When he did she walked over to him and kissed him farewell. When he opened his eyes Brooke was gone.

On the Marlin, Brooke and Nick debated whether Bridget should be with Dante. Brooke asked Nick if he felt that Bridget still has feelings for him. Nick said he wasn't sure, but Brooke wondered if it might be true. Nick believed that Bridget has enough on her mind with Dante. Nick told Brooke he planned to marry her as soon as gets Bridget's signature on their divorce papers. Nick then showed an excited Brooke the wedding announcements he had printed up for them. Nick and Brooke rejoiced in their love.

Felicia told Eric that Bridget is angry at her for surviving cancer and taking Dino away from her. Eric rejected the idea. But Felicia remained convinced. Felicia was further convinced that Dante was still interested in marrying her. Eric suggested that Dante was as confused as anyone else, and asked Felicia if she confronted Dante about his kiss to Bridget. Eric suspected that Dante's heart may lie with Bridget. Felicia excitedly told Eric her secret that she and Dante plan to elope ASAP. Eric was concerned that Dante was truly on board with Felicia's plans. Eric's continued doubts of Dante hurt Felicia's feelings, but Eric insisted he was on her side. After Felicia left Dante arrived. Eric quizzed Dante on his and Felicia's plans to elope. Dante told Eric he had made a mistake and revealed that he intends to be with Bridget. Eric angrily demanded answers from Dante as to why both of his daughters think they're going to be with him. Dante apologized and said he needs to do what's in his heart. Eric expressed concern that Felicia is not as tough as everybody thinks she is.

Dante and Bridget made out on the couch and reveled in their renewed romance. Stephanie barged in and demanded that Dante take his hands off of her. Bridget said she doesn't have to justify her feelings. Stephanie demanded that Dante honor his commitment to Felicia, and exploded when Dante and Bridget refused to back down. Stephanie declared that Bridget is definitely "her mother's daughter" and berated her for always saying one thing and meaning something else. Stephanie's tirade infuriated Dante, who ordered Steph to leave — or else he'd throw her out himself. Bridget asked Dante to leave to help defuse the situation. After he left, Bridget declared to Stephanie that she loves Dante and can't imagine her life without him. She said she prayed that Felicia will find a away to forgive her. Stephanie said she loves Bridget but after this she won't ever be able to look at her again without thinking of her mother (Brooke). Stephanie told Bridget she was going to break the news to Felicia, and warned Bridget she didn't know if she could ever forgive her for what's happened. After Stephanie left Felicia arrived and, under the mistaken belief that Dante planned to elope with her, demanded that Bridget leave Dante alone. To her shock, Bridget defied her and tearfully declared that she can't do that.

Dante showed up at Felicia's place and apologized for the wedding debacle. He was surprised when she was still determined that they get married but he had trouble expressing his true feelings with Dino in the room. Felicia still blamed Bridget for throwing herself at Dante but before he could refute that, Stephanie showed up and asked him to come over to the house. There, Eric urged Dante to honor his commitment to Felicia and their son. After Eric left, Stephanie warned that he would never be happy with Bridget. "If you're going to badmouth Bridget, this conversation is over," cautioned Dante. Stephanie pointed out that Nick is still in the picture once Brooke returns to Ridge. "If you choose Bridget, Felicia won't take you back," declared Stephanie.

At her beach house, Bridget explained to Brooke how much she loves Dante but worried how it was hurting Felicia. Brooke asked if her daughter was really ready to put her needs before everyone else's and Bridget assured she was. "Felicia is going to be so devastated," Bridget lamented, but Brooke pointed out that she deserved happiness too. Brooke was surprised when Bridget revealed that she wanted to marry Dante. "If that's what you really want, sweetheart, don't let anybody stop you," Brooke advised, but Bridget fretted how the rest of the Forresters will take this. "You're the only woman for him," Brooke assured, then made her exit. Dante returned and admitted he didn't break up with Felicia. "We'll help her understand," offered Bridget but an unsure Dante asked if she really wanted him. Bridget started kissing him passionately.

Stephanie checked in on Felicia and was surprised to hear her making wedding plans. Brooke arrived and announced her support for Bridget and Dante. Stephanie was peeved and Felicia huffed that Bridget was delusional.
