Hector asked Thorne to leave but Thorne refused, and demanded answers from him and Taylor. Hector and Thorne agreed to talk amongst themselves, and sent Taylor home to be with Phoebe. After Taylor left Hector told Thorne to get lost. Thorne refused until he got some straight answers from Hector. Hector insisted he's simply a good friend, while Thorne accused him of pushing her into a relationship. Hector explained that he, Taylor and Phoebe are all still ferklempt from Darla's accident, and everyone blamed themselves for what happened. Hector told Thorne that Darla's death was an accident because Darla lost her balance and fell onto the road. Thorne became enraged. Hector insisted that Thorne won't find peace until he accepts that what happened to Darla was a terrible accident. Thorne angrily told Hector to leave him and Taylor alone and stormed out. Hector phoned Taylor to warn her that Thorne was on his way over. Taylor thanked him for his help but refused to change her mind about confessing and hung up on Hector just as her doorbell rang. Thorne apologized for leaning too much on Taylor and not worrying about her concerns and needs. Thorne warned Taylor that Hector is obsessed with her and is trying to control her life. Thorne expressed outrage over Hector's suggestion that he accept Darla's death as an accident, and vowed to make whoever was responsible pay. Taylor broke down and told Thorne that she's the person he's looking for — the person who killed Darla is her.

Dante and Felicia frantically searched the grounds for Dino. Dante recalled an electrician and delivery guy who were there recently. When Felicia noticed her bag was taken as well, Dante realized that they could track Dino and her bag with the GPS built into Felicia's PDA, while the kidnapper continued driving Dino away in his car. Felicia called Lt. Baker while Dante booted up Felicia's laptop to locate her GPS. Once they got a fix on the location Dante and Felicia raced to the location. The GPS tracker revealed that the location changed to the airport. Felicia and Dante sped to the airport, and found Dino alive and well — on the Forrester jet. Eric had taken him for the day, as planned. Felicia forgot — and didn't see the reminder that Eric left for her. Eric was dismayed that they panicked and called the police. When Eric went to speak to the police, a tearful Felicia vowed to never let Dino out of her sight, while Dante vowed to never let either one of them out of his. Felicia dismissed his proclamation as the result of an adrenaline buzz from the panic over Dino. Dante said his feelings did not stem from adrenaline, and professed his love for Felicia. He promised to prove it to her, and the two of them kissed passionately.

A grief-stricken Thorne recalled his fondest moments with Darla in flashback as he stood at her grave. As Thorne took a seat on a bench nearby he observed Phoebe paying her own tearful respects at Darla's grave. Thorne overheard Phoebe cry and apologize to Darla for what happened and say she hopes she won't lose her mother, too. Thorne approached and asked Phoebe what she meant by that comment. Thorne then answered his own question and surmised that she was talking about when she thought Taylor was dead years ago. Thorne asked Phoebe if Hector has been good for Taylor. Phoebe said she thought so at first but not anymore then and clammed up, raising Thorne's suspicions.

Hector and Taylor rehashed their argument over whether Taylor should confess to Thorne. Hector presented Taylor with plane tickets for him, Taylor and Phoebe to go to Mexico for a couple weeks to clear their heads. Hector begged Taylor to let him take care of her. Taylor dismissed Hector's idea and said that what happened won't be washed away by sunshine and margaritas. Taylor said she can't get Darla, Thorne and Alexandria out of her mind. Hector asked Taylor if she's thought about what will happen to Phoebe if she confesses. Taylor declared that keeping the secret isn't right, and that the truth will set everyone free. Hector warned that the two of them will be locked away if she confesses. As their argument intensified in volume Thorne arrived, noticed how upset Taylor was and demanded to know what was gong on.

Dante recapped his history with Eric and declared that he's in love with Felicia. He asked Eric for another chance to prove himself and insisted he won't let her down. Eric said that Felicia is the one who needs convincing and encouraged Dante to pay her a visit at the guesthouse. Dante met Felicia at the fountain outside where she had taken Dino for some fresh air. As Dante and Felicia stepped inside for a moment a pair of male hands reached inside Dino's stroller and snatched the baby. Inside, Dante flirted with Felicia. When she called him on it, Dante said he was wrong about a lot of things, and their attraction intensified. Felicia suggested she put Dino to bed so they could be alone together. Felicia yelled out in horror when she saw Dino was gone. Felicia and Dante rushed to the pool worried that he might have crawled into it, while the unidentified kidnapped sped away with Dino locked in his car seat.

At Forrester, Donna fantasized about being with Ridge until Ridge and Felicia entered. Ridge noticed that Donna seemed "a million miles away" and asked her what was going on inside her head. Donna said she was still on a high from the fashion show. Donna told Ridge that Brooke apologized to her and said she was just concerned about her. Donna told Ridge Brooke wants her to keep things strictly professional with him. Ridge joked that won't be easy, because the press will want more after the first showing. Ridge started massaging her and told her she needs to relax. As Ridge began to caress her they gazed into each other's eyes, and he told her he has another design to model. Donna changed into the new outfit and modeled it for Ridge, who marveled at Donna. The two seemed to be "working" at cross purposes, for what Donna seemed to read as sexual tension Ridge labeled "creative energy."

Hector quizzed Phoebe on Taylor's whereabouts, but Phoebe defiantly stonewalled. When Hector pressed, Phoebe caved and told him Taylor was with Thorne. Hector expressed his worry that Taylor is going to confess and destroy everything for all of them. Phoebe suggested that maybe the judge would be lenient towards her mother. Hector dismissed Phoebe as a naive teenager and said he must stop Taylor before it's too late. At Thorne's place, Taylor reassured him that Alexandria was going to be just fine at summer camp. Thorne thanked Taylor for the "huge difference" she's made in their lives. Taylor warned that things will still be difficult for awhile. Thorne said he was grateful for Taylor's presence because most people are at a loss for words and have been keeping their distance. Thorne expressed his regret at the way his family abandoned Taylor during her divorce, but Taylor downplayed what happened as "ancient history," and vowed to do whatever she could to help Thorne and Alexandria find closure and move on with their lives. Taylor got emotional and told Thorne she doesn't deserve his gratitude and support. Thorne insisted it was because of her that Alexandria has the chance to come out of this unscathed, and hugged Taylor as Hector watched from outside. Not knowing what was being said, Hector worried that Taylor might be confessing to Thorne. When Taylor got in her car she was surprised by an angry Hector in her back seat.

As the clothes steamers puffed away in the background, Ridge and Donna got steamy all by themselves by kissing passionately. Ridge coyly observed that "it's starting to feel like old times again." Ridge clarified by saying it's been a long time since he went into a showing hyped up with that much nervous energy. Ridge told Donna that she made the right choice in her modeling, and spoke to her seductively as he reassured her of her position at Forrester.

Taylor visited Hector at the fire house. Hector pulled her aside and tried to quietly reason with her about why it's in everyone's best interests for her to not turn herself in. Hector's captain called everyone together to honor Hector with a medal. Hector thanked everyone and said this is all he ever wanted to do in his life, and hoped that could continue to do this for a very long time. Lt. Baker arrived to show his appreciation to Hector in Darla's case. Lt. Baker told Taylor he's confident the hit-and-run is eating away at the perpetrator and it's only a matter of time until he or she tells someone. Afterward Hector repeated his sermon to Taylor that for everybody's sake she needs to keep her mouth shut.

Nick arrived home and Brooke lamented to him about the show Donna put on. Nick was understanding and supportive of Donna, and was shocked to learn that Brooke fired her. Brooke said she fired her to protect her. Nick said Donna's not some starry-eyed school girl. Brooke shocked Nick when she told him that she spied Donna and Ridge kissing. Brooke insisted that she's not jealous of Donna, she's just concerned about her. Donna arrived and Brooke apologized for what she had said to her before. Brooke said she loves her and doesn't want her with Ridge because Ridge isn't right for her. Donna said she didn't have to fire her to keep her from Ridge. Donna conceded that Ridge isn't over Brooke and probably never will be. Donna said she really wants to work for Brooke and the bedroom line. After Donna promised to keep things professional with Ridge and remain loyal to Brooke, Brooke rehired her and they sisters hugged.

Stephanie told Thorne about Donna's provocative show and shared with Thorne her suspicions that Brooke is jealous of her sister. Ridge and Donna recoiled when Brooke flipped out and fired Donna for her risqué performance on the runway. Ridge pleaded with Brooke to be reasonable while Donna conceded she's inexperienced but maintained she got the audience attention in a positive way. Donna accused Brooke of wishing she were the one on the runway. Ridge admitted that everything Donna did was his idea. Both of them accused Brooke of regretting her decisions to leave Brooke's Bedroom behind. Ridge questioned Brooke about what exactly she found objectionable. Brooke said she thought Donna believed Brooke's Bedroom was about sophisticated sexuality but her actions belied that. Thorne downplayed everything as a difference of opinion on marketing philosophy. After she took a call from Nick on her cell, Ridge dared Brooke to stay and return as the line's model, but Brooke left. Donna and Ridge exchanged witty repartee as Donna thanked him for being in her life, and the two kissed. Back at Marone Industries, Brooke waited for Nick in his office, realized everything she's given up for him, and uttered to herself, "My God, what have I done...?"

Hector told Taylor his police contacts indicate they have no solid leads on Darla's hit and run, so there's no reason for her to take a leave of absence from her practice, much less turn herself in. Taylor asked Phoebe to wait outside and told Hector she appreciates everything he's done for her but it feels like he's taking over her life. Hector told her she's barely functioning and suggested they should leave L.A. and get as far away from Thorne and Alexandria as possible. Hector insisted he's the one who should be taking her to AA, not Thorne. Taylor rejected Hector's desire to take control. Stephanie paid Taylor a visit to thank her for being so kind to Thorne and the baby. When Taylor rebuffed Stephanie's compliments, Stephanie apologized to Taylor for not standing by her, and asked for their friendship back. Stephanie said she's lost one daughter-in-law and can't bear to lose another. Stephanie asked for forgiveness. Taylor tearfully said the real question is if she can forgive herself. Stephanie said she never wants anything to come between them again, and hugged a weeping Taylor.
