Brooke made a last-minute plea to Nick not to take Forrester Creations but he turned her down. Nick demanded Eric to continue but Ridge urged his dad not to cave. Eric reminded his kids that he didn't want to risk Stephanie's freedom. "I will not let her go to prison because I love her," Eric charged. He then asked Nick to remove the non-compete clause and Nick agreed. One by one, the Forresters signed away their shares to Nick (Felicia even slapped him after she gave her autograph). A reluctant Ridge finally signed. "You declared war on the the wrong people," Ridge warned his brother. The Forresters gathered in a group hug but when Nick left, Brooke followed him. "What happened to the man I love?" Brooke asked when they were alone, but Nick defended his actions. He was shocked when Brooke then signed her shares over to him as well. "If you want Forrester Creations so bad, take it all," she huffed. Nick tried to change her mind but this time, she turned him down and ordered him to stay away from her and her kids. Brooke returned to Eric's office and announced that she sold Nick her shares. "Thank you," a grateful Eric smiled and embraced Brooke. Later, Brooke confessed to Ridge that she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. "You are unforgettable," she purred and they melted into a kiss.

Stephanie continued their bitter arguing. "Who the hell are you to judge me!" Steph yelled. Donna barged in and told La Forrester to back off. "You're never getting my company!" Stephanie growled and stalked out. She returned to Forrester and told Eric she wanted to counter-sue the Marones. Eric then revealed that he sold out to Nick. "You sold our company?!" an enraged Stephanie asked. "Are you CRAZY?!" Meanwhile, Nick went home, where Donna was still waiting. She was stunned to hear that Brooke sold her stocks. Nick admitted that getting Forrester didn't feel quite the way he thought it would.

Bridget was surprised when Shane approached her at the hospital; he needed treatment for head lacerations (sustained from Hector's beating). Bridget bandaged him up and he observed Bridget's nervousness around her. Shane apologized for not testifying at Taylor's trial and said Phoebe was the best thing that ever happened to him. When Bridget turned her back for just a moment, Shane slipped away.

At the Marone mansion, Nick informed Jackie that he was having a meeting with the Forresters that day. "By the end of today I'll either own Forrester Creations or Stephanie goes to jail," he huffed. After he left, Stephanie barged in looking for Nick. When Jackie brought up the subject of Forrester, Stephanie barked that her company isn't for sale. "It's payback time, Stephanie," Jackie clucked, but was shocked that Stephanie wanted to gamble her freedom by going to trial. Steph insisted she won't give into Nick's blackmail, however Jackie refused to rein in her son. "I wonder how a woman who has so much can be so hostile," Jackie seethed.

Brooke was waiting in Nick's office when he arrived. She tried again to reason with him, but he reiterated his quest to take over Forrester or else he'll have "Stephanie's head on a platter." Nick asked if his wife had finally come to a decision; Brooke impressed that she couldn't be a part of his plan. "Stephanie will be held accountable," Nick bellowed. Storm appeared, ready to escort his clients to their all-important meeting.

Rick and Kristen gathered with their siblings in their father's office. Thorne announced that he proposed to Taylor and everyone was happy for him, especially Ridge. Eric then presented his children with Nick's bid to buy their shares. The contract also included a non-compete clause that the Forresters must obey for 10 years. Felicia asked why Stephanie wasn't present and Eric contended that he's trying to protect his wife and she won't see it that way. The kids all protested selling. "I'm not going to sign this crap!" Ridge sniped as Nick, Brooke and Storm arrived. "Discussion time is over," Nick declared. "It's all or nothing." Ridge told him to go to hell, but Eric didn't want to risk losing Stephanie and was prepared to sign. Brooke stopped him and begged Nick to reconsider. "Don't take their company away from them," she tearfully pled.

Taylor paced nervously in her jail cell. Thorne showed up when he heard the jury had reached a verdict and she thanked him for his testimony. Storm arrived, but wasn't sure how the jury would vote since they never got to hear Shane's testimony. "Let's be realistic, I'm going to prison," Taylor lamented. Court was reconvened and the verdict was announced: Not guilty for vehicular manslaughter! Taylor was shocked. Storm moved for the charge of obstruction of justice to be dropped, too. The judge agreed. "You're well represented," the judge informed Taylor and sentenced her to 100 hours of community service and released her. Taylor's loved ones were overcome with relief.

Jackie was released from the hospital and Nick brought her back to recuperate at Massimo's empty house. Donna dropped by for a visit, but Jackie was plagued by painful headaches. Donna seemed put off by Nick's drive to take over Forrester Creations. Nick admitted that his maneuver will force Brooke to choose between running the company with him or siding with her ex.

Taylor's supporters gathered at her house for a celebration. "Didn't you use to be older and more boring?" Felicia ribbed Storm. Ridge thanked Thorne for helping Taylor and approved of his brother's romance with Taylor. She expressed her gratitude to Storm and told everyone she would never forget Darla. After the guests left, Alexandria appeared with her nanny and rushed into Taylor's arms. The nanny escorted Alexandria to Sally's and Thorne accompanied Taylor to her bedroom where he proposed to her again. "I want you in my life," he declared and she happily accepted. They sealed it with a passionate kiss. Oh and then they started to take off their clothes.
