B&B Recaps Week of January 15, 2007

Friday, January 19, 2007
Donna griped at Nick about how the Forresters wronged her family. She then lauded her boss for the man he is. "Now I see what made you so special to Brooke," Donna praised. Ridge showed up and taunted Donna for working with Nick. "It's nice to be reminded what your family is made of," Donna hissed and walked out. Ridge then returned the wedding present Nick gave Taylor and warned that his downfall was imminent.

In their new office suite (which looked a lot like Massimo's old digs) the Forresters were fired up about launching their new fashion house. Donna showed up and when Felicia tried to throw her out, Brooke announced that she invited her sister to come. When the siblings were alone, Donna scolded Brooke for sticking with the Forresters but she was unruffled. "Come work with us," Brooke smiled. Donna was taken aback by the job offer but reminded her sister that she was under contract to Nick. Brooke invited Donna backstage at their new showroom where they were about to announce the name of their company to the press.

Nick and his minions watched the live broadcast of the Forrester press conference, where Ridge unveiled the name of their new company: Forrester Originals. Storm were aghast that Eric went against the terms of their contract and used the Forrester name. "They can't do that," Jackie wailed. Meanwhile, Ridge urged their clients not to confuse them with Nick and his rags. Brooke then emerged on the runway in one of Eric's new stunning designs. Ridge climbed on stage, got down on bended knee and presented a ring. "The best days are still ahead of us," Ridge proposed and Brooke happily accepted. Nick was crushed by the display and Clarke snapped off the TV. "They made a big mistake," Nick seethed and declared that he would buy up all the distributors that would normally carry Eric's fashions.

Due to bad weather in Chicago, Stephanie's flight was grounded for the rest of the day. Everyone decided to go ahead with the wedding anyway, which was taking place at Eric's house. As Taylor got ready upstairs, Nick's words that she was making a mistake echoed in her head. Thorne carried in the wedding dress Eric designed for her. After he left, Brooke showed up and asked if Taylor was sure about her decision to marry Thorne. Taylor insisted she was. Downstairs, Ridge expressed his regret to Thorne that Hope blabbed to Alexandria about Darla. Thorne assured that he was glad the truth came out so they could deal with it.

Pamela found the photos of Taylor that Alexandria defaced and showed them to Eric. He decided not to show them to Thorne and Taylor until after they returned from their honeymoon. Meanwhile, Taylor invited Alexandria to help her get dress. As the bride unzipped the garment bag, the tyke screamed, "Don't!" Taylor was shocked to find her wedding dress had been shredded. Thorne came in and, after Alexandria confessed to playing Edward Scissorhands, he and Taylor decided to call off the wedding for the little girl's sake. Taylor asked Thorne to go downstairs and make the announcement while she slipped out the back and went home. After Thorne informed the family that there wasn't going to be a wedding, Eric showed him the photos. When Alexandria saw them in her daddy's hands, she whined, "I don't know why I'm so bad."

Jackie pushed Nick to stop Taylor's wedding, but he refused. Clarke, Storm and Donna entered for a meeting and Nick reminded the troops that the Forresters were publicly unveiling their new company tomorrow and he was still determined to bring them down. "This is the chance I've been waiting for," Clarke declared and the others agreed. Nick suggested that everyone come up with ideas on how to diffuse the attention the Forresters will surely garner. He then headed over to Taylor's house to drop off a wedding gift. When he got there, he was surprised to find Taylor there. She revealed the wedding had been postponed because Alexandria wasn't ready after all. "I feel like such a fool," Taylor sobbed as Nick drew her into a comforting embrace.

Ridge asked Taylor if there was any truth to Brooke's suspicions that she and Nick are becoming involved. Taylor was annoyed that Brooke blabbed, but Ridge was sure Nick would be petty enough to sabotage her relationship with Thorne just for revenge. Taylor got even more irritated by the accusation and defended Nick.

As the wedding plans moved forward, Thorne brought Alexandria over to his parents house so Felicia, Eric and Pamela could reason with her. "What Taylor did was an accident," Felicia explained. "Taylor is not a bad person. Deep down, you know how much she loves you." Ridge and Taylor arrived and she told Alexandria, "This wedding doesn't have to happen." Not wanting her daddy to be sad, the tot gave her okay. Thorne was thrilled, yet Taylor was bothered by the quick turnaround. Alexandria went into the den and colored over Taylor's photos.

Bridget visited Nick at Forrester Creations and was surprised to hear that he was going through with his divorce from Brooke. He admitted that his therapy with Taylor has helped him a lot. Jackie showed up in time to hear about the impending divorce. "That couldn't have been easy," she noted. Bridget apologized for Stephanie's behavior. Jackie asked if Taylor and Thorne were going to postpone their nups since Alexandria is so upset, but Bridget didn't think so. Surprisingly, she agreed with Nick and Jackie that Thorne and Taylor were getting married for the wrong reasons. After Bridget left, Jackie urged Nick to stop Taylor's wedding. "No more riding in on white horses," he huffed. "If Taylor and Thorne are meant to be married, then so be it."

Eric suggested that Bridget discuss her lingering feelings for Nick with Taylor. "I can't tell you what to feel, I just want you to be careful," Dad advised.

"Answer me," Brooke demanded of Taylor and Nick. "Is something going on between you two?" Taylor told Brooke it was none of her business. Brooke reminded Nick that Taylor is committed to Thorne. "I think she's making a mistake," Nick declared. Before she left, Brooke shared a private moment with Nick and confessed she couldn't handle it if he got involved with Taylor. "Bridget cares about you and so do I," Brooke whispered and left. Taylor was upset over her situation with Alexandria. "You tore the family apart and you're trying to put it back together," Nick pointed out. Taylor told Nick she no longer felt comfortable being his doctor, but he refused to seek therapy from someone else. Bridget called Nick and asked to see him. Taylor encouraged Nick to go, but he was adamant about continuing his talk with the doc. She cautioned that talking about her personal life was inappropriate. Thorne called Taylor with the news that Alexandria seems to be getting better and there is no need to push back their wedding date. Once she hung up, Taylor told Nick to leave. Instead, he pulled her close and told her not to marry Thorne out of obligation. "It's not the answer," he explained. "You can't marry him. You can't go through with it."

Ridge was angry to hear from Shane and Phoebe that he's been lodging at Bridget's place. "I know you don't trust me," Shane said to Ridge. "Your daughter is the best thing that happened to me. Phoebe's friendship changed my life." He vowed to prove to Phoebe's family who he really is but Ridge was unimpressed.

Brooke filled Ridge in on Taylor nearly running over Alexandria. He was sure Thorne and Taylor would get through Allie's reaction to finding out the Taylor killed Darla. Brooke showed Ridge the divorce papers Nick finally handed her, then told her she suspects Nick and Taylor have become romantically involved. Brooke was worried about how Bridget will react.
